Selling my beloved Shamoo. I don't want to sell it, but I need to move on to a smaller van as my business model has changed. I used it to move furniture for restoration- its worked great for me for years. The padded walls are built-it moving blankets. Unfortunately, I do not have the seats, but I recently saw several on eBay for sale, They ARE available. The van accepts 3 rows of seats (see photos). These vans have a colt following and have been huge in Europe for decades; now they are the #1 van to own in the U.S. The Mercedes 2.7liter In-Line 5 cylinder motor is one of the best engines ever made, most will say they are even better than the current V6- NCV3 vans have. It should easily drive 500-700K miles before needing rebuilding, in fact, I have a lot of friends with these vans that still drive their sprinter everyday with over 500,000 miles on it. This diesel motor consistently brings 17-20MPG, with a good combination of highway and city miles. The van is made by Mercedes Benz, and sold through Dodge in 2004. Mine has 232,427 miles as of right now. Since this is my daily driver, I will put several more miles on it before it sells. I am the second owner of this van.Clear title in my name, no liens. The van has an UPGRADED SOUND system that runs CD's and plays DVD's. I have installed a BACKUP CAMERA for safe baking up, it comes on when you put the van in Reverse. The van has a class III TRAILER HITCH with the 4-prong wire hookup. I can put a 32' extension ladder in between the seats, and I have 14'-3" between the back of the seats and the back door. I've added LED CARGO lighting so you can see anything you need to find at night. I have moved the entire contents of a house with this van alone. It can haul anything!The van runs great, with no mechanical issues- I drive it everyday, and would not hesitate to jump in and drive it to California right now. There are a few cosmetic things in the paint that can be fixed. Since I don't have the seats, I hope to sell this to someone who wants a nice looking work/cargo van. Worried about the windows? cut 6 pieces of plywood to block them out. I personally have dropped chairs, dressers, hand trucks and myself into the windows and I've never broken any of them. The floor mounts for the seats become convenient tie down points for furniture, tools, etc. This van has the optional Espar Heater Booster, to help you get the van warm inside during the winter. The rear door has been re-enforced with a steel L bracket, to ensure longevity of the doors. They need to be greased and lubricated, and the Sliding Door mechanism replaced before you can operate the Automatic Lock/Unlock. This van has the optional rear air conditioning, but to save on gas mileage, I have taken off the belt which drives it. The fan works fine, but it will not cool down until you reinstall the belt.
