EXPORT, NO PROBLEM... This is a Super COOL, original southern Cal black plate 66 V8 Dart GT in very nice, rust free, low mile condition. Nicely preserved and maintained. Rebuilt matching 318 motor, 3speed auto, and Sure Grip Posi rear... nice set up!! It is a nice driver quality car with V8 power! Original black plate California car came to me in primer... I had it prepped and dip wrapped in hot rod satin black. The car looks great... the wrap can easily be roved if desired. Bumpers and moldings are nice underneath. Car and runs/feels great... definite daily driver capable. Excellent weekend cruiser or addition to any collection. Body is super super straight with no rust or collision damage that I can see. Professional quality wrap presents beautifully with only minor blemishes. Frame pans and chassis are clean and solid. Interior is pretty nice as well. Panels are great... Gauges and electronics work properly. Has a new headliner which could have been installed a little better... I have a new carpet kit for it... just waiting for my upholstery guy to return fro vacation. Seats were redone in cloth at some point and need to be done again... I like the covers.. goes with the street fighter look. Rebuilt 318 Motor starts, runs, and idles excellent... rebuilt trans has a shift kit and shifts smooth through the gears. Suspension feels tight and handles great... has factory power steering and power brakes with disk up front stop straight and sure. Great reliable driver. Overall this is an very nice Dart Gt in fantastic condition all around... it is well preserved and maintained. Awesome weekend cruiser, potential show car, or addition to any collection. I am a collector... this is a great one for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, classic rod at a great price. The car is located in Beverly Hills... Inspections are welcome and encouraged... serious buyers can call me at 310 850 8980 but no tire kickers please. This 69 Dodge Charger is one of the original 17 General Lee's found on Warner Brothers lot. This GL is also one of the 2 hero cars used in the latest Auto Trader Dukes of Hazzard commercials.(There were 4 stunt cars which were made for the commercials, which jumped, crashed, etc). This car was used for close-up interior shots of Schneider and Wopat driving the car. There is a Warner Brothers letter and contract, both with the VIN number for this car. Here are some interesting details concerning THIS General Lee.1. There is a middle seat in the front for Daisy....built by the prop dept.2. The car runs fine.....maybe a tiny bit of smoke when you first start it....until it warms up.3. I've left the engine compartment original. No repaints, etc. Just the way it was found.4. When I bought this GL it had quite a bit of bird droppings on it but instead of painting the car...I spent a lot of money just filling, patching and repainting tiny little spots on the top so I could honestly say it has about 80% original paint. 5. I hate autographs. Everyone I know has autographs of everyone.....however, I was offered an autograph from Schneider and Wopat when they were shooting the Auto Trader commercials in my car.....and I took the offer.....so they signed the vizor. I will discount the price a bit because of that. lol Anyway, there are millions of Dukes fans and I'm sure they all want tons of photos....etc, etc,......maybe even MY autograph. lol I'm not showing the Warner Brothers documents and contract but If you do become a serious buyer....of course that would be made available for you before you spent ONE CENT. I'm not putting a lot of photos in this listing because if you're NOT familiar with everything I've written....this car's not for you anyway. If you ARE serious, you can come see it or send a representative. Please!!!! No critics about what I should or shouldn't put in the listing. If you want the car, YOU can build a website and tell everyone all about it. I'm only putting in one picture, on purpose. I have about 10,000 photos of this car. If you're serious, you'll already know all about my car anyway. THERE ARE ALL KINDS OF VIDEOS ON LINE OF THE DUKES NEW AUTO TRADER COMMERCIALS......ALSO A DOCUMENTARY ON YOUTUBE ABOUT THE MAKING OF THESE COMMERCIALS.WHEN YOU SEE CLOSE-UPS OF SCHNEIDER AND WOPAT...THAT'S MY CAR.SORRY I'M TOO STUPID TO PROVIDE A LINK. LOL. Please keep in mind that there are thousands of orange Chargers with the orange paint, an 01 on the doors and a flag on the roof. You can probably get a nice one for 10K-15K......but you can also buy a replica of a Van Gogh painting for $30- If you're going to spend this amount of money, you want absolutely NO question that this car is from the Dukes of Hazzard TV show. Everyone has a story.....but only 17 General Lee's (out of thousands) come with the letter and contract from Warner Brothers. (If I'm correct....even the GL that John Schneider sold for $500,000- was not one of the TV show cars)
