1999 DODGE RAM 3500 DIESEL Here I'm selling a 1999 Dodge Ram 3500 SLT Laramie Hotshot/Transport truck that was owned and maintained by a company. By any means this truck is not perfect physically but i can honestly say mechanically about one of the best I've had. With in the past 100k the engine and transmission have both been rebuild. The truck has absolutely no Blow BY and runs very very healthy. Currently the Alternator and Starter have been replaced with new items. THE PICTURES I HAVE POSTED ARE WHEN I TRANSPORTED THE TRUCK MYSELF AND THIS TRUCK DOES NOT NEED TO BE TRAILED, YOU CAN DRIVE HER HOME NO PROBLEM. This truck truly does run and drive very well. Since we have own the truck she has never once not started and runs with no smoke out the tail pipe. I have noticed on cold starts, it may take 2/3/4 Cranks to fire but once warm it fires up first crank. The truck does not have a clean body as shown but if your looking for a work truck this is definitely it! Issues I've noticed front grille is cracked/ brokenfront tires could use replacementdrivers seat is rippedprevious owner used foam around the door seals ( no clue why/ can be removed)truck is plastic dipped flat black, red is its original colorbrake light is on the dash/ emergency brake does not work These are all simple fixes that anyone with some knowledge could fix, but i repeat the engine/transimission is probably one of the smoothest running 24v's I've ever had. Posting up my truck as is since i haven't had time to get her fixed. It is a 2001 Dodge 3500 Extended Cab 4x4 Laramie Auto Dually (DRW) TRUCK. Up till not she has never gave me a issue but recently ran into some engine problems. This truck has a 5.9 Turbo Diesel Cummins Engine.The truck starts and runs but smokes white (large amount) and i can see oil coming out the exhaust.Also i do hear some bottom end noise coming from the motor. Id suggest the motor be replaced and there are several online for 1000-1500.00Overall The body of the truck is in good shape but i had plastic dipped the truck and am still in the process of peeling it all off. Should have this down by the weekend. But as said overall in Great shape for its age. The only body damage is on the passenger door near the bottom as shown in the picture.This truck is easily worth 8-10,000 with replacing the motor, i plan to do so but at this moment I'm considering on selling it.Features Full 4" Turbo back exhaust, Chipped ECU, Gauges, And Banks Hi Ram Intake Elbow.The tailgate is not included as i don't have one for it.If you have any questions please feel free to ask..
