1998 Custom Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4I have owned it for the past 4 years and purchased it from the original owners. It is the top edition with all bells and whistles including the tow package with upgraded brakes. I have never used it for towing and the family I bought it from said they didn't either -- they used the truck to pick up firewood and stuff like that. I use it for home improvement projects and makes it easy to get anything needed from home depot etc. It has a 6.6 ft bed. It has the excellent v8 5.2L 318 motor and 5 speed transmission (Rare Package). 193,000 miles - no accidents. I have owned it for the past 5 years.I have customized it and done many upgrades and added new parts. All stickers, etc were removed and truck is a matte black (flat black) -- it was originally black from the factory. I have the original factory premium rims and tires painted gloss black (which have about 50-60% tread left).Aftermarket headlights (halo effect) and taillightsNew aftermarket fog lights(4) Custom rims with almost new tiresI have the premium (4) stock rims and tires as well (painted in black)New shocks and brakes all around.Tune up -- plugs, wires, distributer cap, rotor, etc. Front bullbar (can be removed)Replaced front axle & wheel bearingsReplaced steering column shaft New alternator, battery, terminals, ground wires, and the solution was a new crankshaft timing senor ( I was chasing an intermitting starting issue which was the senor -- so all new extra parts your gain and my loss.I definitely have done more parts and stuff but cant remember.The only issue I know about is I dont know if the A/C works or not -- the belt on it bypasses the A/C so not sure if the prior owners did it on purpose or not -- I never looked into it because the pass summers here haven't been very hot. Title is clean and clear and in hand. You get both set of rims and tire packages and whatever extra parts and pieces I have that go with the truck.

Here is a 1993 Dodge Dakota Sport X-Cab 2-Door Pickup. V-6 3.9 liter, Manual Transmission, 222,306 miles, still runs well (see possible problems below). I am the original owner from 1993 (bought it brand new), so please email me with any questions you may have on its history. I am not a mechanic so I can not give you too much help in that department. Runs well, still could drive long distances or on freeway without any problem if needed. If you are a mechanic and or need original parts or looking for something to fix up for a local commute or hauling, this could be right for you. Sold as is, here are the main issues that it has: - CLUTCH?: It sometimes (not all the time, usually when starting cold for first time) has problems at start up getting into gear or shaking, have not had this checked out, decided to sell before I put money into it. I am thinking that it has something to do with clutch (haven't put in a new clutch for a long time.) Could be something else minor or major, am not sure. BUT, Never has problems starting, and all I have to do if it shakes is turn it off and start it up again then it engages and no problems after that. Once in gear it has no problems shifting or going in reverse or any issues at all once driving. Still has a lot of power, no engine problems in its life span. This has been the first major issue this truck has had in over 220,000 miles! I just can't tell you for sure if this is going to be a major fix or a minor one. Real mystery to me, but I have been driving it like this for the past 5 months, with no increasing issues. Maybe you have more knowledge on the subject. - DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR: will need to be replaced, the mechanisms inside have completely bent out of shape or have come off. Door will not shut. I have taped the door shut so that it wont open while driving. I enter in and exit through the passenger side. Have been doing it this way for about 6 months. Again not sure how much it would cost to find another door and get it replaced, but someone with that skill should be able to do that. - BODY DAMAGE: There is no major body damage, have never been in an accident or even a fender bender with this truck, but it does have many dents, scrapes, body wear around the vehicle. (Please see scan) This truck has worked hard and has hauled a lot of things throughout its life span, so it has the appropriate amount of wear for a truck this old and its use. - PAINT: Typical of the early 1990 Dodge Dakota manufacturer paint jobs, the pain has come off and has rusted on roof and some on hood, sun fading etc... as well. - FRONT LIGHT: parking light beneath the head lamp broken on drivers side (see scan). - PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR: is missing, has fallen off - INTERIOR UPHOLSTRY: There are some rips and tears in cloth, and ceiling upholstery is hanging down from roof. * POSITIVES: Like I mentioned before this truck has been in my possession since it came off the original lot in 1993, NO major damage, NO major service, I have been changing the oil and giving it regular maintenance every 3,000 - 5,000 miles for its life.
