Very nice condition Power Wagon, this would be a great restoration project. Motor is a 1979 318, truck has been converted to 12 volt. Seat has been recovered box wood is new, all the brakes and wheel cylinders are new. Runs excellent and can be driven on the highway. Too much to list it is must see if your looking for a restoration this is it! Please message me if interested. Western plow and oem winch are also part of the sale as seen in the pics. I bought this from a gentlemen in Dallas Texas late last year. I bought it sight unseen and assumed I found a deal of a lifetime. Upon delivery I realized quickly that this is a project and a half. Greg, the trucks owner said he would take it back and 4 or 5 months later after numerous shippers give him the run around we agreed to just sell it from my driveway. He will be providing the Texas title to the new owner. I can not tell you a lot about it but hopefully the photos help. The motor does not run and all parts included are shown in photos. Great Running 1953 Power Wagon. Formerly a Military Truck the vehicle was procured by the Hackensack, Minnesota Fire Department during the early 1980s. They Painted it red, placed cherry on top and Fire Department Logo on the Doors. Approximately 11 years ago, a local resident of Hackensack, Minnesota purchased the vehicle from the Fire Chief/Department and had possession until I purchased it from him. While in the possession of the Hackensack Fire Department, the original engine blew. The Fire Department installed a V-8 360 Cubic Inch Dodge motor from a pickup truck and installed a 2 Speed Torque Flite Transmission which it continues to have today. This vehicle runs GREAT and Shifts Great. There are NO RUST HOLES in the steel body. The red paint is flaking in areas. The interior including the bench seats is in excellent condition. The front windshield folds forward and the entire cab top enclosure can be removed. The fuel tank has been replaced, the fuel line cleaned and the engine completely tuned up. As she is a Former Military Vehicle there is No Title. I will provide all of the paperwork that I possess including the bill of sale from the Fire Chief. This truck is a work horse and located in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. Please feel free to inspect or have someone come by to inspect. She is not perfect, but I am not asking a large sum. Seeking $3800.00 or offer. Some of the photographs enclosed were taken prior to the vehicle being cleaned up. We have removed the Cherry, but still have possession, as the seal around the edges was deteriorated. We have removed the brush guard, but still have possession. The "shadow" logos on the doors have been removed. Again, this is a work horse with a lot of potential and known history. Drives/Shifts great. Please feel free to ask any questions. Drive her on the Beach, to the beach, in the woods, desert, pull stumps from the ground or pull a Huge yacht, she will do it all. The 4X4 Drive Functions. She is geared low. 1980 short bed 4x4 locking hubs. new 360, 727&trans converter, &;transfer case, less than 10 k on drive train. new rims and tires, new exhaust and headers . Reciently install a Mopar purple cam 474 lift. Cams real nice .
