2003 Dodge intrepid. Runs good. Tight exhaust, very powerful 3.5 liter 260 horse power motor. This is a 24 valve motor. Tires are at least 40%. The leather seats in front have some cracking, the rear are like new. The a/c is cold. The transmission shifts normal. The brakes are good, 50% or so. The battery is brand new, the wipers are new. There are no service lights on. Problems: The digital climate control lcd back light is burned out (or a fuse) but the climate control operates as it should ( you just cannot see the temp it is set to). There possibly is a cd stuck in the cd changer (the 6 cd lights flash). The radio operates as should. There is a dent in the rear right back bumper, also a dent in the drivers side door (see pics) There was paint spilled in the trunk. This was my wife's car for 6 years then my daughters car for 5 years. We were the second owners. The engine long block was replaced by our dealer at 35,000 miles. This motor only has about 65,000 miles on it. I am selling it to make room in my driveway. This is probably the best car for the price. The roof has a little clear coat issue, but not bad. I am the second owner-smoke free environment. This would be a good 1st car for a student or a commuter car. My husband does all of the maintenance - all records are available, title is clear. I would rate the car on the outside a 7/10 (black shows everything), interior 8/10. Along with the sale are two extra rims and winter tires. Happy to send more pictures if you are a serious buyer. You are looking at a great looking 2001 Dodge Intrepid that has 103, 717 miles. Even as a parts vehicle this vehicle is easily worth 4K++++. The silver exterior is in very decent shape and shows well. There are a few scratches on the exterior but they are minor. This vehicle drives well but it does need a realignment. The gray interior of this car is in decent shape. There are a couple of small spots on floor and the door panel is loose on the back door. The AC doesn't work but the power windows and locks do work. This vehicle doesn't have a radio installed but there are two that come with it. Also the spring on the trunk doesn't hold up so that will need to be replaced. The 3.2L V6 motor starts right up. This Dodge Intrepid will make a great economical opportunity to FIX AND SAVE as it has a lot of life left in it! I will pick you up at the Salisbury, MD airport or bus station during normal business hours or by appt.. I will provide 60 DE temp tags if needed. 2002 Dodge Intrepid ES 3.5L V6 MPI 165200 miles Leather seats in great shape with no rips just worn creases. Remote Starter Sunroof automatic sliding and pop up settings ABS Brakes (4-wheel) Air Conditioning Power -windows -steering -driver seat -Door locks (keyless entry ) Cruise control AC and heat work CD player with remote Clean title in hand Goodyear tires new in Jan 2014 currently only have 12000 miles on them NO Accidents Body is in pretty good shape has some rust under gas cap, on driver side door near bottom, and some rock chips, as well as some hail dents in a few spots. 2 Key fobs 1 remote starter, 1 actual key (I do have 2 keys ready to be programed and have instructions on how to do this yourself) RECENT WORK DONE EVAP canister and purge valve replaced and Cam Shaft sensor fixed winter 2014 Front Bearings replaced summer 2014 (have documentation) What does NOT work Car sold as is starts and runs Engine coolant leaking on back side of engine (still drives but will overheat after about 15 min of driving.) Display of climate control / direction of airflow all heat and AC still works (display needs to be sautered (I have info on this) the heat only works if you fill engine coolant up, once it leaks out it only blows cold) Rear brakes will need to be replaced soon, soft grinding noise just started. Quirks You have to push the gear shift all the way forward as many older cars require to engage it into park. Up for sale is a 1996 Dodge Intrepid ES that I’ve had since march 2000.It had like 48,000 miles on it when I bought it from the original owner in long island.Alot of work was done on the car this year so it’s totally ready to go now.I had an idle problem so I changed the Map Sensor,Idle air control valve and the throttle position sensor which cost me about $120 but it turned out to be the intake manifold gasket repaired at great kills auto for $500.So there’s 3 sensors you won’t have to bother with for along time.The car idle’s fantastic now.Also last summer I had to get 2 new front tires for like $250 and the rear tires are like new so tires are good for a long time. Also last summer 2 engine pulleys were squeaking so I replaced both and 2 new belts was probably $125.i did the work myself.i’ve been repairing cars for like 30 years but I cant fix everything. Air Conditioner and heat work great.The car has 2 power seats in front that work perfect.The car has rear AC and Heat option.All 4 brakes and rotors were changed in 2011 or 2012 when it was like mileage 62000 so the brakes still have like 10 to 15 thousand miles left on them. This car was never used to get to work and was used as a leisure weekend driving car so I only put like 1500 to 2000 miles a year on it and I used my other vehicle for long trips and the intrepid was just a backup emergency car for when the van was broken. I changed the oil twice a year every 1000 miles every spring and fall so most times the oil was coming out clean and golden so very little wear on the engine.look at free Experian's AutoCheck and you’ll see. If your going to use this car every Day to get to work I would get the transmission fluid and filter changed for like $100 cause it hasn’t been done for 15000 miles and it was done at jiffy lube which aren’t that good and don’t use the best fluids I found out. I have the clean title ready for transfer.This car is ready for another 10 years at this mileage once you get a paint job.This is a rare deal mechanic owned car.i don’t need it anymore because I needed something with more room so I got another minivan even though the trunk on this one is huge. At KBB.com the price for this one at good mechical condition is like 2850$ but because it needs a paint job I’m taking off $600.Maaco has a deal I read for $300 to paint cars on holidays and so I figured $300 preparation to paint so took off $600.It just past inspection in December.Email me threw the ebay mail system if you would like to test drive it.i’m located in zip code area 10312 eltingville annadale area staten island. I have 2 keys and 2 remotes.The has a factory alarm system.The remotes have remote trunk opening.The trunk has a full size spare tire and jack. If you find a radio for a good price i will install it for free in 10 minutes.the radio's on ebay are way too much and it shouldn't be more than $60 maybe from a local junk yard.The Power antenna is like 45$. Even though i mentioned about the transmission fluid should be changed i just wanted to assure everyone that the transmission has no problems.I'm not an auto mechanic,i fix Escalators and i'm an Electrician,but i do know how to do alot of car repairs now and started learning along time ago.I also took a class on Air Conditioning systems.You don't even really have to paint the car i recently found a website that has the touch up paint and touch up spray paint for tons of vehicles even going back to the 1930's for dodge's and this car too.Exact matched paint and the website is http://www.automotivetouchup.com/touch-up-paint/buypaint Battery is great starting every weekend and just when it was 15 degrees !
