Paint on fiberglass top is original and shows some age but has the look we like to see on these old gals. The interior is in very good condition and cloth is soft many of these interiors are beat down and destroyed....but not this one! The seats look good and sit nice and it shows to have had a ez life. Here is a gorgeous example of a true survivor vehicle with ultra-low miles! Rest assured the Bronco does NOT have 132k miles it is only has 32k actual miles and will be sold as actual miles! We caught wind that the Bronco had been in a accident and insurance deemed it a total loss! We knew how spectacular this Bronco was and had to acquire it and save it! This old gal was far too nice with its low miles and shape to let it waste away in a salvage yard or God forbid be parted out! We purchased it with a NY salvage certificate. We looked Bronco over and had to have it! The sheet metal damage we had repaired was hood, drivers fender, radiator support, ac condenser, bumper filler and front bumper. We had paint digitally color matched and it looks great! We went a step further and had Bronco inspected by the state of Ga and it passed no problem and was issued a rebuilt Ga title and is now able to be back on road to enjoy. This Eddie Bauer still retains just about 90% of its factory original paint and pinstripes and they look amazing! All the weather stripping all looks great! Super nice chrome and way cool Ford accessory front bumper guards! The original windshield and leading edges of the roof and hood show almost no rock chips at all. Actually I couldn’t even find a chip on the windshield. Under the hood the engine compartment looks nice and the fuel injected 2.9L V6 runs great. It also has original hoses, ing wires, stampings and paper stickers and grease pencil marks and paint dabs. The interior looks almost brand new and still smells the part! The driver’s seat cushion especially the edge closest to the door shows no wear at all. The cushion shows no deformation. The brake pedal and gas pedal show great. The carpet and upholstery all look fantastic and show that glisten! The headliner and sun visors are not sagging at all. It also retains the original Bronco II floor mats. The undercarriage shows great its rock solid and has new front and rear Monroe Gas-Matic Shocks! Correct factory alloys with New 235-75-15 inch Goodyear Wranglers 200 miles ago! Out of the road the truck behaves like a vehicle with only 32k miles should its very tight, smooth and quiet. The fuel injected 2.9L V6 has plenty of power and the automatic shifts smoothly and firm. Rear window also has some marks, but is quite good overall. Side glass and vent windows are in really good condition, and none of the glass shows any cracks or issues with laminate. The Bronco rolls on a BRAND NEW SET of PACER 15” 8-hole show chromed rims that are wrapped in new GOODYEAR Wrangler RWL tires sized 31x10.50R 15LT all the way around. The tires are PERFECT for the Bronco, and have a great look without being unruly when you drive it! Overall, the exterior of this truck is stunning, and when you roll into a parking lot, heads turn and the cell phone camera’s flash because not many people have seen a Bronco as nice as this one! Pop the hood pins and open up the hood to a really clean and well done engine bay that is ready to start and take you anywhere! The factory 302 FORD motor is clean, neat, and more than presentable, even without a detail. It was treated to new valve cover gaskets, new intake gasket, new plugs, new distributor, new hoses, new plug wires, new alternator, new starter, new Holley Carb, new radiator, radiator shroud, fan, clamps, belt, hoses, and lines. It has the stock air cleaner/breather system which works and looks great. It had its second full fluid service since break-in and initial fluid change on 6/15/2015, and is ready to roll with about 800 miles since then, 200 or so of those being put on by me personally! It is running 10W30 here in Florida, but you can change it to whatever fits your climate the best. It has a new (6/2015) Duralast GOLD battery with 550CCA and new cables and ground strap. Factory date coded jack with handle resides on the driver side fender and works like it should. New brake master cylinder and lines, along with new shoes all around helps it stop on a dime. Brakes are correctly adjusted so that it doesn’t pull, wander, or jerk when you use them. The engine starts with a quick turn of the key, idles cleanly, and has no skip, burble, or stutter to it. Snick the 3-speed transmission into gear, and she is ready to go wherever you want! Each gear change is smooth and easy, and power comes on as needed with just a press of your right foot. No drama, no issues. Just drive it. I have personally put about 200 miles on this Bronco, and finally had to stop because I knew I had to take pictures of it and get it out in the marketplace! It is a blast to drive, and does everything like it should. Power is smooth, shifts are smooth, it doesn’t even remotely get hot, even when idling in beach traffic for 40 minutes on a Sunday, and everything on and in it works like it should. Ride is nice, thanks to NEW 5.5” long-travel coil springs up front, block lift on new springs out back, new shocks all around, and a dropped pitman arm, track bar, track bar bushings, dropped radius arms, and new bushings, bearings, and brackets, and more. It steers nice, doesn’t dance or snag wheel troughs, and is so easy to manage that my wife even wanted to take it to the store without being coerced! It has a completely rebuilt manual steering box, and the larger wheel and tire combo makes it super easy to turn, even at low speeds. The front tank was purposefully left out of the Bronco, as the prior owner had intended on putting a gun safe under that section, and never had the chance. The rear tank is new, as are the lines, and 2-way tank switch was left intact up front if you want to add one down the road. The entire chassis was treated to a VERY LIGHT COAT of Rhino –Liner material to protect it from rocks, debris, and rust. IT IS VERY LIGHT, AND YOU CAN STILL EASILY SEE ALL THE METAL ON THE FLOOR! It is solid, clean, and still shows the stamping marks on it to the naked eye. This is a very light coat, not a hiding coat like you see sometimes. The transfer case is a 300777-15 DANA-SPICER Model 20 with the serial tag still attached, and it was refurbished to stock specifications and works as it should. This unit has the 2:34.1 low range gear according to the prior owners notes, which would be correct for a model 20 in 1973 from what I found online. I have engaged both low and high aspects of the 4wd system in the grassy area behind our store, and it functions like it should. Overall, the chassis, engine bay, and mechanicals on the truck look great, perform like they should, and will not disappoint the new owner. Again, it has NOT been detailed by me, so you will see that the underside has some grime and dirt on it, and the grease from lubricating the rear diff got thrown up on the floor pan, so it will need wiped off. It is clean and solid, and a little time with a pressure washer and some towels will make it show exceptionally well when you get it home! Pull open the doors to reveal the interior, but don’t worry, they have NEW CATCH STRAPS to keep them from extending out too far! Tom’s Bronco was tapped for a complete new set of front and rear seats, and almost $1,300 later, the deluxe buckets and rear bench were installed with new hardware, seat tracks, and seat belts! They look amazing, are super easy to keep clean, and are as comfortable as most modern cars are to sit it! Tom’s also supplied the matching dual sun visors, brake pedal, clutch pedal, gas pedal, high beam floor switch with wiring harness, and a new rear view mirror. The original steering column is topped by the original steering wheel, which looks amazing and has a fully functional horn too! The shifter arm, 4x4 shift arm, and signal arm are original, and work great! Dash is clean, neat, and painted to match, and has a fully functional speedometer and odometer on it, along with inset gauges for TEMP, FUEL, OIL, and ALTERNATOR that all appear to be working as they should. Speedometer surround is original and worn, but the prior owner didn’t want to replace it. You can either restore it, paint it, leave it, or replace it if you want, and all of those options have a minimal cost involved. All of the other switches on the car work like they should, including: *LIGHT SWITCH – PARKING AND HEADLAMPS WORK, PLUS FOOT HIGH BEAM SWITCH *HAZARD LIGHT SWITCH WORKS *TWO SPEED ELECTRIC WIPERS WORK, AS DO THE WASHER SPRAY NOZZLES. *KEY SWITCH AND LIGHT WORK *VENT CONTROLS FOR DRIVER AND PASSNEGER SIDE WORK *FAN SWITCH CONTROL FOR HEATER/DEFROST WORKS The original window rollers were kept, as they look really good for being 42 years old, and the original door arm rest pads were kept for mainly sentimental reasons. They are both fully functional, but I would replace them just to make everything come up to the level of the rest of this Bronco. Door panels themselves are painted in the Smoke Gray for contrast, and have all new stainless hardware on them. New interior door pulls, and door pull cups look fantastic too, and function like they should. Door jambs are clean and hinges are lithium grease lubricated. Bottoms of the doors show wonderfully, as do the jambs and rockers. The entire floor of the Bronco is bare metal, and you can see how solid, straight, rust, and rot free it is from the top or the bottom!!!! I didn’t want to put rubber matting or carpet in this, because it is kind or a personal choice, so I thought the new owner could pick if they didn’t like the bare metal. Rear lift gate opens easily, and the factory stops work to keep it in the open spot until you want it down. Tail gate opens like it should, and it is as solid as new inside, at the pivot points, and all around. Tail gate and lift gate hardware and arms are original and in perfect working order, but not as clean and pretty as the rest of the new stuff on this machine. The fiberglass top is in fantastic condition, and is painted in the Smoke Gray color. I have never had it removed, but from what I can see, it is in phenomenal condition, with no known issues. Key locks the hatch and doors like it should, with another for the ignition. This Bronco is one bad machine, and every time I have taken it out for a spin, someone stops me for a photo, to tell me a story, or just to marvel at it! When money is not an objection, and you want it to be done right, this is the kind of ride you end up with! Up for sale in my uncut 1968 Ford Bronco, she is a hot red 4x4 that has been gone over bumper to bumper and is ready for cruising around with the top off, wheeling, running fire roads, fishing, getting the groceries or going camping. I originally purchased this from an old rancher in Nevada to build a rock crawler but just couldn’t bring myself to cut her up, lift her and put an LS swap so here she is looking for a new home. The paint is new bright and shiny, but since I was building a crawler I did not have them do any body work or use any body filler. The interior, bumpers, rocker guards and tailgate were all just Rhino Lined, It has flip forward reclining bucket seats in front, a new custom rear seat embroidered with flames and Broncos, new seat belts, new Spidershade bikini top on the original Ford roll bar, new tachometer with shift light, new LED side marker lights front and rear, new hardtop header seal as well as upper and lower door seals, the original gauges, lights, radio, wipers and heater all work and it has a 2” body lift. The engine is a Ford 250ci inline 6 that was purchased as a new rebuilt long block in 2010 and has 17k miles on it. It has new alternator, new voltage regulator, new starter, new starter solenoid, new distributor, cap, rotor and plug wires, new spark plugs, new fuel pump, new Les Schwab battery with warranty, new fuel filter, rebuilt carburetor, new air filter element, new exhaust pipe from header to rear bumper exit and a Thrush dual chamber muffler and we installed a Ford aluminum core radiator. The engine runs smooth and has tons of torque and I was pleasantly surprised it has a good amount of smooth power making this easier to handle off road (better power than my Jeep YJ with EFI) The chassis is tight and rolls down the road nice and handles good, it has new shocks all around, new steering tie rod/drag link ends, rebuild steering box, new brakes and hardware front and rear, rebuilt master cylinder, I just rebuilt the steering column shifter, it has a rebuilt rear driveline, differentials have 4.10 gears front and rear, rear has positraction, the clutch, pressure plate and clutch linkage were new with the rebuilt engine in 2010. I was told by the previous owner that the Dana 20 transfer case and 3 speed transmission were inspected and resealed at the same time. Which makes sense because it looks pretty clean, no leaks and has new looking trans mounts. Both the T-Case and Trans are smooth and work as they should. The tires are 90% 31”x10.50”x15” on steel wagon wheels with a 5th full size spare matching steel wagon wheel and 95% BFG A/T 31”x10.50”x15” tire. I have a box of original and extra parts (gauges, lights, new Pertronix electronic ignition conversion kit, heater duct, fasteners, etc) that came from the original owner as well as a bumper, powder coated rear swing out tire carrier, dash pad, windshield pillar frame, the original front and rear seats, an auxiliary rear seat heater, I also have a hardtop that is painted red to match, it has all good glass and rear hatch. This is a fun old girl that brings back a lot of memories and takes you back to a much simpler time with no bells and whistles, GPS, power windows or distractions. This is a great little Bronco but it has quirks, a few squeaks, wind noise, you have to roll up your own window and it has no A/C, these are all good things and if you don’t think so this is not a rig for you. She requires no smog and I have a clean Nevada title in hand. This is not a show quality restoration, but it is a great daily driver that you can wheel and confidently adventure out with. There are 50 years of dents, dings and memories on the body, there is very little rust that has not been treated or replaced. The only remaining area is really the outer rockers directly under the doors that area is covered by the rocker guards. I wasn’t worried about it because I was going to boat side it anyway which would have removed all that. She is a little dusty and the top is very dusty as it has been sitting in the shop for the past 6 months and we here in the California Republic are on mandatory water restriction so I couldn't wash it. We will help buyer load upon pickup or we can load for transport but all coordination and costs associated with transport are at buyer’s sole expense. I would be willing trailer and deliver within 200 miles for a fee. **** A couple people have emailed asking about the rocker rust and any other areas that might have rust so I wanted to clarify. There is really no rust on the underside as you can see from the pan pics where I removed some of the original undercoat to show the original pan metal condition, the inner rocker area has no rust, the bottom of the doors has none and the sills have none as you can se in the photos, the area that was affected is the lower outer rocker area directly under the door and this area was treated with Jasco prior to paint and installation of the Rhino lined rocker guards that cover the effected area. This is a 1972 Ford Bronco 4X4 302 3 Speed project truck. The 3 speed was originally on the column but was changed to the floor. The motor is free (not running). All the glass is good, the dash and seats are nice, has factory motor and drive train. The frame and cab mounts are real solid, NO ROT. Still has the factory rear seats. Comes with a plow frame mount. Truck needs restoration make no mistake. The tail gate is the worst part of the truck (see pictures). The truck has no title, comes with bill of sale only. 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT 4X4 Automatic 100% complete. Many good usable original parts including doors, fenders, tailgate, automatic transmission, transfer case, differentials, wheels, tires. All exterior trim is in very good condition. Frame is rusty but solid. Body in poor condition, floors, pillars and body mounts rotted. Interior is all there, dash is in good shape. Do not know current condition of motor. Previous owner stated that it ran a year ago but has not run since. Motor spins freely. I put a battery to it and got nothing so I'd guess it needs electrical work and a carb cleaning at the very minimum. Has a plow that will go with it if you want it although it is also badly rusted.
