Well, the time has come to part ways with my beloved Coronet. My father and I have owned the car for about 13 years. The car was originally a 318/904 car painted B5 Blue. The car now has a 400/727 combination. The trans has a fully manual reverse pattern valve body that was rebuilt buy a professional mechanic. The engine was rebuilt about 12 years ago with a stock bottom end and a Mopar Purple Shaft Hydraulic cam .509/.509 lift 292 duration, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and a Holly Carb. The engine runs great without any issues. While I was in the military my dad had body work done and the car painted. It's painted Plymouth Prowler Orange Pearl Coat with a Super Bee Strip (not a real Bee). This was about 10 years ago now and it's starting to show in some areas. Mainly the hood scoop, which is fiberglass riveted onto a steel hood and then the seam was glassed and it is now cracking. I stored the car a a friends one year and on the hood the paint was doing something weird in an area. The tail panel around the taillights is also starting to bubble. The floors are solid, I know there is one small patch on the drivers side. The car will need a trunk floor and the frame is solid except the trunk extensions which can easily be replaced. The carpet is faded and it currently has E-body seats in it. The drivers seat is torn. I have original low back B-Body seats that will go with the car. I have been gathering parts to one day restore it. I have inner and outer wheel housings, doors from California an extra tail panel (I started restoring this and have the tail light buckets off and trunk latch), trunk lid (trunk lid was forced open and I cut the bent sheet metal out), interior parts, a 440, and sub frame connectors that go with the car. 1999 Dodge Durango (Big Red) for sale. Asking $1200, but don't be afraid to make an offer. I am going to list EVERYTHING I can so we can avoid a ton of questions. Just inspected last month and has almost new tires on it. It starts EVERY time, and has always gotten me where I need to go BUT it has a ton of issues. For the past 4 years, I have said I will drive it til it dies. It refuses to die, but it is starting to fall apart lol. It is pretty rusty as you can see. The worse part of the truck is the oil and tranny pan are starting to rust/rot out and leak. I put a quart of oil in it every 3-4 months and a small bottle of tranny fluid every 4-5 months. It has been that way for around 2 years and hasn't gotten any worse. The tranny winds out a little when you 1st get up to a good speed but its been the same for years now. One of the back windows does not go down. The hatch hydraulics don't work so we prop it open. The driver seat adjustment panel broke off but I still have it and it still works when you plug it in. I just never bothered fixing it. Air cond never worked. It’s an 8 cyl so likes to guzzle the gas. 4 wheel drive works. 183,000+ miles and still going. Brakes passed inspection but can sometimes feel a bit spongy. Was told they may need to be bled out. Has a safety feature, if shifter isn't all the way in park, truck won't start. Every now and then, that happens and I have to be sure lever is all the way up before starting it. Exhaust was replaced a few years back at muffler man, front to back. It was $1000. Tie rods, ball joints, u joint, and wheel bearings were done like 4 yrs ago. Stabilizer bar was just done last month. Shocks are shot. Radio/CD player works. Heater works but doesn't always get real hot. Was told lines need to be flushed. No leak in heater core. Fog light was hanging due to my daughter running into a poll, but I unplugged it and still have it. Truck has 3 rows and seats go down. It has a TON of room. Also has roof rack. Hitch for tow ball as well. Truck has dents and dings all over. It was a very well used vehicle. Was driven daily until I bought my new truck 2 weeks ago. Needs a good cleaning inside and out, but she is ready to go. You are buying this vehicle AS IS with no warranty. I am located off Genesee on the bflo/chktg border.
