This is a Texas truck originally "Lone star" edition. I have never personally driven it here in winter. I purchased it to pull my 30' camper to Florida the last two years and it did that without hesitation, never skipped a beat and Avg 13.1 Mpg doing it,68-72 mph on cruise. With that being said there is absolutely no rust. It is however a truck and has its scraps and chips,7-8/10 paint. Now, Mechanically this truck is great with many rebuilt systems. IDK what happened but, the engine required a rebuild at 170,000ish miles, I have 1000s in receipts, new turbo replaced at that time as well. So this truck runs very well with 600+ ft lb of torque, will do whatever job you need it too. I've rebuilt the front end and braking systems, completely. This truck never actually broke down on me but theses are the things I have replaced or rebuilt. New steering rack, upper and lower ball joints on both sides, sway bar link, rear axle seals while apart, new rotors, calipers and pads all the way around, starter, AC compressor great AC, all fluids and filters serviced ahead of schedule. This truck starts right up and drives great, shifts real smooth with no excessive leaks or smoke. Tires around 50% maybe more.
