Up for sale is a 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Crew Cab with the 5.9L Cummins 24 Valve Turbo Diesel. This vehicle was used as a work truck. It is in excellent running condition. We have driven it back and forth from Nebraska to Arizona several times with no issues at all. In fact, the last trip made to Arizona averaged around 21 MPG at 75 MPH. There really is no reason to sell it other than the fact that the market has slowed down greatly in our industry and we are reducing our fleet of any unneeded vehicles and trailers. Allow me to provide you with some of the basics on this 1 ton Cummins Dodge. At the time of this posting, there are 211725 miles on the truck. If you're a Cummins lover, you know that is low mileage. I've see these engines run 500K or better. If you take care of it, the truck will probably fall apart before the engine does. This truck has power windows, locks, mirrors, and driver's seat. It also has a CD player and the other standard basics, like A/C. It also has a gooseneck hitch in the bed of the truck. However, being a work truck, there are some cosmetic issues. Take a look at the pictures, I tried to capture everything. The front bumper has a dent, as does the rear bumper. The front edge of the dash, just behind the steering wheel is broken, but it is hidden by the dash cover. The A/C - Heater Blend door is broken and needs to be replaced. It is broke in the cold position so you get nice A/C but no heat. Since this is a 2WD work truck that we only drove during the hot summer months, this wasn't an issue for us and we never fixed it. The cup holder that folds up into the dash needs to be replaced. It folds down and holds your drinks, but the arms that hold the drink in place broke off. I am unsure if the arms can be replaced or if the whole assembly needs replacing. The tailgate is a tan color because the original tailgate got hit by a piece of machinery. There is a small ding in the tailgate, but other than that and the color it is excellent condition. There is some paint fading around the top surfaces of the truck. This truck was originally from Arizona and the hot summer sun baked the paint pretty good. The truck has a low reserve. I'll give you a hint, it is set at the low blue book value of the truck. Based one blue book's condition quiz, this truck would fall in the good category. Here is another hint: The engine for this truck, alone, has a salvage value of approximately 5K. We know we could probably get more for it, but we want someone to get a smoking deal on a 1 ton Cummins truck. This truck is sold as-is. There are no warranties implied or stated. A deposit of $500 is due at the auction's end via paypal. The buyer will have 14-days after auction's end to pay the balance and pickup the truck. This rig starts, sounds, rides and drives just like it did when purchased new. This is a Auto Check shows this rig has had zero accident or damage reports and has been in Arizona since day one. This means ZERO, ZERO RUST. The sides/bed are laser straight with no signs of bondo or previous repairs and the paint still shines. For sale is a Maroon 2003 dodge 3500 quad cab 2 wheel drive manual transmission 5.9L Diesel for sale. This truck runs and drives fine. It recently had a new clutch and carrier bearing put in it. It DOES have a problem starting. It recently acquired a problem and requires ether to start. I would be safe to bet that the problem is the injectors. The reason I say this is because it had this problem a couple of years ago and we had it checked out and they changed the two rear injectors and this fixed the problem. Now I assume the remainder of the injectors are out. The top of the dash is really beat up, and it has deteriorated over the years. It has a tommy lift on it and the bottom of the bed is not in the best shape. The body of the truck is in pretty good shape with the exception of some dings on it. It does have a ranch hand grille guard. The air conditioner blower is not coming on either. If your looking for a Cadillac, this is definitely not it, so don't expect something its not. For Sale we have (1) 2003 DODGE RAM 3500 Crew Cab 5.9L 24V Cummins Turbo Diesel with the 6spd manual Transmission. This truck has the leather heated seats, all power equipment, alloy wheels, ICE COLD AC. DVD Player / Cd sound system. Interior is clean, The power seat on the drivers side goes back and forth, but not up and down. Leather is in good to very good condition with some minor wear showing on the drivers seat. The passenger and the rear are in excellent condition showing little to no wear. It has 2 new batteries and starts right up. Very Clean Motor, Idles great, No leaks anywhere , no Blow By. Just a very clean good running truck. THE TRUCK IS STUCK IN REVERSE..... You can push the clutch in , to go into neutral, but no matter which gear you select, your still in reverse. You can drive the truck in reverse, just not forward. The Clutch, Pressure Plate and T/O bearing have just been recently replaced. Once again , this truck Starts and runs perfectly, no smoke, no drips, from the engine anywhere. No check engine lights, Excellent oil pressure - The transmission is the only issue.
