In 2011, Ford produced 5100 units of the Shelby GT500. Of that 5100, approximately 06% or a total of 33 units, were produced in this particular color and equipment combination. This car is 1 of 33. It is done in Grabber Blue, with white SVT stripes.The car is equipped with the SVT performance pak option, as well as the electronics pak option. Electronics pak includes the upgraded touch screen stereo, with Navigation as well as the juke box option and DVD player. Audio and phone controls in steering wheel. Interior is done is Black Alcantra leather and suede, with white seat stripes to match the car. The stock shift handle has been replaced with the Hurst straight shift handle. The Hurst shift handle is topped with the Ford Authentic Shelby GT 500 shift ball. The stock shift knob will be included in the sale. Included in the interior is also the Shelby VIN identification plate for the dash, complete with Carroll Shelby Auto Signature. This piece is NOT INCLUDED when the vehicle is ordered and purchased. Factory floor mats, and the original owners manual with all factory booklets are included in sale. Matching factory pedal dead pedal has been installed. Under the hood, the engine from the factory is rated at 550 horsepower. The ONLY modification to the engine is the stock air box and intake have been replaced in favor of the JLT Big Air intake and filter. This is done to accommodate the included after market tune, supplied by the well known tuner Jon Lund. (Lund Racing) With the addition of the CAI and the Jon Lund tune, the car makes about 580 to 600 horsepower. The car is very easy to drive around town, but is scary fast when called upon. The factory prop rod has been removed in favor of hood struts. Factory prop rod will be included in the sale.The stock air box and intake will be included in the sale. The Xcalibrator X3, containing the Jon Lund tune, as well as the factory stock tune, will be included in the sale. The stock fill caps have all been replaced with authentic Ford Racing Parts fill caps and covers. The rest of the drive train is stock, with the exception of the recently added (less than 500 miles ago) McLeod dual disc high performance clutch. This clutch is buttery smooth, but will accept up to 1000 horsepower, so there is plenty of room for additional modification, should you choose to do so. Clutch was professionally installed by Voss Performance in Fullerton, well known for his Mustang work. Brand new battery was just installed. On the exterior of the car, both side scoops, and rear window scoops have been added. Both have been custom painted to match the Grabber Blue exterior. Scoops can easily be removed, should the new owner choose to do so. All light lenses have been done in smoked tint. Currently, the wheels on the car are authentic Shelby Razor Rims, done in gunmetal gray. The gunmetal gray Razors are very hard to find. They are wrapped in Toyo Plus 4's done in 20 inch all around. The stock SVT rims from the factory were 19 inch front, 20 inch rear. The original SVT rims, will be included in the sale. The stock rims are in need of repair and cleaning from the original owner. They are all round and hold air no problem. Window tint professionally done.Also included in the sale of this garage queen, is the color and stripe color matched, lined car cover. It is an indoor cover that will not scratch the surface of the car. It is packed in an authentic Shelby bag.A couple of notes to buyers........The title papers on the car are currently in possession of Ford Motor Credit Corporation. As soon as the vehicle sells, payoff payment will be immediately sent to Ford Motor. The title paperwork will follow the transaction by a week or two, and will be Fedex'ed to the new owner, free of charge. As you can hopefully tell, this car has been babied and garaged full time. Thanks for stopping by to take a look at our very cool and absurdly rare 1963.5 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. Ford’s Flagship sport car just before the advent of the Mustang, this car is an excellent example of a rare combination of factory equipment, originality and pure California Cool. This Falcon was recovered from an estate sale here in so cal. It was disassembled but mostly complete. The gentleman who had begun the restoration was very meticulous about cataloging parts. We found zero body filler. All of the panels were very clean. Much but not all of the chrome was replated. Everything else was either completely rebuilt or replaced with OEM new. RarityWe used the term absurdly rare for this Falcon. While quite a few Falcons were built in 1963, this one sports a rare combination of being a Futura, Convertible, V8, 4 Speed car from the factory. It’s nearly identical to a Sprint except that is has the factory front bench seat (to keep the girlfriend close) and no tach on the dash. Few Sprints were built and even fewer still configured as a Futura like this one. Matching numbers, refinished to factory spec with a few upgrades, (the mid package; headers, exhaust, radio, wheels and tires). Exterior.Rangoon Red respray in 2016 is correct to the trim tag. Nice and clean original Rangoon Red paint can be found in the trunk and convertible top stowage area. Wheels, Tires15” Custom made Magnum 500 wheels and new Cooper Cobra tires. Original Futura hub caps and wheels are included. Engine260 CID Ford V8, headers and a fresh dual exhaust with chrome concealed tips. Freshly serviced radiator, new water pump, belts and hoses. Hardened valves for unleaded fuel. All fuel delivery, electrical is new. Runs excellent. Transmission4 Speed Manual transmission is rock solid. New Clutch package. This is an original Henry Ford steel 3 window coupe that had been in storage in central California since the late 1970's. This is an original California car and comes with a clear CA title issued in 1977 and black plates. The last 6 digits of the VIN match the numbers stamped on the frame and the body tag is still riveted to the floor. It was a hot rod since at least the 1960's and has a plate inside from a car show on April 6, 1974 where it was either shown or just attended. Since it was a hot rod there have been modifications to the body and frame some of which will be noticeable in the pictures. The top has been chopped approximately 3 inches and filled in and the firewall and front floor has been replaced with flat metal. We purchased the car disassembled and just mocked it up to make it easier to transport so it will need to be broken down again to be built. This is a good car to build a rod or custom out of as it is solid and all the hard to find parts are there. Items that come with it are; 1). Original Henry Ford 3 window coupe body and doors. 2). All of the items seen in the pictures come with the car and there are a few other pieces we got with it but I'm not sure exactly what they are or if they are even for this car as there were other cars and parts in storage with it. It does not have an engine or transmission and will need to be completely restored so be prepared for a project. I am selling a 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero. It is a numbers matching car. There's a lot to say about this car. Its one of six hundred bucket seat cars made. The car was in storage for 20 years. There is no rust on this car anywhere. when I recieved the car in 2010 I replaced almost everything on it. On the outside I rechromed everything except the front and rear bumpers. I put a new grille new headlight buckets and new turn signal units. In the back I replaced the tail light buckets and had the tail light trim rechromed. All the side trim has been polished and has no dents. The car was painted B.M.W black. On the inside of the car I replaced everything. New headliner, new seats,all new dash, original factory radio, new carpet, new door panels, new rubber everywhere. Factory windshield wiper arms. I have not put anything on this car that it didn't come with from the factory. It really gets me when I see some other Falcons advertise all original, and the seats are out of another car, or the steering wheel is a grant custom wheel. Everything on this car is what was on there when it was sold. The car has an original 289 motor, its not the hypo motor. Its the 2 barrel motor. The transmission is a C-4 three speed automatic. The engine compartment is the only part of the car I haven't restored yet. I was saving that for last. I have a lot of new engine parts that go with the car. I will also let the trophys go with the car. Car runs and drives great. It has an aluminum cross flow radiator in it now. I have a brand new stock copper and brass radiator that go with the car. its the factory radiator. I'm sure I must have left some things out please e-mail me with any questions. Oh I did forget the muffler is a little noisy it needs a new one. I was going to replace the exhuast pipe to with the muffler. I got a estimate of 250.00 because its only a single exhaust.
