I am selling all my hot rod parts check out all my other auctions for cars and parts. This however is my dad 1947 All original Dodge pick up. My dad purchased this truck in 1994 in Maryland and the truck came from a dealership in Baltimore. After we got it we drove to were the dealership used to be and saw the old Dodge sign painted on the building. The truck is just like it came from the dealership that day. It is not missing a rear bumper it was ordered without one. The turn signals were added in the 60's to keep it street legal. The truck has been kept indoors its entire life. We have done nothing to it since we bought it in 94 except maintain, Points, grease, change oil ect. We did last year replace all the brake lines, shoes and overhauled master cylinder. My dad does not feel comfortable driving it anymore because of his age. I got everything in great running order last year to sell but got to busy. However I do not have time to drive it either and we feel as a family it is time for her to find a new home. We were told the truck has been painted once. Paint is in great shape but there is wear here and there. No real patina in the paint. It is solid and looks like it was just done. It just has some scratches and nicks. The fenders are black and body is blue. The truck drives and shifts fantastic. I love the truck and want to keep it,but I have 3 hotrods to drive not to mention 4 work trucks to maintain. The front windshield rolls out and let in a nice breeze. Everything works except the speedo. Now I know it did work 5 years ago and I estimate that maybe 300 miles have been put on it since then. The bottom is as it looks and has almost 0 rust other than exhaust pipe. It needs nothing and is in my mind restored. The current trend in the collector market is to keep car as close to original as possible and this is the best of the best. Everything is original. The interior in great shape and she is ready for car shows and drives on the weekend. You can ask me any question you may have. This year dodge is very hard to find because 90 percent went off to world war II and never came back. It's rare to see a civilian version this correct, this original and mechanicaly sound. 1978 Dodge D-150 Warlock Stepside Pickup 318 V8 727 Automatic Sunroof 8-Track This is a 1978 Dodge D-150 Warlock pickup truck. This is an original Warlock, not a clone. It was purchased new locally by a friend of the family who sold it to my father just a few years ago. Through it's life it has spent very few nights outside of a garage, and was always well cared for. The truck received Ziebart rust proofing when new and has never had any rust. At the time my father acquired the truck the original paint was beginning to look tired and the stripes had faded badly.The pickup was professionally gone over and received a full basecoat/clearcoat refinish using PPG urethane in the original black pearl. Accurate reproduction stripes were installed. At the same time the original 318 was rebuilt and a 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor was installed. The 727 transmission was serviced as well, and the original General tires, still on it after all those years, were replaced with a set of new Generals. The speedometer/odometer had stopped working so a used assembly was installed. At this time it shows 64,528. I would estimate, knowing what I do, that the actual mileage is in the 85, 000 range but I can't say for sure. The truck had an aftermarket radio which I replaced with an original Chrysler AM-FM-8-track stereo. The radio works but the dial slips and the 8-track is not currently working. The truck has an aftermarket sunroof that was professionally installed when the truck was fairly new. The wooden bed floor has not been replaced and is showing its age. There are cracks and some bad spots. All of the chrome and trim looks nice though it does have normal wear & tear. The door locks need some repair as the key will not reliably unlock them from the outside. The interior is in very nice condition with only minor wear and tear. The driver seat frame is slightly loose and needs a minor repair. The original dash looks great with no cracks. The heater works, and all windows work properly. Custom exhaust was installed including functional side pipes. The truck has a good (and plenty loud) sound to it. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts very nice; I really like the feel it has, not hard but not "mushy" shifting either. All in all, this is a great truck to drive and own, and a real head turner. I inherited this truck from my father, the second owner, and thought long and hard about keeping it. Since I don't have the time or space to devote to it, I've decided to find it a new home. This is being sold, of course, as-is with no warranty. I have a 1985 Dodge W250 deemed Power Ram. It has a 360 motor and 727 tans. JUST FIXED the shop I took it to told me it was the starter solenoid and it has been replaced. The truck runs and drives great. The motor and trans are very strong. The brakes were completely redone before I bought it. Overall mileage is around 114k. This is a mud/project truck and is not perfect so bear that in mind! It is sitting on 33 in tires with a good amount of tread left. It has an aftermarket edelbrock performance intake manifold and edelbrock 4 barrel carb. The four wheel drive also does not work, I was told all it needs is a new vacuum switch. The exhaust is straight pipe with a cherry bomb. The body is also in pretty good shape for the age of the vehicle. There is a hole in the drivers side floor pan that needs to be patched, but does not inhibit the ability to drive it. There is a small spot of rust on the cab corner and on the rocker panel of the driver side. Asking 3500 obo need it gone asap.
