1970 Dodge Coronet 440 4 door sedan with a ton of mechanical work done over the last year. Has an small block 318 with overdrive trans swap (1993 Dodge A500) but the donor trans will only shift in reverse and I am tired of the project. It could be something easy, but I do not know and do not want to find out any longer. Top end of the engine is completely rebuilt/new (Heads, new intake, Edelbrock carb), brakes all around, radiator, hoses, belts, tires, manual steering swap and more. Engine runs, needs final tuning to carb. It drips a little, so one gasket may not have sealed right. Drive it onto a trailer or tow truck in reverse. This is not driving home. Probably have $3-4k in receipts for parts over the last year plus purchase price of vehicle. I have some older receipts too, and original window sticker and manual. I think the car has only had a couple owners, and for being in Chicago its whole life, its not terrible. There is some rust on lower body, and a hole in passenger floor (found windshield leaks right on floor and that is the cause). Original paint and interior. Extra parts in trunk, and extra rear window on back seat. A/C equipped car, but a/c was removed over rebuild. All parts in trunk to replace if wanted. Great winter project in good shape. Would make a fun cruiser (that is what I had planned), I just have too many projects and want to move this to fund the others.
