From concept to production, the Viper involved an international effort that resulted in an American sports car which not only defined ‘90s style but also marked a new escalation of the Detroit horsepower wars. This Generation 1 low-mileage V-10-powered roadster is one of fewer than 307 examples painted in Emerald Green, it displays 6342 miles on the odometer and also comes with factory-issue owners manual in its original case. Eight liters of displacement and 10 cylinders resulted in an engine that created 400 horsepower at 4,600 RPM and 480 lb-ft of torque at just 3,600 RPM. The engine is backed by a 6-speed transmission durable enough to deliver the Viper horsepower through the rear wheels and onto the pavement. Every effort was made to shave weight off the Viper, which scaled in at fewer than 3,500 pounds in 1994. With a focus on power and performance, the Viper was equipped with only what was needed to drive it and literally built around the V-10. The front-mid engine layout of the rear-wheel-drive roadster lends the Viper its rakish long hood, sporting cockpit and short rear deck. I'm selling the Viper because I bought another car. The Viper rides and drives like new. The paint is a real glossy black and the interior looks like new which the leather seats have no wear or tear. I put 4 new tires on it and put trim on the interior which cost 4000.00. It has 1996 Viper rims which I had rechromed when I bought the car. I have both hard and soft tops which are in perfect condition. I would use the car to go to car shows and won many awards.
