Vehicle Overview: Stock: A382 VIN: JH23J0B308755 Year: 1970 Exterior Color: Plum Crazy Purple Make: Dodge Interior Color: White Model: Challenger Mileage: 0 Engine: 340ci Six-Pack Transmission: Manual Vehicle Description: The 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A is among the most eye-catching muscle cars ever built, period. When Dodge finally got a legitimate pony car to race in the Sports Car Club of America's Trans American Sedan Championship in 1970, it built a muscle car version for the street that was even wilder than the competition model. ‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is proud to offer you this absolutely gorgeous, frame-off rotisserie restored 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 4-Speed car finished in arguably the most beautiful color combination available in 1970 (Code FC7) Plum Crazy Purple wrapped around a stunning (Code H6XW) White Vinyl Bucket Seat Interior w/ console. They just don’t come any more beautiful than this! This outstanding 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A is listed in the ‘Challenger T/A Registry’ and was shipped from the factory with all the right stuff! According to the T/A Registry documents (see the last 2 photos) and the (2) fender tags, the car was shipped with the following factory options: LINE ONE: (E55) 340ci Engine, (D21) 4-Speed Manual transmission, (J) Car Line Challenger, (H) Price Class High, (23) Two Door Hardtop, (J) 340ci Engine w/ Six Pack, (0) 1970, (B) Hamtramck Assembly Plant, (308755) Last Six Digits of VIN. LINE TWO: (FC7) Body Paint Plum Crazy Purple, (H6XW) High Grade Vinyl Bucket Seat Interior White & Black, (000) No Upper Door Paint On E-Code Cars, (415) Scheduled Production Date April 15th 1970, (168327) Vehicle Order Number. LINE THREE: (V1W) White Vinyl Roof, (A53) Trans Am Package, (A62) Rallye Instrument Cluster Including Tachometer-Wood Grain Applique & 3-Speed Wipers, (B51) Power Disc Brakes, (C16) Center Console, (C55) Bucket Seats. LINE FOUR: (G34) Painted Racing Mirror Driver’s Side Remote, (J45) Hood Pins, (J54) Sport Hood, (J82) Rear Ducktail Spoiler, (M21) Drip Rail Moldings, (N44) Dual Side Exit Exhaust. LINE FIVE: (N85) Tachometer, (N94) Carburetor Fresh Air Package w/ Fiberglass Hood, (R35) 10-Watt AM/FM Radio, (V6H) Black T/A Side Stripes w/ 340 Six-Pack Callouts, (Y05) Built To US Specifications. LINE SIX: (26) 26” Radiator, (EN1) End Of Sales Codes. A no-expense spared nut & bolt rotisserie restoration was just completed a couple of weeks ago and the final results are nothing short of breath taking. With less than 20 test miles driven since completion, this Challenger T/A resembles a car that just rolled off of the assembly line. All of the sheet metal is absolutely laser straight all the way around the car and the Plum Crazy Purple paint is perfect w/ a deep lustrous shine. The matte black T/A hood fits beautifully, as most of these hoods are bowed on both sides. Thick side stripes, bold ID graphics, and a black ducktail spoiler round out the mean T/A look. It was decided to remove the White Vinyl Roof during the restoration process due to the owner's preference. I must say, it really does look gorgeous with the painted roof. Both chrome bumpers and the small amount of stainless trim is show quality throughout. All of the glass is brand new with no distractions whatsoever. She sits on the original Rallye wheels wrapped w/ new BF Goodrich TA radial tires. Again, this 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A looks factory fresh throughout. Open the driver’s door and you will find a perfect & factory correct White Vinyl Bucket Seat interior w/ console 4-Speed and original Rallye instrument cluster. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, etc are in perfect working order. When you slide in, wrap your right hand around the factory Pistol Grip Shifter and look out over the T/A Sport Hood, you will be taken back to an era where true American muscle cars ruled the streets! Please look closely at the photos to see how nicely this interior was restored. Remove the hood pins, and you will find a beautifully detailed engine bay featuring all factory correct components throughout, including hoses, clamps, battery, etc. Nestled inside is the correct 340ci Six-Pack motor dressed in all its glory. Despite the ‘Six-Pack’ carburetion as well as a host of internal reinforcements, the T/A's mill carried the same 290hp rating as the regular four-barrel 340s, though true output was much closer to 350hp. Feeding it air was a suitcase sized scoop molded into the pinned-down matte black fiberglass hood. Low-restriction dual exhausts ran to the stock muffler location under the trunk, and then reversed direction to exit in the chrome-tipped ‘megaphone’ outlets in front of the rear wheels. The 340ci Six-Pack motor is linked to a correct A833 4-Speed Manual Transmission, which feeds power to the factory 3.55 rear end. The motor & transmission were both completely rebuilt to factory specifications during the restoration process. She starts, idles, runs, drives & performs beautifully in every way, and has loads of power & torque. The transmission shifts smooth & precise, pulling hard through all four gears. The factory Power Steering makes driving around town effortless and the factory Power Disc Brakes gets her stopped in a hurry. The suspension on these T/A cars were a step-up from your standard 1970 Challengers. The special Rallye suspension basically used heavy-duty everything, and increased the camber of the rear springs. The T/A was among the first production cars that featured different sized tires front and rear (E60x15s up front, G60x15s in back). The modified camber elevated the tail enough to clear the rear rubber and the exhaust outlets, giving the Challenger T/A that street-punk stance. Overall, you would be very hard pressed to find a more beautiful T/A anywhere at any price, period! Whether you are looking for a show car that will win First Place trophies at any national level car event, or simply a classic muscle car that you can drive & enjoy to the fullest, this gorgeous 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A is the perfect choice! This is a 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. While it's original motor and transmission were blown up years ago, I have replaced it with a completely rebuilt 71 340 motor to like specs and a little more. I have the dyno sheet which reads 357 Horsepower. Every aspect of this vehicle has been gone through. It is a 4 speed transmission and does have the 3:55 gears in the rear end and also has a Centerforce dual friction clutch. What makes this T/A awesome, is that it is a fender tag coded V02 two tone T/A. It is one of only three that are in the T/A Registry and it is one of one in these colors. It also has the fender tag coded 4 speed transmission in which Mopar only made 949 of. It also has the fender tag coded leather interior which is rare for a T/A. Deluxe seatbelt package and a six way manual drivers seat. This T/A was professionally appraised in 2007 for $125,000. You will not ever see a two tone T/A in these colors. It does have the original fender tag, vin plate and the door vin label is the original one which came on the car. The sheetmetal has all the appropriate vin stampings. I have upgraded the stereo and speaker system. This was a five speaker car originally. Dash has been professionally refinished by just dashes and the interior is legendary leather. Although leather interior only was originally done to just the front seats, I took the liberty of having the rear seat done in the matching leather. There is a theory that these two tone T/A cars had something to do with Sam Posey wanting his original 77 T/A to have a black painted roof. AAR cars were not sold in two tone versions. This is a very rare one of one V02 two tone painted top T/A. It is listed in the T/A AAR website under rare options. It was on the front cover of Mopar Muscle in May of 2007. Truly a collector car which has a great collector car value.

1970 Dodge HEMI Challenger Pro Touring This car was built by L’Cars in Cameron, WI over a 3 year period. This was a no expense spared build that got out of hand. The guy that had it built had over $200k into the car before he ran out of money on the build. The car is street legal with all the lights and wipers working. It is a blast to drive with over 900HP to the rear wheels. The interior still needs some finishing. I have many parts to finish it off. Car is currently still on L’Cars website e-mail me for the link This project started out as a rust free Arizona car. They added a 572 cubic inch aluminum Indy Hemi, backed by a five speed transmission, with a Strange rear end Dana 60 with 4:10 gears in it. They put a AirRide Technologies Pro-E system into the car to get the right stance and a Riley Motor Sports front suspension with rack and pinion steering, and a four link AirRide suspension in the back. The Challenger also has Wilwood 6 piston power disc brakes up front and 4 piston disc in the rear. L’Cars then added a T/A hood, stripes, and rear wing to get a T/A look. They also had the 4” stainless exhaust come out the side of the car. Under the hood Specs: 572 Aluminum Indy Hemi that runs on E-85, 900+HP to the rear wheels( Video on YouTube), Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine belt system, MSD Ignition system, 400HP NOS Pro fogger Nitrous system(currently not hooked up), Aeromotive fuel delivery system, Vintage A/C system, Be Cool radiator, twin Optima batteries mounted in the trunk, built in trickle battery charging system 5Spd Trans: Tremec 5 speed, with upgrades from Liberty Gears to handle the torque of the monster HEMI, Carbon fiber drive shaft Interior: Handmade carbon fiber door panels and rear speaker enclosures, Recaro seats, Nardi steering wheel, Flaming River steering column, Autometer Cobalt gauges on carbon fiber panel, Art Morrison 10 point roll cage Body: Rust free AZ car, all original panels, no patch panels, fabricated Rear Mini tubs to fit wheels and tires, transmission tunnel hand fabricated, Electric power trunk opener, All new chrome and stainless trim, painted in Sikkens Satin Rally black with gloss black T/A stripes See below for more details on the Challenger 1970 Dodge Challenger Hemi T/A built by L’Cars in Cameron, WI ENGINE Built by Andy Weber’s Midwest Performance Type: 572 cubic inches Hemi bore and stroke:4.5” x 4.5” Block: Indy Cylinder Heads ‘Legend Maxx’ aluminum (Silver powder coated) Oiling: Milodon Pro pump, Charlie’s alum. 9qt pan, Canton 3qt accumulator, BMRE restrictors, remote CV/Pure Power billet canister and oil filter Rotating assembly: Callies Mag crank, Oliver steel rods, Trend pins, Calico bearings, CP ported 13.5 to 1 pistons, Hellfire rings, ATI damper, Rollermaster timing chain Cylinder Heads: Indy alum. Here is a fresh rotisserie restoration on a original FM3 Panther Pink T/A. This car has all of its original features including the numbers matching engine and transmission. I have a very nice buildsheet to back up every feature. This is a 4 speed car and yes it is a white interior car as well. This car was in the May issue of Muscle Machines Mag., and will be featured in a book soon to be out on Challengers. This is a no disappointment car for anyone looking for a rare Mopar. Nothing needs to be done to this car but to get in and drive. This is one of the nicest T/As in existence. This car is a attention getter for sure. I have over 200 photos of the resto and info on past owners. The engine was professionally built and dyno tested by Steve Allen Racing out of North Carolina. I have all paper work on the work and dyno. Thanks for looking and feel free to call anytime with your questions. Larry 727-871-7780 or 727-465-3101. Asking 140,000.00 possible trades with cash
