1930 Dodge Brothers Tanker Original 6 Cylinder 78hp Engine Restored in the early 2000s Up for sale is a 1930 Dodge Brothers 1 ton truck. I'm selling the truck for a family to help settle an estate. Photo's where taken on 01-03-2016 and the truck is currently in storage in Voorhees NJ 08009. Truck has a clean Georgia transferable registration and notarized bill of sale that I have possession of and will be released upon full payment. The family informs me that the truck was restored in the early 2000's and was used in local parades and advertising in the town of Nitro WV. They had multiply property's and all there vehicles where registered in Georgia. Upon pickup I installed a new 6 volt battery and with no surprise the truck started and was driven onto the trailer. I have cleaned the truck and I'm sure it would clean up more and would be a great truck to enjoy as-is. I drove the truck once I got home and the brakes got weaker and will need servicing. To my surprise dodge was using hydraulic brakes on there trucks in 1930. Also I cant seem to figure out how to turn the lights on, I believe its one of the dials on the steering wheel but not sure. Runs and sounds really good, I can send a video if you would like to see it running. Nice paint. There's no rust or rust repair to be found on the truck. All tires hold air, front tires look never and rear tires have dry-rot. Drivers door glass is cracked. Please review the photo's and ask questions.
