Mechanic's Special - Selling a 1992 Dodge Dakota Extended Cab Pickup. It needs more work than it's worth for me to pay to have the work done. A mechanic or body shop could do the work, or use it for parts. Here is the GOOD: Strong V8 engine, good transmission, and good 4 wheel drive. Electrical system works fine: power windows, lights, etc. The BAD: Leaks: gas line; oil pan; radiator. Heat and Air aren't working. Odometer stopped working at 166,000+ about 50 miles ago. Exhaust system needs replaced. The UGLY: Body rust around fenders, truck bed, and frame. Part it out, or do a full restoration, or do the minimum necessary repairs and confine it to farm work. It drives, but due to the leaking issues, would not recommend driving it more than to load it on a rollback. Priced to move quickly. Payment: PayPal deposit of $200 required at end of sale, and balance within 7 days by cash only at pickup.

Heavily optioned, one owner 2013 Charger SRT 8. Original sticker was $53,170. The car has 26,000 miles on it and 90% of these were on the highway. I used it to commute back and forth between between Western and Eastern Maryland (about 150 miles), all on the highway. I am only selling because I need something with all wheel drive. The Charger SRT 8 is a brilliant performance sedan with a great look (better than the new Chargers, in my opinion). This car has virtually every option available on the SRT 8. These include the following: Driver Confidence Group: $745Blind spot detectionRain sensitive wipersAutomatic high beam controlHeated rear view mirrors Adaptive Cruise Control Group: $795Adaptive speed controlForward collision warningRear cross path detection Harmon Kardon Audio Group $199519 Speaker Harman Kardon Green Edge Audio System (1000 watts) Power Sun Roof $995 Black Roof $1500 (Just put on 4 new Perrelli P Zeros less than 500 miles ago: $1100) Other interesting features include: hill start assist rain brake control performance tuned steering adaptive damping sport mode 3 (the suspension has 3 settings, normal, sport and track that yield dramatically different suspension set ups. You can really feel the difference in ride and handling when you change the settings)largest UConnect touch screen display, which includes all kinds of performance and vehicle data, the Garming GPS, Blue tooth with voice recognition, etc., Keyless Enter-N-Go, rear back up camera sback up sensors dual zone AC heated and cooled cup holders, heated and cooled seats heated multifuntion SRT leather bound steering wheel SiriusXM radio auto dimming rear view mirror with microphone wheel mounted paddle shifters power tilt and telescoping wheel etc. The only aftermarket additions to this car are clear bra, stainless steel "Charger" door sill guards, black carbon fiber hood pins (they look real, but are not, so no holes drilled), and a Blinder HP-905 Compact Laser Jammer. This is the 4 head unit, with 3 jammers in front and 1 in the rear mounted over the license plate. The Blinder also works as a forward parking sensor. According to one reviewer, this is military grade laser jammering technology. It even tells you what type of laser it is jamming. I have used Blinders for many years and they have saved me from tickets on numerious occasions. (If you are driving in Virginia, you may want to turn it off). Driving the car is a great experience. It is very comfortable and the redesigned, full leather interior with all the luxury features list above is a great place to spend time. The seats have plenty of support and all the accessories work perfectly. The different suspension modes are impressive and allow you to change the personality of the car very noticeably just by pressing a button on the touch screen. The large Brembo Brakes bit when you ask them too and do an excellent job slowing and stopping the car. As a result, it drives a lot smaller than it looks. The safety equipment and adaptive cruise control are a big deal if you have never used them before. The blind spot warning is a great feature which lets you know if a vehicle is in your blind spot when you are looking to change lanes on the highway or elsewhere. The rear crosspath warning works like this: if you are parked between 2 large vans and you have to back out of the parking space, you can't see if there is on-coming traffic. In the past, you had to take a leap of faith, start pulling out, and hope the cars you can't see will see you and stop. With crosspath detection, the system tells you whether a vehicle or a pedestrian is coming at the back of your car from the areas you can't see. The adaptive cruise control is a great system. You set your speed and tell it how far you want to stay behind the vehicle in front of you and it does the rest by speeding up and slowing down as needed to maintain the distance. It also applies the brakes when you go down hill so you won't exceed your speed target as with regular cruise controlsl. Even when the adaptive cruise is off, the sensors in the front of the car will "pre-load" your brakes if they sense something in front of you and the computer thinks you may need to slow down or stop soon. This has the effect of quicken your reaction time when breaking. The car will also sound an alarm if it thinks to you are about to hit something and need to brake immediately. (If you are at all prone to distracted driving, this can save you an accident). The Hemi engine (470 HP and 470 ft lbs) pulls hard throughout its broad power band and the exhaust note is perfect. I usually put after market exhausts on cars like this, but I had no need to change the factory exhaust of this car. It sounds like a true muscle car when you step on it and the car is quick! The shape and stance of this car are outstanding. It has a dramatic presence with its bulbous hood scoop and vents, 20" wheels, raised shoulders, pinched waist and large LED tailight display. The new charger body is toned way down from this one and it definitely loses something. The front end on this car is also much better looking in my opinion. The Black Roof option is a huge addition to this car. When combined with the bright white paint, it looks terrific. You won't see many of these because it was a high cost option that works best on white cars. The Harmon Kardon 1000 watt stereo is also a major upgrade and the most expensive option you could order on the SRT 8. It makes a huge difference. You can literally crank it all the way up with no distortion (though I wouldn't advise doing this for very long if you want to avoid hearing loss). This heavily optioned car has been garage kept, regularly serviced and detailed, and has seen almost entirely easy highway miles. It is priced aggressively relative to comparablle SRT 8's on eBay and won't disappoint its new owner in any way.
