Exterior:The car is absolutely rock solid underneath with not a single spot of rust through that I have seen. All of the original sheet metal is in great shape.The paint is what I would consider decent driver quality. It has some orange peel and some imperfections here and there but would look great with a good wet sand and buffing. There are no rust bubbles, major scratches, chips, etc.The 15" Rallye wheels are brand new, including the center caps, trim rings and Cooper Cobra white letter tires.All of the trim and bumpers are in good shape and are not beat up.The glass is all in good shape and the windows roll up and down easily.Interior:The interior is in good shape overall as well.The seat covers look good and do not have any tears, holes, etc.The carpet looks to be in decent shape.The original dash pad has some cracks and a previous owner has put a carpeted dash cover on top of the dash pad.The headliner is in good shape but the sail panels are a little loose.The original speedometer and tachometer work, as well as the fuel gauge, but there is an aftermarket oil pressure and water temperature gauge mounted under the dash.The head lights, tail lights and brake lights all work, but the turn signals do not work.The windshield wipers work like they are supposed to as well.The B&M shifter works well and is easy to get in and out of gear.Drivetrain:The engine is a very strong running 340 small block that's had some work done to it. It has an aluminum Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel intake manifold with a 650cfm electric choke Edebrock carburetor. It has a bigger cam that has a nice lope but I am unsure of the specs on it. Topping off the engine is a pair of Mopar Performance valve covers and air cleaner. It has a set of long tube headers running through dual exhaust to Flowmaster mufflers and tail pipes running out the back for a really good sound.The transmission is a 727 automatic that shifts good and doesn't slip or leak.The rear end is an 8 3/4 with what feels like 3.91 gears and a posi-trac. It runs strong from a dead stop but it's not something you want to drive across country at 80mph!Suspension:The original suspension is all in good shape and the car drives great.The power disc brakes will stop it very easily.The power steering feels light and easy to steer, like all Mopars of this era.The front and rear sway bars help with the handling and it doesn't feel like you're all over the road when you hit a bump.The car is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to remove it from auction at any time. 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T ~factory 383 N code 4-speed car~ Disclaimer: The car now has a 318 and an automatic transmission. I was not responsible, so please don’t yell at me. I acquired the car like it sits. The car is a driver that has great potential to live up to its former glory, but I don’t have the 383 or the 4-speed. EXTERIOR: The body is straight and solid. The paint is an older driver quality paint that is presentable and all one color. The car has brand new Rallye wheels and new tires. Yes, it has the wrong hood, but the original Go-Wing is intact, so 1 out of 2 ain’t bad. The car isn’t perfect, but will make a great running driving car that you can improve at your own pace. INTERIOR: The interior is older, but still in good condition and features the Rallye gauge cluster. The upholstery and door panels are in good shape with no tears or rips. The carpet looks pretty fresh as well. MECHANICAL: The aforementioned 318 and automatic transmission are no track stars, but do their job without complaint. However, the clutch pedal is still present so going back to the 4-speed would be an easy swap. The car will fire right up and idle without any fuss. Manual drum brakes and manual steering work well on this car and don’t require as much input as you’d think. Exterior:This car is super solid underneath and only has one very small spot in the driver front floor pan that has been patched. Everything else underneath looks really nice and solid.The paint is one the low end of driver quality and has some imperfections here and there. It has new 15x7" Rallye wheels, center caps and trim rings with good tires up front and new 15x8" Rallye wheels, center caps and trim rings with nice tires out back.All of the trim is in good shape with only a few little dings in a couple places.All of the glass is good and all of the windows roll up and down easily.Interior:The interior is in really good shape and looks nice in the car.The front and rear seat covers are nice and comfortable.The dash pad has one crack right in the center but is in good shape otherwise.Both door panels are in good shape.The carpet looks to be in good shape as well.All of the gauges work, including the tachometer. The casting number on the block is 2780930-340-8 and the date code is 11-22-72. The engine has really good power, great oil pressure, starts right up and does not leak or smoke.The transmission is a 727 automatic and the rear end is an 8 3/4.It is a factory A/C car but the compressor and hoses are missing from the engine bay.Suspension:The car has power steering that feels very responsive and tight.The power disc brakes up front and drums out back stop the car very easily.The car runs, drives, stops and steers great and is very easy to drive.
