1956 dodge coronet/Lancer. Clean and smooth. HEMI with a pushbutton 3 speed. Leather interior is mint. Chrome/stainless is really nice. Wheels and tires are new. Paint is in good condition. All around solid, rust free vehicle. I can put 12" discs up front for a cost. Oh did I mention its got a Hemi??!! Turn key situation here fellas, interior is from an older restoration, nice tuck and roll. This is not a fast car, but smooth n low. Great for cruising and a nice bench seat so she can slide on over. 8 track but I could throw in a sound system. I didn't want to go that route for the guys that keep it original looking. generator rebuilt. Price is OBO.

This 1956 Dodge Coronet Lancer is in wonderful shape, re-done from top to bottom. Underneath is as clean as the top, likewise the engine compartment is very clean. There are no dings, no rust, it is in great shape. I can't think of anything more that can be done to this vehicle to improve it. It is a real gem to be added to anyone's collection. Cash only. Nice 56 Dodge Coronet with a newly rebuilt 270 Poly engine. Runs great and has approximately 1500 miles since rebuild. It has two issues that need to be explained. While at the 2015 Lonestar Roundup the transmission started losing high gear. It will shift into high and then go in and out of gear. I had drove it to the Roundup with no problems but something has gone wrong with the high gear. May need rebuilding but I am not sure. Also, the left hand exhaust manifold has broken. I had the same problem about 2 years ago and had it welded up but the exhaust got banged loading it on a trailer and the manifold broke in the same location again. Other than those two things, I have been driving this almost daily and have had no problems with the car. I have been looking at other projects and need to sell this one to provide funding for others. I just finished the complete rebuild of the dash panel, gauges and wiring. I have painted the dash and rewired it including adding a fuse box. I have all photos of the engine and interior rebuilding. Floor pans have been replaced with heavy steel. Engine and front clip has been rewired also. Body is in need of some work or leave it as is. Interior is in very good shape. The car is completely original with the exception of the radio and wheels. I have the original wheels and hub caps that originally came with the car. This is a real head turner and gets a lot of compliments. When I go to a car show I never see another car like this. ORIGINAL 1957 DODGE CORONET LANCER SWEPT WING, THIS CORONET IS A SURVIVOR WITH ONLY 45,121 MILES WEARING MOST OF IT'S ORIGINAL TWO TONE PAINT. THIS DODGE RUNS ANS DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD ALMOST LIKE NEW. THE 325 CUBIC INCH AIRCRAFT-TYPE RED RAM V8 MOTOR IS QUIET AND POWERFUL, AND THE FULLY AUTOMATIC 2-SPEED PUSHBUTTON TORQUE-FLITE TRANSMISSION WORKS LIKE NEW. THE INTERIOR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, IT HAS NEWER CARPETING, THE DOOR PANELS ARE EXCELLENT, THE HEADLINER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, THE SEATS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.. THE DASH BOARD IS REALLY NICE WITH ALL GAUGES WORKING,THE SPEEDOMETER IS IN EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION WITH ALL OF ITS DIFFERENT COLORS,THE STEERING WHEEL IS NICE,AND HAS THE ORIGINAL AM RADIO. THE ENGINE BAY HAS ALL OF THE ORIGINAL PARTS AND LOOKS GOOD, COULD USE PAINT BUT ALL ORIGINAL. THE DRUM BRAKES AND LINES ARE ALL NEW AND IN GOOD WORKING ORDER AND IT HAS A NEW COMPLETE DUAL EXHAUST SYSTEM ON IT. THE TWO TONE PAINT IS MOSTLY ORIGINAL SHOWING SOME AGE, THE CHROME BUMPERS ARE IN FAIR CONDITION, THE STAINLESS TRIM IS ALL THERE AND IN GOOD CONDITION, AND IT WEARS IT'S ORIGINAL HUBCAPS WITH BIAS PLY WIDE WITEWALLS. THE BODY ON THIS CORONET LANCER IS GOOD FOR IT'S AGE BUT IT IS NOT PERFECT AND HAS SOME IMPERFECTIONS SUCH AS A SMALL AMOUNT OF RUST ON THE ROCKER PANELS, A SMALL HOLE ON THE LEFT REAR QUARTER PANEL IN FRONT OF THE TIRE, AND A SMALL HOLE BEHIND THE TIRE, AND SOME SIGNS ON THE EYE BROWS OF THE FENDER. THE TRUNK IS MOSTLY SOLID WITH A SMALL HOLE ON THE EXTREME LEFT FLOOR. THE FRAME IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND THE FLOORS LOOK GOOD WITH A MINOR SPOT NEAR THE DRIVERS FLOOR.
