This car has been a joy to own. It has never failed her and has always been a smooth and reliable car without even a hiccup. She purchased the car in 2014 from its first owner, our pastor's mother, at 24k miles. We have taken it on several road trips and the car has mostly seen highway mileage as she drives 40 miles up and down the expressway into the city every weekday. Since new, the car has seen very light use and it shows. This may be the cleanest Avenger you're likely to find at any price, and generally speaking the Avenger is extremely nice transportation for the money. It's just too nice to be traded in to a dealer lot somewhere. CONDITION: Having parked in our garage at night and a parking garage during days, the paint and interior are in great shape. The exterior has some minor dings and cosmetic blemishes from road debris and normal wear and tear. No major dents, no significantly obvious scratches aside from the front bumper road wear, and even has a fresh coat of wax. I performed an expensive paint correction last year (scratch removal, polish, seal, wax) that took two days to complete- the paint is very nice. The interior is also extremely clean with no odors or issues (never smoked in, no pets, no kids). Engine and transmission are smooth and powerful. Undercarriage is damage free, zero rust or corrosion of any kind, and zero oil leaks or drips. Suspension is tight and drives straight. 2003 Dodge intrepid. Runs good. Tight exhaust, very powerful 3.5 liter 260 horse power motor. This is a 24 valve motor. Tires are at least 40%. The leather seats in front have some cracking, the rear are like new. The a/c is cold. The transmission shifts normal. The brakes are good, 50% or so. The battery is brand new, the wipers are new. There are no service lights on. Problems: The digital climate control lcd back light is burned out (or a fuse) but the climate control operates as it should ( you just cannot see the temp it is set to). There possibly is a cd stuck in the cd changer (the 6 cd lights flash). The radio operates as should. There is a dent in the rear right back bumper, also a dent in the drivers side door (see pics) There was paint spilled in the trunk. This was my wife's car for 6 years then my daughters car for 5 years. We were the second owners. The engine long block was replaced by our dealer at 35,000 miles. This motor only has about 65,000 miles on it. I am selling it to make room in my driveway. This is probably the best car for the price. The roof has a little clear coat issue, but not bad. It had a complete rebuild engine with 218k miles, new rebuild transmission with 221k miles and new oem turbo from mopar. I just did a full inspection for oil and all filters as well new brake pads on front axle. Brake discs were replaced 15k miles ago. Also, i just had 3 almost new tires put on it.The trucks runs awesome and has nothing that doesn't work. This truck was always on a very high maintenance schedule, that is the reason for such awesome mechanical function on this truck. All seats are very nice and have no rips or tears. This also was a non smoker vehicle.The truck has nice cold A/C, Navigation, heated seats, power seat, power windows etc. This truck is used and has some scratches and dings all around. The front lower bumper piece broke with around 130k miles, since than it is simply fixed and still hanging. We are the 2nd owner of the truck and it is in very very very good shape for the year. Adult owned and driven completely stock never turned up. Dash is not cracked. Transmission was rebuilt last year with heavy torque converter for better shifting, and longer life. Truck never had a gooseneck until March of last year. My flatbed was in a wreck and i had to pull a skid steer to Oklahoma on 3 total trips and not used again since then, so truck has not been used as a tow pig. Balljoints were replaced about 10k miles ago Gearbox was rebuilt about 15k also the powersteering pump was replaced and the hydroboost unit was rebuilt. Injector pump has been replaced at 160k and at that time a Fass HD 150 fuel lift pump was installed to replace the known problem with the factory lifts pumps causing your injector pumps to burn out. We have had a fuel pressure gauge since it was installed and never got below 12PSI . (anything up 10 is above factory spec) and idles at 15psi. Truck gets about 20-21mpg as commuter between Mckinney and Frisco Daily. On our trip to Hot Springs earlier this year we got 24.5 mpg all highway. Tires are in ok shape they 2 are good 2 will need replaced within the next 5k miles No problems with truck, no leaks. No excessive blow by. 325k and counting still daily driver. starts right up with no problems Clean Title in hand, Toolbox, headache rack, and seat covers are not included and factory radio has been reinstalled in truck.
