2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab 2x4 History: I am listing my personal vehicle, a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 (3/4 Ton) Mega Cab with the best iteration of the legendary 5.9 Cummins 24v. My truck was built in November 2006 making it virtually the last of the greatest factory non-emission Cummins ever produced for light passenger trucks. If you have never been in a “Mega-Cab” truck – you owe it to yourself to check it out – a crew-cab will feel small and cramped by comparison. The wheelbase on this truck is 160” and the bed is mid-length at 6’4” long. The following content will detail how my truck has been professionally maintained and what is included within this sale. I am asking a fair price, all things considered, and I will be available to promptly answer questions regarding the truck. It is being offered for sale inclusive of the System-One all-aluminum ladder/lumber rack; and the built-in “BedSlide” that extends 70% out of the trucks bed and holds up to 1000 lbs! My truck is 100% stock which means it has no-tuners; no-trailer-tow programs; no amped-up transmissions…its just how Dodge intended and designed it to be – it works extremely well! If a change was made, it was to enhance the trucks efficiency functionally or to make life easier on the owner/operator. I change the oil every 4000 miles and only use Rotella (and change the fuel filter every 8000 miles). The truck drives and tows straight and smooth; has plenty of power (610 lbs torque). I tow a trailer approximately six-times each year under 400 miles total (trailer is under 10k lbs.). I am a roofing salesman and mostly use the truck as a daily driver – it has led the equivalent of the “life of Riley”! The current mileage sits at 135 and will go up incrementally – this means its just “broken-in” for a Cummins! I have only towed with a bumper pull...there is not a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch installed. In short, you can come get my truck and confidently drive it anywhere in the country, with confidence. As I eluded to in the details below, there will be four brand new OEM Firestone 20” tires in the bed for the new owner. The existing tires have good life left and therefore, will be left on the wheels. It doesn’t get better than that… Interior:My 2500 is trimmed as an SLT model with gray cloth interior. As you can see in the pictures – the interior is in overall outstanding shape. The carpet is virtually stain free, as is most of the seats – the rear seats are literally like new and have only been sat in a handful of times. The drivers seat is virtually new and shows no sign of wear or stains – the seating pad and fabric were replaced in 2016 with an OEM unit. Ironically, the seldom used passenger seat, does have a couple mild stains on the seatback (very small) but other than that is in great condition. I have installed WeatherTech floor mats (the “Liner” line) in both the front and rear cabins. Like most other items in the interior, they are scratch and stain free. In fact, the carpet, seats, seat backs and floor liners are all “tear-free” too – nothing is lurking or hiding within the pictures. The body is in very good shape but does have mild scratching on either side of the bed and tailgate. This has been a work truck and it shows some of that wear. The paint still shines bright and clear over most of the body. I want anyone who would be interested to know they are not buying a brand new truck. Just to be clear… Options:As I mentioned in earlier, I am selling the truck with the System-One rack plus the Bedslide SR10 – both are game-changers if you have not used them before. The rack can hold 1500 lbs, evenly distributed across the top rails. The BedSlide has three-lock positions and can hold up to 1000 lbs and retain mobile. There is also a trailer-brake controller installed and included – it works with the built-in round 7-pin connector (there is also a 4-pin pig-tail as well). : Updates:In 2016, I made a number of updates to the truck, all were performed with OEM Dodge (new) parts. As anyone knows, those who have done the same, this is not cheap – it is actually rather expensive. I am eager to sell so MAKE AN OFFER! The extended cab does have rear "suicide style" doors. The interior is in really good shape although the dash has cracks (as they all do) but it has a dash cover that conceals it. The tires were installed last year and still have decent tread. The headliner has some very small marks in it. I have used this truck for work over the past few years and it has been a strong truck. It has recently been giving me some problems by being hard to start. I believe it has something to do with fuel delivery but I am no mechanic. A little spray of starter fluid and it starts. It has also started leaking fuel from one of the lines on the upper side of the tank and I am probably going to fix that soon if I get the chance. The a/c has just stopped blowing but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. The turn signals stopped working and the RPM and oil pressure gauges work on and off. The transmission was replaced about a year ago. As I said, I have been using it for work but now I need to sell it because I just don't have the time to do anything otherwise. There are some scratches on the rear sides of the bed. The truck has an average amount of wear but over all I believe its a good looking truck. This is a long wheel base truck that has a Tool box down the driver side of the bed as seen in the pics. It also has a spray in bed liner. 75K original mile 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab Diesel. This truck is in very good condition and runs and drives like a new truck with great power and tight steering. The exterior of the truck is in good shape with minor scratches and dings that would be deemed normal for its age. A good buffing would likely take 90% out. The only "heavy" damage is on the rear wheel opening of the right fender, and shown in the pictures, and it isn't very major. The interior is like new. The top of the dash hasn't even thought about cracking yet. There is one small cigarette burn in the passenger seat bottom and that is about all I have found wrong with the interior. The truck is 2WD with a factory tow package (heavier springs, etc), automatic transmission and is loaded with power options, including power seat, and cold A/C. Tires are in decent shape. The engine is super dry. Not really any oil or grime anywhere on it and the underside of the truck is just as clean. It does have rails installed in the bed for a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch, however I have only towed a 19ft boat with the truck. The truck does have a Georgia rebuilt title (has already cleared state inspection) due to being salvaged from something falling across the corner of the hood. The truck needed the hood, grille, upper tie bar, intercooler (bent) and driver's fender replaced. That was the extent of the damage. I have included a picture so you can see the previous damage. I am the second owner of the truck and I have only had it since this past summer. This is a rust free Southern truck located in Georgia that you can get in and drive home.
