The Fabspeed exhaust makes this Ferrari sound incredible. The paint is flawless on this car. There are very few scratches or micro nicks on this beauty. The front underside as a crack underneath on the bottom as shown in one of the pictures, but it is an easy fix and should not cost much at all. 1989 FERRARI: MONDIAL T CABRIOLET You are bidding on an excellent condition, well maintained 1989 Ferrari Mondial "T" Cabriolet 4 seat convertable with just under 30,000 miles. Although I was unable to verify, the previous owner said this Mondial was the actual one used in the movie "Scent of a Woman" More about the Mondial T: (from topspeed.com - topspeed.com 1989 - 1993 Mondial T ) The last of the Mondial series was revealed in 1989. Called Mondial T it was the most heavily revised Mondial, with letter "T" inspired by the F1 312 T single-seater, which had just won the Formula 1 World Championship and also used the longitudinal engine/transverse gearbox layout: the previously-transverse engine was now mounted longitudinally whilst the gearbox remained transverse, thus forming a ’t’. Production last between 1983 to 1993, with 858 units produced in both right and left hand drive configurations, together with various world market specification models. The new Mondial T was finally worthing the "Ferrari" name and was able to compete with supercars such as the BMW 850i, Chevrolet Corvette, Honda NSX, Lotus Esprit and Porsche 911 Carrera. Besides using a longitudinal engine/transverse gearbox layout, Mondial T was also offering for the first time: power assisted steering, and had a 2-position electronically controlled suspension for a variable trade off between ride quality and road holding. Visually, the Mondial T had cleaner air intakes, slightly different rear wings, and rectangular instead of round headlights. The large trapezoidal rear wing air intakes disappeared, being replaced by smaller neat rectangular louvres on the rear wings, which were of a more bulbous profile, providing a more muscular stance to the car. The interior was more luxurious and got a new dash, seats, and door panels. A leather dashboard and headlining was available as an option. The longitudinally mid mounted V8 engine of 3405cc capacity, was mated to a transverse five speed all synchromesh gearbox. The enlarged engine was provided with dry sump lubrication and was initially fitted with a Bosch M2.5 and then later an M2.7 Motronic combined injection/ignition system, to produce a claimed power output of 300bhp at 7200rpm for the first main European market series, and 295bhp for the later series with the M2.7 Motronic ignition unit and catalytic convertors in the exhaust system. It made the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 6,3 seconds, while top speed went up to 155 mph. ** MORE PICTURES COMING SOON ** This 458 Italia is absolutely amazing!! I am the SECOND owner. I purchased the vehicle in January 2013 from Ferrari of Seattle. The car was on consignment there and was sold from Ferrari of Seattle to the original owner. When I purchased the vehicle, it had just under 2000 miles. Since that time, I have put approximately 10,500 miles on it for a total of 12,500 miles. The car has had ZERO damage or paint repair work. It has been under warranty for its ENTIRE life. It is serviced several times per year at Boardwalk Ferrari of Dallas. It get the necessary fluid and other necessary services. I purchased the EXTENDED FULL FACTORY warranty on 03/15/2014 for approximately $12,000.00. This extended the COMPLETE FACTORY WARRANTY until March of 2016, so the owner still has nearly 1.5 years of complete warranty with NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. The only expense a new owner would need to worry about would be oil/fluid changes, tire changes and the car payment. Everything else is under warranty so you have to worry about ZERO expense until March of 2016. I also believe that the warranty is extendable at that time if the owner wants to purchase the warranty again. The car has been absolutely amazing for me. It has NEVER been on a race track, it is simply a weekend fun car for me. I am simply selling the car because I do not get the chance to drive it much anymore and it feels like a waste sitting in my garage. This is the 3rd Ferrari I have had it and it by far the best. It is an amazing turnkey vehicle that anyone would be very happy with! This car has not been worked on or serviced by ANYONE since it has been in my possession EXCEPT Boardwalk Ferrari of Dallas.
