Im selling this car for a friend of mine but I know the car quite well. What we have here is a 1962 Dodge Polara 500 that has been restored to very high professional standards. Money was not the object when restored but to make it one of the best and the pictures will show it. Just about any thing that could be replaced or rebuilt has been done.. It has been restored approx 5-6 years and has been used very seldom since. As my friend has other cars also. It is equipped with the 413 CI motor and equipped with dual 4 barrel carbs (2X4), 2 Edelbrock 500 CFM carbs. Engine runs very good and is very peppy, starts right up. It does have a mild cam which helps for a nice sound. Rebuilt 391 gears in the rearend,.Transmission is a rebuilt 727 push button in the dash. Rebuilt power front disc brakes, power steering. The rims and tires are a recent addition with very few miles on them. Fronts are 15/6s and rears are 15/7s. All the chrome was done in the resto as well as all the stainless was buff to a mirror finish. The paint on the car has no defects and we just had the front lower valence repaired and refinished a we saw a couple of flaws in it. Interior is perfect including the headliner. Dash is perfect. Looks like brand new in side including all the fuzzys along the edge of the windows.All door rubbers and trunk rubbers are new. Engine is detailed to the max Inside of trunk is detailed. The underside of this car is about as nice as the top all painted out and very clean.This car has been a trophy winning car at all shows where judging is involved and that includes all Mopar shows. I have probably missed something but if more info is needed just email me or call me.This is a beautiful that is rare in its design and style, you dont see these at the shows hardly ever. It certainly draws the crowd, it is very different. If your in the market for something a little different that needs nothing but a new owner this is the car. 1972 DODGE POLARA 4-DOOR SEDAN Selling a 1972 Dodge Polara sedan I bought for a friend to perform a would be police car project for him to reimburse me on though he failed to tell his over controlling wife who doesn't work about this venture and she wouldn't let him accept it. The result is now I ended up with the Polara and need to sell it just to recoup my money I spent on it. The Dodge spent all it's life in the salt free environment of Washington State and was well kept up. The Polara still bears it's light green metallic paint and vinyl roof. The body seems very clean and solid with the exception of minor trauma on the lower front of the driver's fender. The underbelly was heavily undercoated when new and no signs of rust through are evident. The only rust I see is scaly surface rust under the trunk mat and where the vinyl roof peeled pack near the trunk though see no rust through. I feel a good wire wheel and some rust preventative primer would make it look nice again. Mechanically the 318 V8 engine drives nice and does not smoke at all though does have an exhaust leak on the exhaust manifold . I'm surprised for such a small V8 what great power it has for such a big car. The transmission shifts smooth and steering is good. Brakes need work, new shoes, and possibly a master cylinder, please repair these items before driving the car and replace the tires as well due to they are cracking in the sidewalls. All the glass looks good and surprisingly the fabric on the seats look great however the dash pad is cracked and the heater and wiper switch don't seem to activate. The headlights and turn signals work fine and the Polara appears to have new shocks as well. This Polara would make an excellent police car replica candidate and hope it does! :) If you have any questions or need any more photos at all just let me know . The Polara is sold AS IS & WHERE IS and buyer is responsible for all transportation costs and pick up. If you are arranging a transport truck to pick up the Polara there is a shopping mall parking lot not far away with plenty of room to load it (Totem Lake Mall in Kirkland WA). Remind the carrier that the brakes are not good, the Polara does stop, though the brake pedal needs to be pumped a few times and the shoes are bad. Again these must be replaced ASAP if you plan to drive the Polara soon. Also, if you are a - or 0 bidder contact me first before bidding or your bid will be canceled no exceptions. Farm Fresh, 1967 Dodge Polara 2 door Hardtop All trim in tact including original wheel covers.I have the engine and transmission but they are not together and are not in the car.I enclosed a picture of the engine block casting number. I know its a 318 but not sure if its numbers matching or if its any good. There's no obvious holes or cracks in the block but it has been sitting disassembled for some time.The heads are bare - no valves or rocker arms. All glass is in the car but the windshield is cracked.Body is straight except for a couple minor dings. It does have rust in the rear quarter panels.It just a great Mopar roller chassis, ready for your hemi. I do not have the title, it will be sold on a bill of sale.You will need to pick up the car or arrange for shipping.

I am the second owner of this car. Only has 76609 original miles, garage kept most of its life. Since owning it, I've replaced original fan with electric fan, added Mopar Performance valve covers and air cleaner. 4 brand new Cooper tires. I have electronic ignition set up, just needs distributor. I currently have stock distributor set up now. Dual flowmasters installed straight from engine on back. 2 barrel replaced with a Carter Thermoquad 4 barrel. Absolutely no rust. Any rust that did exist was repaired. Vinyl top has no rips or tears. Dash, floor, seats and headliner are in immaculate condition. Radio does not work due to fuse being used to run electric fan. Wipers in great condition. Everything runs and drive as it should. Perfect candidate for a big block.
