For those of you who remember when you got your car fueled up the attendant that ran out to fill your car up? That was me.... it is where I started my journey into the car business, at 14 I walked down to my uncles Texaco station in south central PA, after football practice, I'd put on my striped shirt and greeted the customers filled them up, checked the oil, washed the windows and whatever else I could do to get tips;). He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened this small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. If you give me the opportunity I promise I will do everything in my power not to let you down... I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast. A few things to know before bidding or becoming interested in one of my trucks, I do not play games with the price, I do my homework price low for fast cash sales on the buy it now that is what I need if you do the research you will see, however serious cash buyers are encouraged to bring cash offers close to buy it now we might deal to the right buyer, the right buyer to me does his or her homework and knows the market price on these old diesels, is easy to deal with and has there expectations in line, what I'm not looking for is people shooting lowball prices, bringing a magnifying glass to scrutinize a 15-20 year old work truck, if you need new I do not sell that they are tens of thousands of dollars more money and don't last long at all go to the new dealer if that is the case. But if your serious about buying a nice older diesel and are good to get along with that is me as well I will make you a sweet deal, stop down if you can.. This geourgous Colorado 1 owner 01 Dodge Ram 2500 Larimie 4WD SLT Plus Edition Quad cab 4 door shortbox, cummins 24v turbo diesel engine 55 Block 355 rear AT With white all original paint and black heated leather is just awesome shape. Exterior is clean with excellent gloss no clear flake, no major dents or scrapes, very glossey looking, mint frame, straight sides, spray in liner w/5th wheel hitch, inside its never been smoked in all the toys working that I tried, smells good no dash cracking, heated soft leather seats, gauges all work. Mchanically just the best you will find, I just installed new track bar bushings and 4 brand new cooper 10 ply radials with alignment and new power steering box and a SB air cleaner system. Good brakes good exhaust, hit the key the cummins fires right up, looks like the injection pump and fuel system was also just installed in there. Truck is 100% stock no lifts, no chips or programmers, adult owner bought origionally in Colorado then moved recently to KC but always garaged and kept well maintained with 183K car fax certified miles. 2001 Dodge 2500 Cummins Diesel Short Bed SLT This truck is in fantastic condition. Runs strong and like new. This is my personal weekend truck. It has always been on the west coast and almost always garaged. - 89383 miles – 2nd owner truck. - Truck has absolutely no rust and no body damage or dents. It has never been in any accidents. There are a couple minor tiny, barely noticeable scratches and a few tiny rock chips. The windshield has a couple of chips in the glass but not in the field of vision. No stains on the carpet and no scratches on any of the plastic interior panels. - Has factory Infinity sound system, leather heated seats and heated mirrors. - New Blue Chip VP44 injection pump installed about 3k miles ago. Their best special X premium pump that cost $3050 just for the pump. It was expertly installed by myself with love. - Also replaced the lift pump and the TPS with a non contact type (will last forever) at the time of the injection pump change out. - The engine block is the improved version 55 casting. Not the 53.- New Firestone Destination AT 285/75/16 tires installed about 10K miles ago. - Four New Bilstein 5100 shocks and BD front steering stabilizer installed about 5000 miles ago. - New MBRP stainless exhaust and muffler. - Shell and ski rack in perfect condition. Comes with a camper interior package. - Bed has no dents and no rust and has never been drilled for a 5th wheel. - It has never been used to tow a heavy trailer or load.
