This was a project I bought recently, But I have changed my mind and decided to finish another one instead. I did drive it home, and the 360 runs good and the automatic shifts good, It needs a lot of little things. Carb. overhaul, floor carpet, minor door panel repainting and upholstery, the very top of the windshield has some sealer from a leak, The steering column is doing the "fish" thing, that means its flopping around from bushing or bearings being worn out inside, a very common problem for these years, This is the worst problem it has and you can find columns on ebay for around $250, most of the other things are cosmetic details. It has A/C, but I never checked it for operation, the power window on the drivers side isn't working. The Carb is an Edelbrock and is probably just gummed up from sitting with old gas in it. The engine runs real strong and sounds good. Most of the paint looks original with some minor touchup spots I noticed, no rust that I could see, it's a super solid truck and a great project for the home type mechanic. I listed the worst things and the most obvious problems, but with any older vehicle, you must figure checking the operation of the brakes, minor oil leaks, and all the normal maintenance items.
