time to sell my 280z, its a base datsun 280zx two seat, straight 6 cylinder 2.8 litter which still works like a clock and 5 speed manual transmission which shifts good with no grinds or pops, clutch never slipped on me too, i've owned it since 2010 , before me master mechanic owned , and we both took a good care of her, it was my weekend driver so i barely made few thousand miles for last 5 years, last reported milage is 186000 , at the same time instrument cluster got fried and was replaced with used 5 digit metter with 81000 reading , now its at 83000. Original red color, God knows how many times it was repainted, last paint job was done in 2013 painted 209 toyota black metallic, along with wide body flares and massive bumpers and skirts. heres the list of new parts: spark plugs and spark wires done in 2010 oil pan gasket nov 2011 valve cover gasket nov. 2011 clutch slave cylinder nov. 2011 front light bulbs retrofitted with H1 compatible headlights 10k light xenon light bulbs and ballasts 2" wheel spacers alternator replaced apr.2013 seatbelt retractor mechanisms replaced with new GM rear 'KYB' shocks apr.2013 rear 'MOOG' spring coils apr. 2013 rear LED taillights third LED brake light installed new carpet reupholstered dashboard BFgoodrich radial TA tires nov. 2014 front KYB shocks nov. 2014 front MOOG spring coilovers nov. 2014 front stainless steel braided brake lines front inner +outer tie rod ends along with wheel alignment nov.2014 front brake rotors and pads dec.2014 new aluminum radiator front main crank seal new battery may 2015 new rear hatch weatherstripping new thermostat installed power locks and power trunk release viper 2-way alarm keyless entry (1 mile range, keyless entry, remote trunk) AC retrofitted to be used with 134A , and charged 700 grams nice alpine cd/mp3/USB radio two powerful alpine amps tweeters in the doors, 9x6 sony speakers behind the seats, two 10" subs its a local car, so it has no rust holes under , some minor surface spots , but nothing major. Unfortunately bodywork got few imperfections, few cracks , which are listed in the pictures . so it could use better bodywork and fresh paint, but even as is , car looks amazing and draw attention everywhere i go. Also, car does not equipped with power steering, but could be installed by swapping parts from the turbo model. i got over 10k in this one , and i know i will never get my money back out of it, but ill try to get close to this number, asking 7500 , please don't low b., i don't have to sell, I've enjoyed this car for last 5 years, sure can do it for another 5. thank for looking, have a nice day.

An incredible find and collector opportunity, a single owner 240Z with paperwork (see documents pictures). Some of the major original parts include the engine, transmission, carpet, steering wheel, shifter knob, gas-fill spillage flap!, radio, and even both original numbered keys! This car was basically a barn find and brought back to life. Parts that were replaced after barn find that were retained for possible refurbishment and re-install, these include the exhaust manifold and muffler, fuel pump and air pump (see parts picture). All of the associated piping and hoses that were salvageable were also retained (parts picture). The engine and transmission now run strong and smooth. The exhaust including header was replaced with a complete classic two pipe system, as stated all of the original exhaust manifold and muffler is retained. The car has the aftermarket ARA air conditioning system which was installed by ARA in 1976. I do have the original ARA paperwork including the owner’s manual, operating instructions and warranty registration. The registration paperwork is filled out and signed by the ARA Manager in Atlanta. Of course all this paperwork is included with the car. Although the car spent its entire like in Atlanta, GA it did have some rust that was removed and replaced with new sheet metal. The car was almost completely stripped of paint and repainted with the original Nissan 110 Red. One full size aerosol spray can of paint from the original paint batch that is actually on the car will be included so any future touch-ups will be an exact color match. The paperwork shows this car is a southern vehicle. It was purchased in Atlanta Georgia and based on paperwork and receipts it spent its entire life in Atlanta. The rust it did have seemed to be from water collecting in all the spots Datsun screwed up on drainage and not anything widespread like snow/salt would produce, it is a 43 year old car. There is one item that needs to be connected and a few that need to be replaced to make this car perfect. The very tip of the plastic pull handle for the choke is broken, it works fine but it is not perfect. The hood latch pull lever is the same, it works fine but not perfect. The heater hose was dry rotted so the hose was replaced, I am simply too big to climb under dashes so I just looped the hose into the fire wall and out and bypassed the heater core, probably a ten minute job for a smaller mechanic. The heater hose is connected and the car does run fine, just bypassed the heater core. The original dash has the normal cracks, I did purchase the exact original fit dash cover (see parts picture) but once again I am too big to deal with dash work. I will include the new $300 dash with the purchase. The plastic hinge tabs for the glove box door are broken, it does open and close but the hinge pieces are broken. I replaced both door gaskets, hood gasket and rear hatch gasket. I purchased an entire body gasket kit from Precision (see parts picture) and all of the body gaskets are in this set. If you want this car perfect then use the hatch and windshield glass gaskets and change the current ones that are old, they do not appear to leak but their old… The windshield does have one VERY small chip that looks to be over ten years old and is not spreading, I personally would not change the windshield just for it but just wanted to mention it. A couple of the interior plastic covers are cracked, their old and although functional could stand to be replaced. The one steering boot is torn, I did purchase a new one (see parts picture) but I am too big to climb under the car to replace it, another 20 minute job for a smaller mechanic. I replaced with entire rear bumper with a nice new $600 unit. The new unit can be drilled to install the bumperets (see parts picture) but I just didn’t have it in me to go drilling into that beautiful bumper. The front bumper is a little rough and the bumperets could stand to be replaced or re-chromed. One last item, I am not real happy with the new paint, this car deserves/demands a better job, your call. Quick note: The battery area, spare tire area and the gas fill area look great on this car. I wish I had a lift rack handy so you could see how great the undercarriage of the car is in as well. This is truly a southern car. One other note, I see listing for highly original cars but then you see they have replaced all the original parts with after market crap and did not retain the original equipment, go figure. So for a small list of items this car is a real beauty (see pictures). It also has the original low production two tone black and white interior and cigarette lighter next to the key switch (see picture # 6) that really sets it apart from most 240s. I am really torn about letting it go since another find like this is highly unlikely and I personally do not have the sort of funds to purchase a documented one owner car like this one. $1000 PAYPAL DEPOSIT DUE 24 HRS FROM END OF AUCTION. BALANCE DUE IN 5 DAYS FROM END OF AUCTION. CASH OR WIRE TRANSFER ONLY. SHIPPING IS BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY, I WILL OF COURSE MEET THE CARRIER AND HELP WITH GETTING IT SAFELY LOADED UP
