Hello, For sale is my 1969 Dodge A100 5 window pick-up truck. This truck up until about 2 years ago was a very solid runner and purred like a kitten. Steering, brakes, suspension, windows, doors... brand new 225x60x15's on Mopar Interceptor dog dish cop car wheels. Everything was good to go and I loved driving this truck. Until one day, I was driving down the highway and started to smell smoke. I pulled over immediately and that when I heard the 'Woosh' of the fuel line a carb ignite into flames. Luckily I had a fire extinguisher on board... so the damage was not too substantial. However, the top end and wiring harness inside the dog house were burnt to a crisp. Turns out it was some chipmunks or mice that built a nest up against the exhaust manifold. A $400 tow ride home and there she sits in the back yard covered by a tarp. There is some rust starting to develop in the normal spots along where the bed connects to the side wall... and a little bit on the bottom if the drivers side door. There is some rust on the tailgate, but I also have a spare tailgate in decent shape (plus hinges) that will come with truck. Someone, prior to my owning the truck had cut in a sunroof that I removed during the engine fire to allow for ventilation. The bed and interior floor boards are in decent shape with minimal rust. All in all the body is very straight and no sign of any collisions whatsoever. There are little dings and scratches... but not too bad honestly. Over the last two years since the fire I have acquired a nice matching running slant 6 and transmission. (I have had every intention of getting the truck back on the road. Unfortunately, I've run out of time and the appropriate space to work on the truck) Both of which are not necessary as the existing motor really only needs a wiring harness, alternator and carb. I have also acquired a fully rebuilt carb and manifold. (all shown in pictures). Only really needs to have the motor installed and wired back up and shes back on the road. There is also some original rear view mirrors, side glass window, Dodge a 100 doors these would be good sheet metal donars - same contours as truck) emblems, fuel sender unit, shifter cover and blinker lenses. Also have a bunch A100 chrome strips that are in decent shape too. All comes with the truck. NADA estimated value (link below) apprasied the truck at Average retail at $10,000.00. My asking price $7500.00 or best offer... I feel like this is a fair price considering the how rare the five window truck has become coupled with the wheels and tires, Two motors, Two tranny's, Two tailgates, fully rebuilt carb and a bunch of other goodies. 1988 Dodge Ram pickup LE 150 with canopie & xtras. Nice condition. I purchased this truck about 8 months ago from the original owner. He kept it garaged most of its life. There is no rust to be found anywhere. I have put on about 10,000 miles since I have owned it, around town and on the freeway. The only thing that I have done to it is to have the front wheel bearings packed, new alternator & fuel filter. This is a rock solid truck. Rides like a nice comfortable full size car. Theres only a couple of negatives. The intermittent wipers stopped working. The regular windshield wipers work fine. The oil pressure light is defective. I was going to have it replaced with an aftermarket gauge but I was holding out to hopefully find someone who knows how to replace the original. I never got around to it. The oil pressure is fine as I had it checked out right after I purchased the truck. It has the average pressure that it should have for its age and the mileage. No knocks , pings or other funny noises. Runs like a sewing machine. All of the interior is original and in great condition. No rips or tears. No cigarette smell. I'm a non smoker and so was the original owner. All the lights work. This truck has power steering, power windows, tilt, air conditioning (which may need to be recharged) & power locks. All the glass is good. There is a slider window on the back of the cab. The canopy is great and locks up. I just remembered that I had the windows on the canopy tinted when I first purchased the truck. The tires and breaks are in very good condition. I am including two virtually new Wildcat tires and two snow tires with low miles in the deal. The tires on the truck are the same size as the xtras that I am including. There has never been any body work done on the truck. The paint is all original. There are a few chips here and there that could easily be touched up. I park the truck in the same place all the time and have never seen any sign of leakage. It doesn't burn oil or smoke. This is a fantastic truck and could easily be minted out. The rack on top of the canopy is included but not the xtra little pieces that I mounted on the rails. They are for transporting my canoe. I will remove them as soon as the truck sells. I would get in this truck today and drive to Miami if I had to. Point being that it is very dependable. There is also a professionally installed hitch with a receptacle.
