1969 Charger RT/SE black on black(orig white) Show quality House of Kolors Black--. Real SE, Car was Completely restored top to bottom and front to back--Everything!. NOM 440 all completely rebuilt and detailed nicely. 5 speed Tremec, Strange Dana w/ 3:54. Restored gauges, grille. All wiring is new, rebuilt steering box. Car has electric headlight motors, 4 wheel disc brakes. All rubber and seals are new. All orig panels, except trunk pan had minor surface rust and was replaced and rhino lined along with entire interior of vehicle--This rust proof the pans and provides nice insulation and sound deadener. Front K member was powder coated black and front end is nicely detailed. . Everything is new. All new interior w/ correct Leather front seats, all gauges work and have been restored. Let me start by saying that I am selling this for a buddy that is in his late 60's. He bought this car about 6 months ago, and decided to go a different direction. The car is going to the Pomona Swap Meet this Sunday, that is why I am doing a 5 day auction. The following is what I have seen with the car and what he told me. The car is a true survivor, with 66,383 original miles.It is a rare combination car with the hideaway headlights, the bench seat, and the column shift. He is not sure if the paint is original or a re-paint. I would day the paint, for such an old car, is about an 7 or 8 in my uneducated opinion. The paint has a few small issues, but nothing that can't be fixed. The upper left fender has a few spots where it looks someone spilled some sort of fluid or sat a battery. The color code for the exterior is Y4 Gold. The front bumper is brand new. The rest of the stainless and chrome is good. The rear trim, and the trim around the wheel wells could use a little attention.The only rust I can find on the car is right in front of the wheel well on the rear left or driver side fender. I was told by the owner it is a numbers matching car.The engine is the 383 Magnum V-8, but has had the OEM intake replaced with an Edelbrock intack as well as an Edelbrock Carburetor. The car has been sitting for a while, so I would say the car needs a tuneup for sure. It starts right up, but does need either a timing check or new plugs and wires. The carb also has a small leak at the from on the screw, which I believe is where the linkage is attached. I would say this is because it hasn't been driven. Worst case it needs a new carb.If you are looking for a driver, or a car to take out on weekends then this is the car. It isn't perfect, but is in pretty good condition for its age.The car needs a radio repair and the air conditioning is there but needs a re-charge for sure. The windows are hand roll up. The front hideaway headlight doors work.The dash has two cracks that were repaired a while back for sure. The seats, carpet and headliner are in good condition. The car needs to be picked up within 3 days of auction's end. This is a cash only deal, with a deposit of $500 via Paypal. No cashiers checks, period.
