I bought this truck a few months ago because my other truck was down and being worked on. I used it to pull a dump trailer and when I got it it had an oil leak on the side of the motor and I got that fixed along with some other issues and also replaced some brake lines that where rusty. I am still having trouble with the ABS. I will ether have it fixed before it is sold or I will take off money from the sale price. I want to be as honest as possible. I have not owned the truck for long so I don't know the history of it. There are some rust issues on the body but not so much on the frame. The dash board was replaced with the last owner because of the typical cracking. I think with some work this could be a nice truck or you could keep using it like a work truck. This truck has one of the best transmissons I have ever used. The cluck is solid and the truck starts up great every time. The tread on the tires are still good. Truck has been very well maintained, no rust ever mint frame, nice glossey emerald green and real straight unworked body, drives excellent good power nice tight front end, all gauges working, 100% bone stock with no lifts, no programmers, no pump hacks, this is a must see and must drive vehicle, no leaks no blow by, fires right up no problem, good miles for year no accidents!!Few things to note please keep in mind its a 20 year old pickup but trust me probably nicer than 99% of all 97's out there, wear and tear inludes rock chips on paint, small scratches, some minor parking lot dings, interior wear, and 4th gear has a light syncro grind if not careful shifting, e brake needs tightend, otherwise she is a beauty in every way, again lowball offers will not get my response so please don't call these trucks are the best diesels ever built and there are not many out there, looking for something good get this, want a headache or a rustbucket go to craigs and pay less, always remember you get what u pay for!!!

Up for sale is a 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Crew Cab with the 5.9L Cummins 24 Valve Turbo Diesel. This vehicle was used as a work truck. It is in excellent running condition. We have driven it back and forth from Nebraska to Arizona several times with no issues at all. In fact, the last trip made to Arizona averaged around 21 MPG at 75 MPH. There really is no reason to sell it other than the fact that the market has slowed down greatly in our industry and we are reducing our fleet of any unneeded vehicles and trailers. Allow me to provide you with some of the basics on this 1 ton Cummins Dodge. At the time of this posting, there are 211725 miles on the truck. If you're a Cummins lover, you know that is low mileage. I've see these engines run 500K or better. If you take care of it, the truck will probably fall apart before the engine does. This truck has power windows, locks, mirrors, and driver's seat. It also has a CD player and the other standard basics, like A/C. It also has a gooseneck hitch in the bed of the truck. However, being a work truck, there are some cosmetic issues. Take a look at the pictures, I tried to capture everything. The front bumper has a dent, as does the rear bumper. The front edge of the dash, just behind the steering wheel is broken, but it is hidden by the dash cover. The A/C - Heater Blend door is broken and needs to be replaced. It is broke in the cold position so you get nice A/C but no heat. Since this is a 2WD work truck that we only drove during the hot summer months, this wasn't an issue for us and we never fixed it. The cup holder that folds up into the dash needs to be replaced. It folds down and holds your drinks, but the arms that hold the drink in place broke off. I am unsure if the arms can be replaced or if the whole assembly needs replacing. The tailgate is a tan color because the original tailgate got hit by a piece of machinery. There is a small ding in the tailgate, but other than that and the color it is excellent condition. There is some paint fading around the top surfaces of the truck. This truck was originally from Arizona and the hot summer sun baked the paint pretty good. The truck has a low reserve. I'll give you a hint, it is set at the low blue book value of the truck. Based one blue book's condition quiz, this truck would fall in the good category. Here is another hint: The engine for this truck, alone, has a salvage value of approximately 5K. I have for sale a 2002 Dodge extended cab 4x4 dually diesel truck. The truck runs and drives great. It has a 5.9L Cummins engine, automatic transmission, and 4x4 on the floor. The truck rides and drives great with no blow by. It has right at 300,000 miles on it. I got this truck from a repair shop who, in the last three months, rebuilt the automatic transmission and did some repairs on the front end that totaled right at $3000, but I did not get any paperwork to prove that. I've put less than 1000 miles on the truck since that was done. The 4x4 works good. The truck has power windows and locks, cruise, and air. It does have some cracks in the dash and a rip in the seat. The body does have some dings and some rust. I would guess the tires to be 40-50% tread. It does have a ball in the bed for a gooseneck. I bought this truck to have a snow plow put on it, but a guy came and bought the plow so now I don't need the truck. This would make a great work truck or a plow truck if you had a plow to put on it.
