Maryland Inspected 2004 Dodge Neon SXT. As you can see, this is a nice vehicle. It is finished in dark gray and the paint looks good. It has a mile deep shine that looks good from any angle. There are a few scuffs and dings consistent with an 11 yr old car but it looks great overall (see pictures). There is a small dent by the right rear door but other than that, all of the body lines are smooth and even. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well. Please take your time and review each of the photos carefully. The interior of this Neon is in great condition for its age. The Gray cloth interior compliments the gray exterior and shows well. The dash is clean and has no cracks, faded spots or excessive wear. The carpets also show well throughout the interior. The door panels are clean and intact. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The seats are clean and comfortable. The trunk is also clean and well kept. This Neon comes with one key. The heat and air condition work properly. The original radio has a CD and the speakers sound great. This car was well cared for. Mechanically, this Neon is in great running and driving condition. The 2.0 liter engine starts easily and runs smoothly (oil just changed). There are no leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension is nice and tight as it should be. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes are strong and stop this vehicle with no problems. Her road manners are excellent. The engine keeps proper temperature and oil pressure at all times. There have been no warning lights on. She drives down the road confidently and feels solid. The engine makes good power and gets good gas mileage. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts as it should. Out on the highway, this Neon cruises effortlessly. This is a Dodge Neon Electric car conversion made with components from Canadian Electric Vehicles in Vancouver. I did the conversion in 2013. You can check out their website for the conversion details. Using a AC 50 electric motor with a 650 amp controller and the stock 5 spd trans this thing can really move. Safety disconnects and inertia switches installed. Electric heater-(not hooked up),vacuum pump for brakes,manual rack, gauge package for monitoring batteries, motor and 12v aux battery.Chargers for battery bank and 12v battery. 9 duracell deep cycle gel batteries run the motor at 115v. 1 gel battery for the heater. 6 batteries under rear seat and 3 under the hood. With this battery/motor combination i do about 10 miles on half a charge. I take the kids back and forth to school in it. With Lithium batteries the range would be significantly greater.
