The Dart received a much larger engine for compartment to make room for the new V8 option which included a variety of trick GTS V8 options. The GTS weighed in at less than 3,000 lbs and could be had with the 383 engine with a 330 horsepower version available in 1969. Take that, Nova SS! These specially equipped cars came with highflow exhaust systems, the Rallye suspension and the unique color palette available with the MOPAR line up. Dodge made some suspension changes to the GTS when the 383 was ordered including a larger front torsion bar and front sway bar, as the power was on the high side for these smaller bodied cars. This 1969 Dodge Dart GTS is a super sleeper equipped with the potent 383 CI 330 HP engine, heavy duty 727 transmission and 8/34 rear end. The car has just test miles on it since a complete rotisserie restoration back to original specification. It is beautifully finished from top to bottom and ready for your collection. The car comes with the build sheet and original fender tag. The GTS is finished in Dark Green Metallic over a body that was stripped down to bare metal and completely redone on a rotisserie. The paint is a base/clear job that has a fine polished shine to it and the body is very straight. The chrome on the car is new, and all of the trim which was removed for paint was polished before it was put back on the car and looks wonderful. Even the often neglected wing windows were rechromed. All of the rubber trim on the vehicle is new from front to rear and the doors and trunk close with ease. The engine is not the born-with motor but is date code correct for the car. The motor was just completely rebuilt as was the 727 transmission and 8 3/4 rear end. The engine compartment is immaculately detailed and features all of the correct lines, hoses, clamps and finished. The VIN of the car is stamped on the radiator support. The interior is all new and features the correct factory color. The car was originally ordered heater delete from the factory! I guess someone was going straight to the track! It now has brand new Vintage Air A/C. The seat covers have excellent fitment as does the headliner and dash. It also has brand new seat belts in the front and back. The car has the correct solid state AM radio as it did from the factory and it is in good working order. All of the gauges work as they should as do all of the interior and exterior lights. I'm selling my project 1967 Dodge Dart GTS. This is an original factory 383 / 4 speed car, 2 door hardtop. The original engine is not with the car, but it has the original VIN of LP23H72329***. According to the GTS Registry, there are only 18 '67 GTS models with a factory 4 speed known of with 249 of them originally made.The body of this car is very straight and the only major body issue are a couple of holes that were drilled for CB antennas in the rear quarter panels. Beyond that, the front inner fenders were cut for headers and the rear was tubbed.The car is virtually rust free and is in excellent shape to start on. Most of the original interior is inside the car, including the black door panels that say "DART GT". I also have replacement black carpet, a couple of front floor panels, a black headliner and some other various interior pieces and other parts that I picked up. Unfortunately, money and other priorities are going to prohibit me from finishing this project. I have an additional 67 Dodge Dart in my possession (2-door post slant six model) that has a complete dash assembly, fender wells, rear wheel wells and trunk that can be negotiated.Please e-mail me if you are interested or have any questions.

Here is a gorgeous survivor!!!1968 Dodge Dart GTS with the original 340 4V "LA" High Performance , 4 speed transmission and the Hurst shifter it came with. Sure grip rear end. A highly optioned car that was ordered in with P.S. P.B. Full tinted glass, AM Radio, drip mouldings, body belt mouldings, wheel lip mouldings, horizontal stripe, LH outside Chrome remote mirror, fender mount turn signals, console and buckets , HB vinyl seats, GG1 monotone racing green with lighter green interior, 4 speed transmission, sure grip posi rear end, rear defogger, undercoat, light package, redline tires, front and rear bumper guards, and more. U1 CAR. ORDERED FROM FACTORY. Came with the dog dish hubcaps and steel wheels which I still have, however , I like the full mag type hubcap which is what you see on the car now. The others are in the trunk. I have original owners name that purchased the car when it was ordered in. I have the build sheet , owners information and this can be sent to Galen Govier to give you authenticity and a certicard. The car has the original parts to the car. This is what you call ( close to ) a true numbers matching car. The engine with 74,569 miles on it runs like new and has never been out of the car. Original transmission that is flawlessalong with the Hurst spaghetti type shifter that has no rattles and shifts as smooth as it did when new. Original manifolds, radiator, and carburetor. It doesn't get much better then this. Had the car in the body shop 3 1/2 years ago where it was stripped to bare metal and painted the original color when it came from the factory. I spent a fortune to get it to perfection. Also put 4 brand new redline tires ( radial type) which are not original. Came with bia ply but it rides so much better with radials. All components are intact and operable on this fine example. The black paint on the rear Chrome attached to the trunk lid needs to be re- freshed . I'm getting to retirement and I'm selling off my collection of cars. I'm a fussy car guy that looked for 5 years before finding this car like most of my collection. If you can find a better one you should buy it. This is 1 of 1281 that came from the factory with the 340 cu.in. 4 speedHow many are left in this condition with the whole history , unmolested and intact. Like I said I have the history from new on this car. It is a real one. No disappointments , just a fine rare car.
