The car is powered by a rebuilt 440 engine that Keith bought near Covington, Georgia. The Torque Flite automatic transmission is rebuilt, as well as the rear-end with 3.73 gears. The paint is nice, this is an original Go Mango Orange car. The exhaust system has the loud and deep Muscle Car sound with single chamber Flow Master mufflers. Tires are B F Goodrich mounted on Turbine wheels. Nice Saddle Tan interior. Working Dixie air horns and a booming sound system. Viintage heat and air system. Power steering, power brakes and drums all around. Glove box is signed by Bo and Luke Duke, John Schneider and Tom Wopat. HISTORY: This car was born in the St Louis, Missori plant and lived in in San Antonio, Texas for many years before Keith boutht it and brought it to Tennessee in September of 2002. It was built with Go Mango Orange paint, white vinal roof and a 318 engine. The vinal roof was off and car and repainted when Keith bought it, no rust at all on top where roof was. Keith did paint eh Confederate battle flag on the roof. He replaced the 318 engine with a 440 out of a Georgia police car, we did rebuild it. he rebuilt the rear-end, it was a very high ratio, he put a 3.73 ring gear and pinion set as well as bearings. His friend at Pro Torque transmission shop rebuilt the transmission. He has less then 300 miles on all the rebuilt drive train. After driving the car 2 or 3 times a year he has decided to sell it and buy a new car. He did store the car with air plane car, because is does not die and damage parts. 91 pictures below, just scroll down to see them all. VIN: XH29G0G227093 and it does match the VIN PLATE. HOW IS THE ENGINE: Its a 440 that Keith bought near Covington, Georgia. Covington is near where the first few episodes of Dukes of Hazzard was flimed. It was stored in a barn and past owner said it was out of a Georgia police car. The block was cracked due to fozen water so we replaced it with a good block from a local MOPAR mechanic. We did use the heads, crank, rods and other parts of the original engine. Take a look at the picture of the giant exhaust manifolds. We put new rings, bearings, timing chain, timing gears, cam, lifters and oil pump in the engine. He also had a local auto machine shop rebuilt the original heads that we got from the police engine. The engine runs good and I see no leaks, hear no knocks or rattles and see no blue smoke. Keith says the engine has 300 miles on it at the very most. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 727 Torque Flite. Keith had it rebuilt by his friend at Pro Torque Transimmions. The 727 is a 3 speed automatic. HOW IS THE REAR-END? I hear no whines or growls, its is rebuilt with 3.73 gears with less then 300 miles. HOW IS THE GLASS? Windshield was replaces by Keith and looks new with new rubber. Side glass old, but good. HOW IS THE CHROME? New front and rear bumper not long ago. Door handles original and pitted, gas cap good, but has small pitts. HOW IS THE PAINT JOB? When you look down the sides of the car it is very straight, I see no dents, no dings and no rust bubbles. The paint has a very good shine. If you look with a critical eye you can see that the top and hood are a little different shade, but not bad enought for Keith to redo them. Its a good paint job, just like most and not perfect, you can find a spec if you look for it. No one other than us has ever said a thing about it, "its always the hit of the local car show". AIR CONDITIONING and HEAT is a new Vintage air system. Old heater box is available if you want it. WHEELS AND TIRES: Turbine wheels with BF Goodrich tires. 14 inch on front and 15 inch on rear to get the stance Keith liked. Tires are 235/60s. EXHAUST SYESTEM: Nice aluminized pipes with Flow Master single chamber mufflers, it has a real Muscle Car sound, it is loud and deep. WHAT IS THE SOUND SYSTEM? Pioneer radio with CD, sub woofers in trunk, amps and speakers in kick panel and rear package tray. It sounds good! DO THE DIXIE HORNS WORK? Yes, they air air horns and loud. DOES THE CB RADIO WORK? Its not hooded up, its just for looks. TURN SIGNAL WORK, HEAD LIGHTS WORK, TAIL LIGHTS WORK, BRAKE LIGHTS WORK, GAUGES ARE IN A POD UNDER DASH, WIPERS WORK. PARKING BRAKE WORKS, but you have to pull it up with your foot, return spring is old and weak. POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, 4 wheel drums, brake booster is a little touchy until you get used to it. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? I consider it good, the capet is good, door panels good, headliner real nice, dash pad has no cracks, package tray good and color is saddle tan. IS THE DASH SIGNED BY THE REAL ACTORS? Yes, Keith has gone to all the reunions and had them sign it. Its signed by the Duke cousins Bo and Luke, in real live John Schneider and Tom Wopat. The car is powered by a rebuilt 440 engine that Keith bought near Covington, Georgia. The Torque Flite automatic transmission is rebuilt, as well as the rear-end with 3.73 gears. The paint is nice, this is an original Go Mango Orange car. The exhaust system has the loud and deep Muscle Car sound with single chamber Flow Master mufflers. Tires are B F Goodrich mounted on Turbine wheels. Nice Saddle Tan interior. Working Dixie air horns and a booming sound system. Viintage heat and air system. Power steering, power brakes and drums all around. Glove box is signed by Bo and Luke Duke, John Schneider and Tom Wopat. HISTORY: This car was born in the St Louis, Missori plant and lived in in San Antonio, Texas for many years before Keith boutht it and brought it to Tennessee in September of 2002. It was built with Go Mango Orange paint, white vinal roof and a 318 engine. The vinal roof was off and car and repainted when Keith bought it, no rust at all on top where roof was. Keith did paint eh Confederate battle flag on the roof. He replaced the 318 engine with a 440 out of a Georgia police car, we did rebuild it. he rebuilt the rear-end, it was a very high ratio, he put a 3.73 ring gear and pinion set as well as bearings. His friend at Pro Torque transmission shop rebuilt the transmission. He has less then 300 miles on all the rebuilt drive train. After driving the car 2 or 3 times a year he has decided to sell it and buy a new car. He did store the car with air plane car, because is does not die and damage parts. 91 pictures below, just scroll down to see them all. VIN: XH29G0G227093 and it does match the VIN PLATE. HOW IS THE ENGINE: Its a 440 that Keith bought near Covington, Georgia. Covington is near where the first few episodes of Dukes of Hazzard was flimed. It was stored in a barn and past owner said it was out of a Georgia police car. The block was cracked due to fozen water so we replaced it with a good block from a local MOPAR mechanic. We did use the heads, crank, rods and other parts of the original engine. Take a look at the picture of the giant exhaust manifolds. We put new rings, bearings, timing chain, timing gears, cam, lifters and oil pump in the engine. He also had a local auto machine shop rebuilt the original heads that we got from the police engine. The engine runs good and I see no leaks, hear no knocks or rattles and see no blue smoke. Keith says the engine has 300 miles on it at the very most. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 727 Torque Flite. Keith had it rebuilt by his friend at Pro Torque Transimmions. The 727 is a 3 speed automatic. HOW IS THE REAR-END? I hear no whines or growls, its is rebuilt with 3.73 gears with less then 300 miles. HOW IS THE GLASS? Windshield was replaces by Keith and looks new with new rubber. Side glass old, but good. HOW IS THE CHROME? New front and rear bumper not long ago. Door handles original and pitted, gas cap good, but has small pitts. HOW IS THE PAINT JOB? When you look down the sides of the car it is very straight, I see no dents, no dings and no rust bubbles. The paint has a very good shine. If you look with a critical eye you can see that the top and hood are a little different shade, but not bad enought for Keith to redo them. Its a good paint job, just like most and not perfect, you can find a spec if you look for it. No one other than us has ever said a thing about it, "its always the hit of the local car show". AIR CONDITIONING and HEAT is a new Vintage air system. Old heater box is available if you want it. WHEELS AND TIRES: Turbine wheels with BF Goodrich tires. 14 inch on front and 15 inch on rear to get the stance Keith liked. Tires are 235/60s. EXHAUST SYESTEM: Nice aluminized pipes with Flow Master single chamber mufflers, it has a real Muscle Car sound, it is loud and deep. WHAT IS THE SOUND SYSTEM? Pioneer radio with CD, sub woofers in trunk, amps and speakers in kick panel and rear package tray. It sounds good! DO THE DIXIE HORNS WORK? Yes, they air air horns and loud. DOES THE CB RADIO WORK? Its not hooded up, its just for looks. TURN SIGNAL WORK, HEAD LIGHTS WORK, TAIL LIGHTS WORK, BRAKE LIGHTS WORK, GAUGES ARE IN A POD UNDER DASH, WIPERS WORK. PARKING BRAKE WORKS, but you have to pull it up with your foot, return spring is old and weak. POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, 4 wheel drums, brake booster is a little touchy until you get used to it. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? I consider it good, the capet is good, door panels good, headliner real nice, dash pad has no cracks, package tray good and color is saddle tan. My guess is not, but don't it look good. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Good for 4 wheel drums. Shifter has a brake lock on it with a light, when you mash the button it locks the front brakes for a burn out. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It is power steering and to me it drives good. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? The seat covers are nice, door panels decent, dash pad good, head liner has a loose seam. I will sow it up before you get here, but you will see the repair, car is good. HOW ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? Very nice wheels, tires are good. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! The sassy grass green paint is nice. I see no dents and no dings and the car is straight when I look down the sides. The hood has the MOPAR look with the big scoop. The hood is fiber glass and removable and on show lifts. You will like the paint! HOW DOES THE CAR RUN? It runs like a Demon, to me it is very fast. The cam is just right, it hits a lick. It starts good and I hear no rattles or knocks. IS THE ENGINE ORIGINAL? My guess is no, past owner said it was a 340. It fits correct and is a strong engine. I have not looked for casting numbers. It is very clean with nice dress up chrome. It has a cam that hits a good light, it sounds like a real Muscle Car. NOTE: In my pictures you see no heater hoses from the core to the engine. They are no on, past owner had not hooked them up. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It a good 727 3 speed automatic. I feel no slip and it shifts firm. Nice ratchet shifter. IS THIS A REAL RT? My guess is not, but don't it look good. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Good for 4 wheel drums. Shifter has a brake lock on it with a light, when you mash the button it locks the front brakes for a burn out. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It is power steering and to me it drives good. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? The seat covers are nice, door panels decent, dash pad good, head liner has a loose seam. I will sow it up before you get here, but you will see the repair, car is good. HOW ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? Very nice wheels, tires are good. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! I do not know for sure because things have been replaced and rebuilt. TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches. IS THIS A REAL RT CAR? No its just a good replica, copy. HISTORY: My car restoring friend that lives near Cinncinnati found the car in Hamilton, not far accross the Kentucky line. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it good! The black paint has a brillant shine, I see no dents, no dings and no rust bubbles. The car is straight to look down the sides, I do not see waves. I see a few very tiny specs if I look with a critical eye. DO YOU SEE ANY RUST? I see no rust bubbles in the paint. I see no rust issues on the under side, no rust holes of swelled places. I see some rusty color where the original under coating has flaked off. I did not cover it with under coating because guys think we are covering rust up. If you want it to look better, brush and spray. HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers look new, grill and inserts good, the tops of the rear bumper guards are dull, a few minor scuffs on the narrow trim on the top of the trunk. CAR HAS AIR SHOCKS in the rear, you can lower it if you don't like the way it is setting. HOW IS THE GLASS? Side glass good, rear glass good, windshield has minor wiper marks, but no cracks and not milky. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It is a 360 cubic inch that runs good. I hear no knocks or rattles. It is not the original, the car was born with a 318 by the VIN. The 360 is a perfect fit and runs stronger, the only way I can tell is jack the car up and look for the numbers on the drivers side just in front of the starter. Car has a new Holley 4 barrell. I do not know for sure because things have been replaced and rebuilt. TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches. IS THIS A REAL RT CAR? No its just a good replica, copy. HISTORY: My car restoring friend that lives near Cinncinnati found the car in Hamilton, not far accross the Kentucky line. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it good! The black paint has a brillant shine, I see no dents, no dings and no rust bubbles. The car is straight to look down the sides, I do not see waves. I see a few very tiny specs if I look with a critical eye. DO YOU SEE ANY RUST? I see no rust bubbles in the paint. I see no rust issues on the under side, no rust holes of swelled places. I see some rusty color where the original under coating has flaked off. I did not cover it with under coating because guys think we are covering rust up. If you want it to look better, brush and spray. HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers look new, grill and inserts good, the tops of the rear bumper guards are dull, a few minor scuffs on the narrow trim on the top of the trunk. CAR HAS AIR SHOCKS in the rear, you can lower it if you don't like the way it is setting. HOW IS THE GLASS? Side glass good, rear glass good, windshield has minor wiper marks, but no cracks and not milky. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It is a 360 cubic inch that runs good. I hear no knocks or rattles. It is not the original, the car was born with a 318 by the VIN. The 360 is a perfect fit and runs stronger, the only way I can tell is jack the car up and look for the numbers on the drivers side just in front of the starter. Car has a new Holley 4 barrell. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 727 automatic that is good. HOW ARE THE RT STRIPES? They look new. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Most look new, the only thing I can be critical on is the front bucket seats have some wrinkles. Parked in the hot sun and time will help. WIPERS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! HORN NOT WORKING! NO RADIO! HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK, YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE RIGHT TURN, NO LOCK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! NEW WHEELS AND TIRES THAT HAVE LIKE NEW TREAD! HOW IS THE EXHAUST SYSTEM? Trunk rubber new, door rubber new, the right side is tight, you have to close the door hard. DOES THE CAR LEAK ANY FLUILDS? I consider the engine, the transmission and rear-end good. The power steering does leave too much on a clean floor, I wiped it off and am checking to see were it is coming from. Most old car weep and leave some drops on a clean floor. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE?
