This is a Dodge Neon Electric car conversion made with components from Canadian Electric Vehicles in Vancouver. I did the conversion in 2013. You can check out their website for the conversion details. Using a AC 50 electric motor with a 650 amp controller and the stock 5 spd trans this thing can really move. Safety disconnects and inertia switches installed. Electric heater-(not hooked up),vacuum pump for brakes,manual rack, gauge package for monitoring batteries, motor and 12v aux battery.Chargers for battery bank and 12v battery. 9 duracell deep cycle gel batteries run the motor at 115v. 1 gel battery for the heater. 6 batteries under rear seat and 3 under the hood. With this battery/motor combination i do about 10 miles on half a charge. I take the kids back and forth to school in it. With Lithium batteries the range would be significantly greater.
