The truck is in pretty good condition for its age. Runs strong, has plenty of power, 4WD works great and it's great in the snow. It'll haul a lot for a half-ton. It has the usual Dodge cracked dash and a tear in the drivers seat. The A/C needs work (not sure what's wrong with it, it may just need recharged). Very little rust, just a little on the bottom of the doors, frame is virtually rust free (it's originally from Virginia so it hasn't been through all of the salt). There is a dent on the rear bumper (see pictures) from the previous owner. The tires are Goodyear Wrangler Armortracs which have less then 3000 miles on them. I lost the transmission at about 148000 miles and had it replaced with a Certified Transmissions Re-manufactured unit for which I have most of the paperwork. It should pass inspection with no problem since I just had it inspected about a year ago. Besides the transmission, I have replaced the ball joints, U joints, plenum gasket, intake manifold gaskets, tires, passenger side headlight, and the thermostat was done while we had it apart for the plenum repair. What needs repaired: the idle control valve needs replaced (that is why the check engine light is on, it's about $40, never got around to it, the truck runs fine now it just idles a bit to slow on start up), and whatever is wrong with the A/C.
