This 280z is in very nice condition as you can see from the pics. I've had this car 2 years but have driven it very little due to lack of time. I purchased this car from a dealer in Virginia and they said they had purchased it from someone in North Carolina so it has been a southern car for some if not all of its life. The motor runs nice and smooth. The steering (which is manual) works well as do the brakes. The transmission is a manual 5speed. Even the stock radio works if you raise the manual antenna. The windows/doors/hatch all work as they should. It has air conditioning but it is currently not working however the fan does work. All of the AC components appear to be there. I installed new tires on it shortly after i got it so they are brand new. Car is complete and is missing nothing that i am aware of other than the spare tire and jack. The paint on the car looks nice but it is not a flawless show car. Just a very nice car you can drive and enjoy.

1967 Datsun 1600 Roadster in excellent condition with low, original mileage. This car has been well maintained since new. I am the third owner. The car was originally purchased by a man in California for his mother in 1967 who did not drive the car very much. Later, it was purchased by a collector in California who did some cosmetic restoration such as a repaint and some interior work. A new clutch was installed at 32k miles, and I have had the brakes completely redone per original. It has never been wrecked or damaged. The paint is very nice but not a concours quality paint, but fine as is. It is the original color which I think was popular on these cars at that time. The interior is beautiful and compliments the exterior with the red piping on the seats and red trim throughout. The original radio is intact and working as does everything else on the car. It is a fine running car that is dependable and a pleasure to drive. Please look at the pictures as they are representative of the car and part of the description.

1983 Datsun 280ZX For Sale! $2500 OBO CLICK HERE for video of Datsun Running187,000 Miles5-SpeedWorking E-Dash and Power EverythingOriginal Z RimsI was the third owner of this vehicle and sold it when my wife got pregnant with our first child. I was able to finance the vehicle to the buyer but was repossessed in its current condition. The buyer had the vehicle for little over a year and had one minor accident in the car. The pictures show the extent of the damage to the car (replaced door with OE replacement from another 280ZX, and some damage under the door). Vehicle runs good and has very strong inline 6 motor. This vehicle is not in perfect condition but can be a daily driver and was for me for more than 6 months when I owned it the first time. The car is a perfect starter project car for the winter months and get it ready for a spring drive around your favorite country roads! I am including all the items needed for your first tune up and a replacement pressure & return power steering line due to a small leak that was found ($400 Value by itself). I want to be as transparent as I can with this car, I am not interested in ripping anyone off, just want it to go to a person excited about the project ahead. This would also make a great 2nd Z for original parts for another project you may have already started. In its current condition I have seen many comparable sales that exceed $3 thousand dollars and the body is in bad condition or has many engine issues. I will gladly send more pictures/video to anyone interested in this car. If you wish to meet up to see the vehicle or test drive please contact me and we can meet at Grace Baptist Church, 3305 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27127 in the upper parking lot.

Selling my 1969 Datsun 1600 Fairlady Roadster. Long time southern car, with fresh down to the bare metal restoration with a stack of receipts for recent engine work, parts and tires. Body off restored. New pads where body sits on frame. New floors installed as well as body insulation. Beautifully painted in silver of a very straight body. Body was stripped down to metal and minor metal work done, then primed in yellow urethane primer, blocked and then painted with 4 coats of base coat silver (PPG) and 4 coats of clear. Then block sanded and polished, the paint is stunning. This Datsun runs very well and combines the best of Japanese dependability with attractive styling. Converted to electronic ignition ($400) and with a new set of SU carbs ($909). Engine runs cool, has excellent oil pressure, all gauges function properly including lights and horn. Receipts in hand for new carpets, seat covers, miscellaneous chrome items such as inner and outer door handles, 4 brand new tires, new brakes, rebuilt master cylinder and slave cylinder, new pan gasket, new top, new fog lights. Clutch and transmission is excellent and shifts through all 4 forward gears smoothly as well as goes in reverse with no problem; brakes stop the car quickly and firmly with no pulling to one side or another. Newly replaced shocks, very nice driving car, especially with the top down. Charging system works and car always starts once key turns ignition. Car does have manual choke but it is not necessary to use to start the car. Car has the original tonneau covers. This 1983 Datsun 280ZX hits that quality mark. We first bought these coupes decades ago because they were everyday reliable sports cars, but along the way, we fell in love because they were so surprisingly fun to drive. This thoroughly original and pristine example might be your last chance to get all those great feelings while still at a value price. There is just something elegantly great about the lines of this Z-car. It has the long hood and short deck of the Corvette and the E-Type, but with its own distinctively aggressive sharp-edge style. The Nugget Gold metallic paint is original and looks remarkable well for a 30+ year-old classic. Plus, the color-matching bumpers and the six-spoke alloy wheels still look cool today. All the panels and gaps fit together just as a flawlessly engineered Japanese sports car should. But sometimes the most beautiful parts are the asymmetrical ends, such as the NACA hood scoop. Open the door, and you know this Datsun has lived a pampered life. The light brown cloth is just about factory fresh on every surface, from the bucket seats to the carpeted trunk. The 280ZX was not only quick, but also comfortable. This means a long list of desired features are standard, including power windows, power locks, power rear defogger, cruise control, and air conditioning - all in perfect working order. The stereo is an AM/FM/cassette model. There are so many adapters out there for modern music players that we think it would be a shame to spoil this unique atmosphere by replacing this very original integrated sound system. Some other interesting items that come with the car includes the original owner's manual, a car cover, and protective pouches for when the T-tops are off. Of course, don't think we forgot about the T-tops! These are like magnets constantly attracting you to take out the glass and go for a wind-in-your-hair drive on every fall Sunday afternoon and hot summer night. The 2.8-liter motor provides silky smooth torque and a roar that is definitely reminiscent of the great sports cars from Europe. Thanks to fuel injection, it starts easily and pulls smoothly without getting fussy. Despite the complex-looking engine bay, these cars are rather easy to service, and parts are still plentiful. But what will really seal the deal for you on this one is it's five-speed manual transmission, which is a rarity that makes this Z a true driver's car. This coupe has the perfect balance of a sporty suspension, while at the same time, offers comfort features like power steering and four-wheel disc brakes. This two-owner 280ZX has barely averaged 1,800 miles over its life. It is a coddled example of an appreciating classic at an affordable price. Hi, up for sale is this 1979 Datsun 280zx Hardtop 2 seater 5 speed! This car does run, shift and yard drive and has 116,150 miles. We installed a Brand new Fuel pump,Fuel filter,Clutch master cylinder,Slave cylinder,Battery and Battery terminal ends! The car is complete and all original as you can see from pics! It is just missing the original OEM radio! The Firethorn red interior is in good shape for its age, just the typical cracked dashboard! All the glass is good, and all trim is still nice and shiny! All the interior and exterior lights work, even the door shim works!! The chrome bumpers are not rotted and the top rubber portion is not dry rotted!! The motor could use a tune up. Car does not smoke what so ever!!!! Please keep in mind this car needs restoration, no you can not just put a paint job on it due to typical rust on the body(see pics)The underneath does have the typical rust that any car this age would have. No you can not drive it home, car has not been on the road since 2000, so needs to be completely gone over, car will need to be towed away but will drive on trailer!! Over all these Datsun ZX cars are getting harder and harder to find so this would be a perfect winter project!!!!!!!Car is for sale locally, so i reserve the right to end the auction early!!! Any other questions feel free to call me at: 845-551-5265.

These were iconic back in the day and remain fun cars to drive with a balance and flavor that seems to elude today's 2-seaters. And with only 20,849 original miles, this is a very desirable collector! This 280ZX gets just about everything right: great colors, a 5-speed, and it's a 2-seat version, not a 2+2 so the proportions are ideal and weight is manageable. Oh, and I should also mention again that it's led a very easy life with only 20,849 original miles (not a misprint) on the clock. Nice, right? The original paint is more than 30 years old, so you know it's not perfect, especially for 1980s paint, but the fact is that few cars this old have ever looked this good. White is pretty durable and easy to maintain, which probably explains the shine, and the fact that it's never been rusty or wrecked means that the sheetmetal remains in first-class condition. At some point it was upgraded with a Turbo hood and its cool offset NACA duct. Nice black rubber trim hasn't been oxidized by the sun and with red pinstripes on all the most important body lines, it looks sporty without being too extroverted. The red cloth interior is one of the better places to do the serious business of driving from the early '80s. The bucket seats are still firm and supportive, the upholstery is in excellent condition, and even though it's red, the sun hasn't faded it to some awful orange color. It's loaded with options including A/C (fully functional), power windows and locks, cruise control, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo, the latter of which is splayed out on a silver panel just ahead of the shifter. Clear, legible gauges, including the traditional trio of auxiliary dials in the center of the dash, are all in good condition and as with any sports car, a 5-speed manual gearbox is a welcome sight. The cargo bay is in good shape with only light fading on the carpets (inevitable with that big rear window) and it still has the tie-down straps for the removable glass T-tops. The 280 part of 280ZX stands for the 2.8 liter inline-six that powers this sports car, and it does a pretty good job of simulating some of the great sports cars of the '60s. Plenty of silky smooth torque means that the Z is a fun car to drive in traffic and it's an effortless cruiser on the highway with very good road manners. The engine bay, while covered in hoses, wires, and pipes, is remarkably clean and well detailed and it runs as well it looks. The slick-shifting 5-speed is a joy to run through the gear, matching revs with each downshift and listening to the burly exhaust note that could only come from a six. The 4-wheel independent suspension is agile without a punishing ride, and the 4-wheel disc brakes are powerful enough to easily scrub off the speed. It's not detailed underneath, but there's no doubt that this is a good original car. Handsome alloy wheels are almost completely unmarked and carry 205/70/14 white-letter radials that fit just right. With the way Japanese sports cars are appreciating, it's only a matter of time before everyone catches on to what fun machines these are. Buy now and avoid the lines, and capitalize on the appreciation. If you decide to purchase from us, we require that you give us your complete name, address and phone numbers (home, office, mobile and fax) and a port of entry that handles containers. We do not ship vehicles open (RORO: Roll On Roll Off) due to risk of damage to vehicle and theft of parts. All international purchases must be paid by bank wire transfer in US Dollar funds only. Once we have received the funds, we will prepare the car for international shipment through one of our approved land and ocean carriers. We file all the necessary documents for export, deliver the car to a US port, secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You, or your agent, are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
