1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 Has an extended cab, which seats 6. Lots of work has been done to this vehicle within the last five years. Here is a description : new; water pump, radiator, drive belt,fuel pump,and a brand new rear bumper,and a new tow bar; wired with the latest trailer pigtail.As far as the body is concerned the rocker panels have been replaced as well as the rear wheel wells. The insides of the passenger door, and driver's side door,done professionally by my picky mechanic. I have many of the maintenance records, This truck is well maintained,and can tow up to a 6000 pound trailer,it has a tow package with a new electric brake controller.The underbody is in very good condition, no rot or severely rusted frame members on this truck.This vehicle will easily pass inspection. Just ask my mechanic or consult your own for a check.As far as the engine is concerned it is an 8 cylinder 5.2 litre 318,has no issues, and plenty of giddy-up.The only defects this truck has is the flow door for the heat/cool system, it needs to be serviced. It still has heat and AC ,but with acceleration the door closes momentarily,also there is some minor surface rust; and the top of the tailgate has a dent, it was accidentally left open during a towing session . For the year its in pretty good shape though.Options:Power: steering, windows, door locks, cruise control, extended cab LS.AM/FM Stereo CD player, tinted rear glass, and sliding rear window, and 4 wheel drive option, plastic bed liner.
