I am letting go of history.... finally selling my truck. I am the original owner, since April 1996. I have the window sticker, and many maintenance records. I have the title in hand. There have never been any performance modifications. The only non-stock items are the front bumper, fuel filter relocation, head light switch, rear sliding window, and enough body work to get me through inspection.I am selling since the state now needs 'solid' body repairs. I have been using aluminum tape for the past few years to cover the rusty parts of the body, but this year Mass RMV is clamping down on that, and you need 'solid' and 'permanent' repairs. The truck has rust in all the usual places. In fact, its highlighted in the photos by the off-color body work. (Front fenders, rocker panels, rear fenders, rear bumper. All panel repair/ installs were done in July/ August this year, and were screwed on. You can let it run for a few years, or removed the screws and fix it with bond-o or welding. The running gear is good. The motor is sound, and the front end is tight. I finally got my sticker in September, even though they gave me a '4' since I originally failed then. The tires are decent, the brakes are good. All the rear lines are the Copper-Nickle-Ferous lines that don't rust, redone approximately 2007 (even the PITA behind the tank line.) The fronts are regular brake line, redone in approximately 2011.Its a manual transmission, NV4500, 5 speed. Never had any problems with it. The 4x4 works well, its the center-axle-disconnect style. There is a lever on the floor to pull for 4x4-hi, low, and neutral. (The light does not work.) The hubs are permanently locked. It has the 8 foot long bed, and an extended cab. Seats 5 adults easily. The cab does not leak. The windows are manual, all around (never worry about window regulators or flimsy switches again!) The rear window is non-Dodge since the original leaked. (It was replaced in 1999.) Air conditioning works, as does the defrost, and other climate controls. (The defroster switch is still stock.)The cummins diesel motor still runs great. I don't have any issues starting in cold weather. The fuel lines from the tank (the lift lines, not the high pressure ones) were replaced approximately 2006 when the originals started to crack. There is only minimal blow-by. The motor does not smoke. The starter was replaced approximately 2013.The front bumper is an Aluminum Denver Off-Road model. There are 2 light tabs, with 6" KC Daylighter lights. The bumper will fit a 15,000 warn winch (I used to have one.) There are tow hooks under the bumper, and tie points on it.Truck has the camper-prep package, which means heavy duty springs/ suspension and an 8800 pound GVW. I have carried stone, loam, chips, and other bulk materials easily. I must say, the truck rides better with a few hundred pounds of cargo. The bed is from a 97, which was black, and was never repainted on the inside. I have commercial kitchen mats on the bed which helps keep stuff from sliding around (and are easily removable)I have a high-top camper top which goes with the truck. It bolts on with 6 eye-bolts, and is color matched to the body. I take it on/ off by myself in about 30 minutes. There is garage door insulating tape all around the bed which makes a water tight seal between top and bed. Its about a 30" opening, and the camper top roof line is about 4" taller yet. (I have plenty of room to stand up the 44 gallon rubbermaid commercial trash cans.)Truck has a class-IV trailer hitch, and 7-pin wiring for a trailer. There is a brake controller mounted in the cab. I have not used it in a few years, but used to regularly tow 16 and 21 foot trailers easily. The Cummins motor is great. I get about 18mpg. It was my daily driver until this summer. It still runs around to keep things fresh. I have the Cummins factory service manual, though I have never had to do any repairs. This truck should keep going for years. My whole family is sad to see it go.

1974 Custom Dodge Shorty Van with aftermarket 318 V-8 engine. You don't see many of these vans around anymore. The engine has 36,000 miles on it. The brakes are strong, just had serviced and passed Massachusetts inspection. The odometer doesn't work, but everything does. The heat is strong built in choke for cold days. I purchased 6 years ago from the original owners in Seattle, so it's a west coast van. Always had it garaged. The tires are 6 years old and do show outer wear, but no tread wear, less the 2,000 miles on the tires. It runs strong and starts up every time. I have two back exhausts with chrome tips which gives it a great sound. The dual rail exhausts on each side have been removed from engine, it was just to loud. They can easily be removed if you don't like them as show. Added a great radio system with hookup for your phone and cd player. Not the best on gas mileage 10-12 a gallon. The body has damaged to the front and back custom flares. I got an estimate of $1500-$2,000 to fix them if you like. There is noticeable rust on bumper, but can be re chromed for $250 if you like. There is noticeable rust to the front chrome grill and hood. There are missing paint chips here and there if you look really close. It's never been in an accident and have title in hand. The top has some paint wear in certain areas. It has two sunroofs, the back small one opens and doesn't leak, while the front large one has been sealed shut and will leak with heavy rain fall. The van interior is done in a black and red velvet/shag from top to bottom. Only one interior lights work in the back. The seat folds into a bed with plenty of storage below. There is a red velvet curtain for privacy. Two tinted windows on both sides. The two bucket swivel seats with arms, show some fading and one has a tear on seat. The dashboard is in good shape, the back shag/velvet is in great shape. I never planned on selling this van, But I just moved to NY and parking is to expensive for two cars. I HAVE IT STORED IN SUDBURY MASSACHUSETTS 01776, NOT TEMPE, ARIZONA. It's Candy Apple red with gold murals on both sides with expected wear, but overall look great. I put a lot of money into this van and always had it fixed right away by the same mechanic in Seattle. Feel free to come by and test drive it. You can have it checked out by a mechanic, I've been told the van is in overall good shape. I can help with shipping, since I've had it shipped two times. Free local pickup.Feel free to ask any questions.
