With its enlarged engine of 8.4 liters (stouter pistons and rods from Chrysler's popular 6.1-liter Hemi V8 have made possible a 1-millimeter increase in the V10's cylinder bore, swelling the displacement from 8.3 to 8.4 liters — a whopping 510 cubic inches), and variable valve timing system helped horsepower rise to a staggering 600hp! A substantial increase in the compression ratio from 9.6:1 to 10.2:1 results from reworked combustion chambers. The fuel injectors now reside in the heads, close to the intake valves instead of farther upstream. Each spark plug now has its own coil. And a swinging pickup in the oil pan (borrowed from the Viper Competition Coupe) prevents oil starvation in the V10 during high-g driving. Other changes were relatively minor. A new transmission was installed, and the exhaust system lost its crossover, which lowered interior temperatures. The electrical system was revised and run-flat tires were abandoned in favor of conventional ones with better grip, but the Viper was now performing at a level where there was little room for improvement. Though the performance of the reworked engine grabs headlines, the adjustments to the Viper's suspension are arguably more significant. They make the 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 simultaneously more livable on the street and more corner-capable on the track. This car is a BLAST through the turns! The body is perfect with no dents, just crisp lines and smooth contours! Beings this is a factory new car ALL panel gaps are perfect and EVERY thing works as it should! NO RUST!! The paint that was laid down over this beautiful body was done by Mitch Lanzini from Overhaulin. It is a beautiful black base that shines very well with a flat white hood and roof. The accents are done in candy red and blue with pearl added as well. All of the accents are striped by hand! About 10k was invested into this paint. All of the glass is clean and the head light show no signs of chips or cracks. The front lip shows no sign of scrapes or bottom outs. All trim is super clean! The interior is incredibly clean as well and you can’t even tell it has been sat in. It shows this car only has 17k miles on it! The carpets are free of stains or rips and the floor mats look brand new as well! The headliner is free of stains and is showroom TIGHT! Absolutely LOADED With navigation, U connect, USB, Power leather seats and all the bells and whistle’s of an SRT-8! The engine bay is super clean as pictures show and is BONE stock! The car breaths through a Magnaflow exhaust and it sounds incredible at idle and gets even better when you smash the gas! The suspension has been tightened up a bit and features Hotchkis springs and of course has the factory “sport suspension” switch that will stiffen it up even more! This car handles like a dream through the turns and comes out of them like a BEAST! It pulls hard through every gear and hits them well with NO transmission issues what so ever! This car was shown at SEMA in 2013 and has paint tutorials all over YouTube. The staggered wheels (22x9 front 22x12 rear) give it a beautiful stance and they look incredible revealing EVEN MORE the Brembo dual piston calipers. This is practically a brand new car! I have personally driven it and it is a BLAST to drive, 392 manual 6spd HEAVEN! It gets SO many looks when driving and the candy colors dance in the sun! The paint that was laid down over this body was done incredibly well and it shows! It has been repainted a period correct Bright Red and the clear coat over it looks WET! The black stripes add a nice contrast in color and sheen at the same time! This car really stands out with all bumpers shining true and bright. The trim and badges show well also. The black vinyl top is brand new and fee of rips or snags and looks great! All of the glass looks incredible and the rear window appears to be original with just a few blemishes. The headlights are clear and free of cracks. The taillights look great as well sitting in the iconic Challenger Matte Black rear end! The period correct rims tie the restoration together beautifully! The grill is in perfect condition and represents a 71 to a T. The interior was not skipped one bit either. From newly covered factory bucket seats to brand new carpet that has no signs of rips or stains! The headliner is nice and tight and clean as well. There is super clear gauges sitting in the wood grain plate and the clock WORKS! The dash looks really good and the Challenger floor mats add a nice touch of color to the interior. The door panels are in incredible condition and ALL the hardware works as it should. The pictures really speak for themselves and the seats look like they have never been sat on!
