Owned by the same owner for the last 30 years, the Truck recently received a "refresh", and handful of tasteful upgrades along the way! Powered by its original 302 Small block, that was serviced with new timing chain kit, water pump, and all bearings inspected and caps re-torqued. While the Engine was out, a brand new clutch was installed along with rear main seal. The 3 Speed Manual Transmission was cleaned up and also was resealed at that time. To increase braking power, the truck is outfitted with a Front Brake Disc Kit, and a HydroBooster was installed to help with pedal feel. The steering box was rebuilt with a quicker ratio gear and substantially improves steering feel. Outside the Bronco sits on a 4" Rancho Lift and is outfitted with a set of 18" Fuel Wheels wrapped in 325/60/18 Toyos. The originally riveted flares have been molded into the body to create a unique look along with a fresh coat of White paint. Sitting inside the Bronco, you will notice the custom Roll Cage that has been powder coated in black, the stock seats have been swapped out for an ultra comfortable high lumber seats. All new carpet, Tach and stereo system was installed at the time of the build. The truck does come with a Vintage Air A/c System but is currently not installed in the truck. The Bronco is a great truck with a healthy drivetrain, but it wasnt built to sit in a garage, so it can turn into an awesome small project that you can enjoy right from the day you get in! We've all seen the very nice, custom Bronco's done by companies such as Icon, Starwood and Urban Gears. They are all extremely high quality and are incredible builds. But this Bronco right here, sets the bar as far as custom Broncos are concerned. This 1974 Bronco was found on a ranch in Wickenburg AZ and brought out to Phoenix with a custom build in mind. It took almost 3 years for the owner and the build shop to finalize the plans and begin the tear down. The body came off the chassis and both were blasted and taken to bare steel. A custom, one off, 4 link suspension set up was designed, with 12 inch travel in the front and 14 inch travel in the rear. Adjustable, 3 inch King Shocks were decided on for ride control. One off, EVOD 22 inch wheels, that were custom designed and machined and wrapped in Nitto Trail Grapplers sit underneath the hand built steel fenders. The Bronco body still holds it's original shape but every inch was refinished and smoothed and blocked multiple times for an unbelievably straight and smooth surface. The fender flares were custom built from steel and all body seams were filled and welded. Aluminum fender wells, smoothed firewall and custom front and rear roll pans were built. The chassis and body were both finished in Washington Blue. Wimbledon White stripes with red pinstripes were painted on as well. Powering the Bronco is a Smedding Cobra 347 small block with Imagine 8 Stack Cross Ram Injection. Pumping out 440 horsepower and 420 lb/ft of torque. AFR heads, Vintage Air FrontRunner system, A&M aluminum radiator and full, stainless exhaust that was ceramic coated. The transmission is 4R70W with Overdrive. Other additions include, Currie Nodular cases, a Currie 9 inch with 4.56 gears and bringing it all to a stop are 6 piston Baer brakes. The interior is was also completely customized to a very high level. A full, custom molded roll cage was built and installed. A 60/40 flip bench front seat was sought out and a custom jump seat in the back. All of this being covered in Bentley leather and suede. Navy blue with white stitching on the seats, headliner and door panels. A custom box and cover were built to conceal the subwoofer, amp, battery and wiring in the rear of the Bronco. This is truly a "Must See In Person" type of build. Pictures can't do this Ford justice. Don't wait and see if the "New" Bronco comes to fruition, this is far beyond what that will be. I do not know much about this truck. It just came in on a trade, I drove it around the block and it runs and shifts pretty good. It has a 351 5.8 liter v8 with manual locking hubs and manual shifting 4x4 shifter lever. I put in 4x4 to make sure it works and it works great. It has a really clean interior, the headliner is sagging from the Arizona heat. I did also notice that the sun visors are missing. The a/c is ice cold and the power windows work great. To be 25 years old its in pretty good shape it has been painted and in my opinion the paint job was not the greatest. It doesn't look bad but its not show quality by an means. ( I am just being honest) I don't know the real miles because it has a 5 digit odometer that shows 16,xxx If you want to look at the truck you are more than welcomed to come by and look at it and test drive it. Has a 351 that was installed back in 1969 and has the date coded plate to prove. Had the Holley Carb rebuilt and motor freshened up. Bronco has power steering also. Just has the rear main tank, but can include the auxiliary one if the buyer wants it. The interior has been completely gone through and redone and looks fantatstic. The front of the motor is all new and all necessary maintenance things have been gone through to get it road worthy. Tank was cleaned and all new fuel line, brakes were gone through as well as all fluids and it has brand new mag wheels and tires. It was an old search and rescue vehicle and has various plaques and other emblems that show the age and beauty of this bronco. Has a very nice patina look too it but is a great driver as well.
