This one is completely rust free (see underside photo) it runs and drives excellent. Has a brand new $1500 clutch, new shocks, 6 new tires ($1700) 2 brand new 1000 CCA NAPA batteries, we inspected the brakes, serviced the oil, fuel/air, filters etc. This truck needs nothing but a bed of your choice and a job to do, it is ready to work.Options and Drivetrain: Equipped with a very strong 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel engine, 6 speed manual transmission, factory exhaust brake, 4WD. The gray cloth interior is clean, non smoking, equipped with tilt, tint, cruise control, AC, tilt out tow mirrors, seating for 6 and everything works as it should.This is a very clean truck, straight body, will represent you well on the jobsite.Though in excellent overall condition, this is a used 8 year old van and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback.There are some small holes in the dash from previous communication equipment and a few lightly soiled areas as you would expect in a work truck (see photos) Every big Dodge/Sterling 5500 we have bought/sold has had a small red security light blinking on the dash and this one is no exception. It does nothing, is a common issue (the guys at our local Sterling dealership laugh about it) it affects nothing but should be mentioned. There is some damage to the driver's side sun visor (see photos) I'm sure there are some little dings, scratches etc as you would expect on a work truck but nothing that is worth taking photos of.Please call me with questions or offers. The Story: This Dodge 5500 dually truck was part of a fleet we purchased in Northern Colorado, was very well serviced and maintained. I drove this truck 200 miles home, over Red (11000 ft) Mountain pass, pulling a flatbed trailer stacked with a 1/2 ton 4WD truck so I feel that I can say with confidence this truck runs and tows excellent, a powerhouse, I was impressed.This truck is in great shape, the cab body is straight and clean, it's tight, drives excellent and has tons of power. Sorry for the dirt and grime, I was in a hurry to list this rig and didnt slow down long enought to wash it off. Options and Drivetrain: Equipped with a very strong Cummins 6.7L engine, auto transmission, factory exhaust brake, an Air Dog II fuel air separation system, a cold air intake with washable air filter, 4WD, receiver hitch, a nice flat bed, head ache rack, goose neck hitch and more. Inside is equipped with power windows, locks, cruise, ice cold AC, heated fold out tow mirrors, a massive Ranch Hand front bumper, non smoking and everything works as it should. What We Have Done: We inspected the brakes, gave it a fluid service with new oil, oil filter, fuel filter etc. This truck needs nothing, is job site/work ready. If you're local and a serious cash buyer I urge you to take this truck for a test drive. Make me a reasonable offer and you will own this truck. The Story: This Sterling Bullet Dodge 5500 dually crew cab truck was part of a fleet we purchased in New Mexico, was very well serviced and maintained. This truck is in great shape, the cab body is straight and very clean, never any rust of any kind, please see photos of underside. I've driven this truck more than 75 miles, it's tight, drives excellent, no squeaks or rattles and has tons of power. If you need this truck as a cab and chassis only we can work something out to remove the bed and discount the price. Options and Drivetrain: Equipped with a very strong Cummins 6.7L engine, auto transmission, 4WD, class 5 receiver hitch, new heavy duty shocks front and rear, all six tires match and are in very good shape.
