Amazing 1958 Edsel Pacer 2 door hardtop coupe survivor. The Pacer was only made for one year, and it is on the shorter Edsel platform. This Pacer was optioned with the 361ci FE V8 big block rated at 303 hp and 400 ft lb torque. Starts right up and runs very smooth as shown in the video with no smoking, leaks, or issues. Ford 9 inch rear end with 2.91:1 gearing. It was also ordered with the Teletouch automatic transmission which shifts flawlessly. New tune up with a pointless conversion for better mileage and reliability. It has been very well maintained and cared for. A member of the Edsel club for many years. Brand new tires and shocks. The radiator was replaced with an aluminum one and the carburetor was updated with a more reliable one (original included). The body is all original and in great condition especially considering the age with hardly any rust to speak of. Every single thing works except the gas gauge because the wire for it is loose. This Edsel is used somewhat regularly and it is very reliable and fun to drive. Tight steering and the brakes are proper. Lights, wipers, even the heater works. I have the original mirrors they were just taken off for a cleaner look. The glass goes up and down smoothly. The trunk has the original spare and jack, as well as the instructions and plastic liners as shown. You would be hard pressed to find one in better original condition.
