1976 Datsun 280z was freshly painted 7-8 years ago by a professional shop. while it was repainted the motor was also rebuilt. the paint has a few blemishes (please see photos) the motor runs good and strong. the gas tank needs to be replaced it will clog so currently the car is not drivable but will start and run to get it on a trailer. just can drive long distances without the tank plugging up. the interior is mostly there just needs to be re installed. does not have front carpet and is missing door catches. the body is mostly rust free except the rear of the chassis rails need refurbishment. Forced to sale before I can finish. This has the 3 speed Jatco automatic transmission and does shift smoothly through all gears. 138,795 original miles. What I've done recently: - Replaced intake / exhaust manifold gasket and hardware. - Repaired leak in exhaust down pipe with new flex pipe. - Replaced thermostat gasket.- Replaced alternator.- Replaced starter.- Replaced all 3 drive belts.- All new coolant hose.- Replaced fuel line.- Replaced ignition.- Replaced all vacuum hose (not the heater hoses though) with new silicone vacuum hose.- Brand new spark plugs.- Brand new spark plug wires.- Changed all fluids.- I have sanded through most of the 2 paint jobs that were applied. And scraped and sanded the old weather coating from under the doors and quarter panels. Not an easy task. - Tires have great tread. I will include new Zenon eurathane front air dam ($180 dollar value). The remaining gaskets in Felpro gasket kit.I have all the lights and covers and will box them up. Car starts right up and does run smoothly down the road. It does idle a little rough until it warms up though, but not too bad. It might fluctuate 50-75 rpm's, but smooths out when it warms up. No real rust anywhere underneath (some under rear bumper). Floors and panels are all in good shape.

This is a 1973 Datsun 240z that I have been working on for the last 3 years.First I installed a 3.5 Olds aluminum V8 and a T-5 5 speed trans, This involved a new drive shaft and a new hydraulic throw out bearing. I then upgraded the braking system with vented rotors and heavy duty calipers up front and solid disk breaks in back. I also installed a larger master cylinder and a hydraulic e-brake (Drift Brake).The next step was body and paint, I reinforced the floor frame rails to go the full distance of the floor to handle the extra power.There were a few minor rust spots that I repaired along with adding the new custom front and rear bumpers. I then painted it sunset orange witch is a little lighter and a lot brighter than the original orange. I am not a professional body man or painter but it turned out real nice. Not show quality but great driver quality.I then bought some custom matching seats , new carpet and new door panels. also a new dash cap. It has new 16" custom wheels and new 225/50/16 Dunlap dizerra 2 tires.The tach was replaced with a V8 tach so it would read correct. The oil pressure gauge is not currently working I am working on getting the factory gauge to work with the V8. I will have a working gauge installed before I sell it.

DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a 1970  Datsun 2000 Roadster. This is a numbers matching east coast barn  find that I purchased 2 years ago with full intentions to  completely restore it. I now have too many projects and this one  is a major project but definitely worth saving in my opinion. I  have owned 2 other roadsters and as anyone will know you never  find one with a perfect dash. The interior of this car is truly  a time capsule and was well preserved. When I received it the  top was still on and the interior was musty but preserved. The Good The interior of the car is in  excellent condition, and all original, untouched. The seats are  original, the vinyl is still soft and pliable needs to be  cleaned but there are not any rips or tears to the original  interior. The dash is perfect no cracks, all of the gauges and  knobs still have a like new look all of the lettering is crisp  and clear. The glove box front is perfect. The floor pans are in excellent  condition, only minor surface corrosion, no rot. all of the  components for the convertible top are intact and actually in  very good condition. The front bow where the convertible top  attaches is in perfect condition. We removed the valve cover and  inside it looks excellent. The tension on the timing chain is  tight, very clean. We removed the fuel line from the gas tank to  see if it would crank and it does turn over. The information I have on this car  was it was pulled from a barn in Pennsylvania, where it had sat  since the mid 70's. I have a title from Pennsylvania in 1973.  The seller informed us it was original mileage but other than a  story and the condition of the interior and how clean it was  under the valve cover I have no way to document actual mileage. The Bad RUST! This does have a bunch of  rust, however from what I can see it is mainly on the exterior  panels and some underneath but the frame seems solid. Almost  every single body panels needs some sort of body work to it. the  rear funders are rotted through above the tires. We removed the  passenger fender to get some pictures and show the condition of  the frame. When we tried to remove the spark  plugs one of them broke off in the the block, meaning the  corrosion was so strong it wouldn't break loose and it snapped  in half. This is how it has sat for the last year while I have  been working on other projects and trying to decide which  direction to take with this car. There is a ton of corrosion  from the humidity and sitting inside, so every bolt that we have  taken off has been a chore. Gas has sat in the gas tank for a  very long time and it will need to be drained. cleaned or  replaced. I am sure almost every bushing and suspension piece  will need to be replaced. In summary this is not a project for  the faint of heart or inexperienced (like me) however it can be  a very unique car if properly restored. Thank you for looking and  considering my old project. Up for sale 1977 Datsun 280Z, 2.8L engine, 6 cylinder, 5 speed manual transmission. Car is really clean, very minimal rust which is shown on the picture. Car has been rewired on the interior but the blinkers don't work. Car has fairly new tires on Panasport 16" wheels. New belts, new fuel pump, new battery, new spark plugs, new spark plug cables, new air flow meter, all gauges work with the exception of the temperature gauge. Car has all the A/C components but it does need to be wired. Transmission shifts perfectly. Car could use new shocks which I will include the front ones for a full price offer, will also include rear lowering springs. Paint is good but clear coat is peeling on the top of the car. This isn’t your grandma’s car. Oh wait, maybe it was. I'm the third owner of this beauty. It was originally bought new by 2 older ladies, followed by an middle aged gentleman, and now myself. Hate to let her go but I have too many projects on my hands. This is not a project car though. Grandma’s know their stuff. This has been a very reliable, fun, and smooth cruising car. I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a road trip & have done so without any issue. I'm willing to drive it to any of Utah's borders to shorten the drive for a buyer wanting to pick it up. It only has 101,750 miles & it shows. Not to say that it’s perfect but it is probably one of the best examples of a Datsun 810 out there (this is my 2nd 810). The body and panels are straight, very minimal surface rust at spots, it was painted in 2012, interior is great overall, & the engine bay is nice and clean. The Datsun 810 was Nissan’s luxury vehicle & the predecessor to the Maxima. This is a 1977, the first year for the 810 that was available between 77-80. It has an ever so smooth Inline Six that Datsun’s were known for. It’s a L24E, a fuel injected 2.4 liter that consistently gets mid 20’s mpg. It was advertised as a practical family vehicle with a ‘Z motor’. Which it is. I bought this to be a mini-van replacement that has some personality and character. It does share many engine & suspension related parts with the 280zx. It has an automatic transmission that is good working order and a working cruise control that was added by the dealership. The heater works & it does have AC. It currently sits on some Western Wheels turbines. Two of the tires are brand new, the other two are 4 years old. I do have a set of Datsun steel wheels & 2 sets of original hubcaps (ie 8 total) if you’re more interested in having it be completely stock.  I had the exhaust replaced from the header back last fall. It has a catalytic converter so it runs clean and passed emissions with flying colors, but for this year it’s actually not required for emissions. The battery is also brand new as of a few weeks ago. I have several extra parts that will be included like: tail lights, seat belts, window visors, a rear seat lower portion (brown), rear hatch glass, a factory repair manual, owners manual, a 1-piece drive shaft that is a direct fit (can change out the 2-piece), and some other parts. For the sake of being forthright, it's flaws are: both front seats have some tears, passenger side tail light has a portion missing, the dash does have some shallow cracks, and as mentioned earlier it does have a few spots where paint has been scratched and surface rust has formed.  If you’d like a classic that isn’t like everything else on the road & will only continue to gain value over the years then this is your wagon. New Page 2 DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a 1968 Datsun 1600 Fairlady  Roadster. This roadster was resorted approx 3 years ago and still looks great. A  lot of the parts are original and a lot of work was done to this. This is in  great running condition and is ready to drive and enjoy. The interior is in very  nice shape, seats are original and there are not any cracks or tears. They  are the low back seats. Carpet is good and was replaced when restored. This  includes the soft top cover as well as a BRAND NEW soft top which does need to  be installed on the retractable frame. The dash was recovered in a high quality  vinyl and tastefully sewn together around the gauges so it has a great look with  no cracks. All of the chrome was replated, the paint was redone  and it still looks great however there are a couple paint chips and one flaw on  the hood so it is not perfect but very good. This is out of Nevada, so body wise  I can't find any rust on this car. The rockers are excellent, the  underneath is also excellent and the trunk is rust free. Mechanically the previous owner had the engine  rebuilt and you can still see the paint on the block and head, all of the valves  were redone and the carbs were rebuilt as well. The fuel system was redone with  all new lines and an electric fuel pump was installed. This also has a brand new  header and exhaust system installed. This starts right up and runs great.  Cooling system was gone through as well, radiator was cleaned and flushed, new  thermostat (not sure of temp) all new gaskets on the housing. There are no leaks  in the engine area. The only problem is I don't have any documentation or  receipts from the work done. Tires are in great condition and this has the  classic Datsun chrome hub caps. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car cross  country. Please email any questions.
