Description:It's been a great driving car, very reliable, starts every time. Clean title, will need to be registered in your state, tags expired in May 2015. Car is in Oxnard, California, but registered in Virginia. Miles are mostly highway miles, to and from work. RUNS GREAT, economical, gets around 20 mpg. Selling because we needed a van, which we have now, and don't use the car. Recent work done or new items on the car: 4 new tires, new water pump, fittings and hoses; new thermostat, new alternator and serpentine belt, new battery. Detractors. Gas gauge isn't true, at half a tank it is at empty. Full to half is how you have to gauge it, but it does use the whole tank of gas. But does not effect it's reliable features. Clunk in the front right wheel, but had it looked at, no big deal, it makes a little noise when you hit bumps. Everything is in good working order. Except the heater fan only works on high position, AC blows cold. GOOD STUFF Huge trunk, lots of storage, electronic key ring that opens all 4 doors for easy entry. Reliable, starts right up. Ready to drive today. Paint is in excellent condition, no rust, everything that was wrong on the car has been fixed. Well maintained. For sale: 2004 Dodge Stratus SE. The Bad: Car is in "Limp Mode". Will not shift out of 2nd gear. Was told it could be speed sensors or Transmission Control Module (TCM). Will need front brakes and rotors also. Back passenger side window is slow to go up and down. The good: Starts and runs great besides shifting issue. Good tires, valid Pa inspection thru 3/16. Heat and AC works. Clean interior along with body does have some rust spots. Car was in an accident 10/2005 right side.I have the vehicle history report. Can provide copy if interested. Comes with 2 Firestone WinterForce tires on the front wheels with less than 1,000 miles on them. Body is in fair condition with some rust on front of hood, beginning on the rockers and both rear quarters. A/C blows cool but not cold. Has cruise control button but never worked, not sure why. Just had both front wheel bearing/hub assemblies replaced. Interior was not smoked in, no burn holes, no lingering odors. Was my wife's car for the past 5 years, unsure of ownership prior to that. Clean title in hand.

Silver 2004 V6 Dodge Stratus for sale with 115k miles. Car has never been in an accident and is maintenanced on a regular basis. The car needs to have the rear upper control arms replaced to pass inspection. We priced this out around $500 to fix. Car runs great otherwise & has a lot of power to it. From a non-smoker home. There is a key fob, power windows/seats/locks. The power lock does not work on the driver side, that door must be locked manually or with the power lock on the passenger side. There is a dvd/video player if you have long trips for your passengers to enjoy a nice movie. CD player works great. Pick up only.

It looks great in pictures, even standing back a bit- but closer inspection you will see these items.The car has a kind of heavy turn over to start it up- but that's just how it starts. I also owned a Dodge Avenger, New off the lot- it started very similar. Please make note that the check engine light will show as (ON), on the dash display. Mechanically, the car is sound. Due to the age of the car and mileage our mechanic suggested an option to make our service updates that would also be both cost effective AND ensure dependability for the car.At the time of the update, the car was being driven back and forth daily to work- so it needed to be dependable. Some $$$ was put into this service update so this is much of why we are setting the price where it is- A/C needs some attention- what or how much...not sure. The fan works- we have driven this summer with the windows down. We opted to not make an investment on this as we felt it wasn't necessary for us.MILEAGE:229,900K - Don't bother to blink at this, especially with the updates- this car has some life to it. Car is sold AS IS, NO WARRANTY OR RETURN. Briefly, I want to say here that adding a claim of no warranty, and sold as is- is exactly what it is and just what others do- protect themselves. It is to my knowledge and belief this car is a solid car and would also make someone else a good car. However, everyone varies in opinion and so forth. But- someone looking for the best deal they can get, someone who doesn't have a lot to spend and doesn't want to get burned... I can't offer a warranty but like I said.. if this is something your interested in.. really check the car out.. its a pretty nice car over all. The car is listed for sale locally- so it is possible I will need to end auction early if the sale is made to a local buyer. Payment: A deposit of $300.00 via paypal. Cashier's check, (will confirm address after sale), The check must clear my bank before release of title and car. Full Payment is expected within 7 days of sale date. IF picking up the car- We will arrange a day and time convenient for both parties.We will meet first at my local bank, to clear cashiers check. Once check has cleared- we can then meet back there at the same location at the next most convenient time to deliver and sign over the car, if it will take more than a day. Dark blue with gray interior. Low miles (around or about 98,000). Good gas mileage, heat and air work, rides nice. I mainly have used it for a work car. I have had it about 1 year. There is some minor issues. It needs a flex pipe replaced on the exhaust, rest of exhaust is fine. Other then that I couldn't tell you anything else mechanically wrong with the car. The check engine light has always been on though, its an evap code and we have cleared it and it comes back on, but I was told it is no big deal. Cosmetically it has some rust. The passenger rear door has rust. It also has a little rust on the driver side rear area, but just a small patch. A few small scratches and small dents, but nothing serious. Would be a great first car for a teen or as a work car or whatever you can think of! Asking 1900.00. Have not driven the car but maybe 2 times in about a month now.
