Vehicle History : Ever since I saw the first demo Challengers in the car magazines, I knew I had to get one. In May of last year, I finally found the ultimate Challenger I had been wishing for. This car was a one owner, Carfax certified, low mileage Challenger RT Classic, with the color I wanted and all the options I wanted at Hopper Motorplex in McKinney, Texas. I have never regretted my purchase for a second. Overall Vehicle Condition : My Challenger is as close to showroom condition as you can get for a car that has been driven daily for almost 5 years and 37,370 miles. This car has been meticulously maintained, pampered, and adult owned. Exterior Condition : On a scale of 1 to 10, the exterior is a solid 9. The only reason it is not a perfect 10 is there are a few rock pecks on the hood, and there is a small rock chip on the passenger door about 1/16" in diameter. There is also an abrasion on the driver's side mirror and a rock peck in the windshield. The minor imperfections are all too small to show up in a photograph. There are absolutely no scratches and no dents. The paint is as glossy as a brand new car. I have just paid to have the car professionally detailed, and the condition of the paint is obvious in the pictures. No, the pictures have not been touched up. The paint actually looks that good. I don't have to tell an experienced Challenger shopper that the Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Metallic paint with Matte Black RT stripes is a pretty rare combination. Many of the Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Challenger RT's came with a white RT side stripe. Now, this may just be a matter of opinion, but no color combination looks better on a Challenger than Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Metallic and a sinister 'ghosted' looking RT side stripe. And if you have never seen Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Metallic in the sunlight...oh boy, you are in for a treat. Interior Condition : On a scale of 1 to 10, the interior is a 9.5. No exaggeration. The only reason the interior is not a perfect 10 is there is very minor wear on the leather seats, and the floor mats are not perfect. The dash, door panels, headliner, and everything else in the interior is perfect. You can see the seats in the pictures to decide for yourself if you give the interior a 10. Mechanical Condition : This Challenger needs nothing. It is mechanically perfect. The car runs and drives just like a new car. If I had anything to bring up that I would recommend for future maintenance, I would recommend a transmission fluid and filter change as being part of routine maintenance. Warranty Recall CompleteDodge recalled all 2010 Hemi Challengers to replace the timing chain tensioner. The manual transmission leaves something to be desired when it comes to finding a gear. Let's face it. Dodge is not world renowned for their manual transmissions. The Auto Stick is simply a joy to drive. Just bump the stick to the left to downshift, and bump the stick to the right to upshift. This makes the muscle car experience as fun as it should be. Trust me. I have driven the manual 6 speed and the Auto Stick. I would go with the Auto Stick without a doubt. DynoMax Cat-Back Stainless Steel Exhaust with VT Muffler Technology $700.00 installed.You would not believe how awesome this exhaust system sounds. It rumbles at idle. It sounds mellow, but not too loud under normal driving conditions. It is quiet on the highway thanks to the VT design. And it makes the Hemi bellow like a monster when you hammer the throttle. I am so impressed with the VT technology, I am going to buy DynoMax for my next car. New Rear Tires $240.00When the front tires started showing wear, I moved the original rear tires to the front and put larger sized 275/40VR20 tires on the back. I like the 'fat tire' look that gives the car a true muscle car look. Window TintThe car was already tinted when I bought it. The tint still looks good, with no bubbling or discoloring. Zurich Extended Warranty Included! $956.00 Value!That's right. When you buy this Challenger, I will include a 5 year / 60,000 mile extended warranty from a major Warranty company. I paid $956.00 for this warranty that is transferable to the new owner. It is the "Standard" warranty from Zurich, which covers most major mechanical repairs. I have owned the car for 1.5 years and driven the car for 11,000 miles, so there are several good years left on this warranty. Now you can relax and purchase a car with no worries. Like I said, this is the one you have been shopping for. Why I am selling : Two reasons. One, I am a car nut supreme. I buy a car about every year and a half. To give you an idea of my love for cars, I traded a 2013 Mustang GT with 9000 miles for this Challenger. I recently found another Mustang GT locally that I purchased for a great price, so I am looking to sell my Challenger since I am not going to drive two cars. Second, I have a kid in college, and it is unbelievably expensive. Every time I see my kid, she is asking for more money for this, that, or the other. If you have kids, you know...
