MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T REFUSE!!! This 1964 Dodge Dart GT convertible is a Very Unique car. It is the 50-year anniversary car and considered to be the most attractive Dart ever built. It is the Top trim level Dart. Being a rare convertible (manual top only) adds to it's desirability. The car was painted in March, 2014 and a new Red vinyl interior completed in June, 2014. Other mechanical work that has been done is as follows: Complete carb rebuild-6/14; new hoses- 6/14; new trans pan gasket; engine mount; trans flush; reseal of transmission shift cable; new gauges(under dash- oil, temp and amp) complete change of oil, filter and transmission fluid and tune-up. New Battery and turn signal switch. The Dart is powered by the 'Bullet-proof' 225 Ci slant 6, backed up by a 3 speed Torque flite automatic transmission converted from push-button dash shifter to center console-mounted floor shifter. The push-button shift buttons are still in the dash. The Dart looks and runs Great. The Dart's options include: power steering, torque flite transmission, heater and defroster(not working at this time) padded dash; bucket seats; fender mounted rear view mirror and tinted glass. There is no body rot. All 4 tires are practically new. Some things that still need to be done: -Horn doesn't work.-New Heater Core (included) needs to be installed. -Loose Steering needs to be addressed (may be shocks or alignment, I don't know.).-New Window "Fuzzies" (included) need to be installed.-Needs new rubber weatherstripping between top and windows.-Left rear window crank stuck in up position.-Radio doesn't work (could be antenna, I don't know). This car is definitely a work in progress but much has already been done. It is inexpensively priced to sell. Spend the summer in a Unique, Great-looking, vintage convertible.
