For sale: **AS-IS** 1980 RATSUN 510 WAGON. This vehicle is a definite head-tuner and extremely fun to chill in. Everything is original on the car. The motor and transmission are just as strong as the same year DATSUN TRUCKS. This is a cruiser/beach vehicle as well as a hauler. The vehicle is dropped 4 inches by 4in Blocks in the rear and cut springs up front. Vehicle was used as my daily driver for 4 years. From the highways to the backroads. I used it mostly for my screen-printing business to haul my equipment around. It never left me stranded. I recommend this Datsun for EXPERIENCED lowrider drivers. As fun as it is, you will definitly feel every bump on the road. You will also use a lot of muscle to steer since there is no power steering. A/C? What is that!? No radio. But you will be singing a tune as you drive. The PROS and CONS are listed below:Pros: Strong / Smiles / Classic / Different / Crazy fun.New Brakes and entire brake system.Carburetor rebuilt.Tinted.What to expect that is not perfect:Seats are torn and you will feel springs on long rides. Miscellaneous small holes in metal due to rust. Drivers side door panel missing. Vise grips are your window opener. ( CLASSIC! )The front alignment is off and you will have to replace tires about every 3 months from uneven wear.No lights on speedometer.

As the latest models prove, the Z will always have a place in our garages and in our hearts, and this final year for the original 280 will likely keep a place of honor in the rapidly appreciating Japanese classic car market. The first generation Zs like this one have a great European-inspired design that looks like a Jaguar E-Type that went to an Italian finishing school. But this one has a hint of something more. The Dark Metallic Charcoal is a full professional application of a modern color. It gives the coupe a deep luster that projects a sinister appearance over this sleek and straight body. This attitude is highlighted in even further with the factory Minilite wheels painted to match. Even the traditionally chrome bumpers were part of the respray, which turns the once cheerful energy absorbing front bumper into something like a cowcatcher for this fierce freight train of a Z. The luster of the dark metallic paint even rivals the shine on the remaining brightwork on the window trim and badges. The interior backs up this aggressive performance attitude with a few nice upgrades. The newer Recaro black and gray sports buckets are a perfect placement, and Grant GT steering wheel looks right at home. Everything else is the great engineering that came straight from Datsun/Nissan. In true Japanese fashion, they took what was already great about contemporary sports cars and enhanced it with user-friendly design and unimpeachable reliability. As a result, the cockpit talks directly to the driver with no interference from quirky ergonomics or heavy control actions. Instead, the speedo and tach are set into twin round pods with a trio of auxiliary dials set up high on the dash. The shifter is perfectly positioned so you always find the right gear. And the AM/FM/CD stereo is a nice upgrade for your favorite tunes while blasting down a backroad. The fuel-injected 2.8-liter inline-six is a fantastic motor. It's both rev-happy and torquey, which has helped Datsun/Nissan establish its reputation for fun cars. It still has that same baritone wail that epitomizes big-horsepower inline-sixes, and because it's a Nissan, you know the motor is reliable and smooth. The engine bay is as clean as the rest of the car, and it benefits from good maintenance, including new braided belts, wire, and hoses. Even the radiator has been replaced during its service history. But what you really should take note of is how this one has not been modified over the years, which is further evidence of living a good life. The 280Z was truly built for driving pleasure, and you can tell with features like the fully independent suspension, front disc brakes, and the optional five-speed manual transmission. This one has everything you want in the last of the original Zs - classic looks, modern unique touches, and an unbelievably affordable price. It even comes with the owner's manual. Don't look twice or this one will be gone. There's only 3,470 miles on the odometer, and this well-documented Datsun seems frozen in time. Think about the 3,470 miles for a moment...someone bought a brand new, top-of-the-line sports car, and then barely drove it. A Florida car it's entire life, this car was sold new in Winter Haven, Florida and has only had two owners since new. The first owner, a woman, was given this car as an anniversary gift by her husband. Then, in 1992, they sold the car to well-known Z-Collector in the Tampa, FL area who still owns the car to this day. Our consignor reports this car has never had the T-tops taken out (until our photo shoot), and even more amazingly, no one has ever sat in the passenger seat! The car has been under car cover and stored away in his collection since 1992. There's no question that's the original dark brown metallic on the sleek surfaces of this 280ZX. In today's collector car world, there are prestigious awards given to cars like this one that almost seem like they were lost to history for decades and still have nearly impossibly low miles and appear showroom fresh. In fact, this one still carries all of its original chrome trim, the doors close with the same authority as a new car, and even the rubber surrounding the T-top still looks watertight. So you're at a crossroads with this coupe. It's legendary Japanese reliability means it can still be as trusty as a digital clock, or utilize this as a full survivor collector. The condition of the interior is even more unbelievably rare. Let's start with the bucket seats. This is the optional leather and suede package on the premium 280ZX models, and while this was durable, any other ones you'd see today would be damaged from decades of Jordache/Levis/Gap jeans wearing these down with each time someone got in or out. Instead these stylish seats are impossibly factory fresh. If the seats are like that then you better believe the carpets, door panels, dash, and everything else is just as pristine. A sports car like this came with plenty of factory options like power windows, cruise control, and AM/FM/cassette stereo. Everything works perfectly right down to the Z-car's iconic tri-pod gauges in the middle of the dash. The fuel-injected 2.8-liter motor is what will make it so hard to resist adding extra miles to this time capsule of a Datsun. This original engine is one of the legendary smooth and rev-happy motors that helped establish Datsun/Nissan as an exciting brand of cars. Z experts will notice this car's engine bay is still coated in the factory cosmoline coating they applied way back in 1982. This was applied at the car factory before the cars were shipped over to the U.S. It looks like there's a lot going on under the hood, but the SOHC inline-six is easy to spot and makes a wonderful baritone wail that's a big part of the early Z's allure. The ultra low mileage means the motor is in outstanding condition, and all the factory stickers and markings seem to still be in place. If you do to choose to enjoy this 280ZX on the road, you'll be rewarded with the perfect harmony of the five-speed manual transmission, fully independent suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes. Japanese classics are some of the quickest appreciating vehicles on the market today, and you're looking at a loaded one that has averaged barely 100 miles a year over its lifetime. You will never again find something this unique that also comes with all the right documentation like the window sticker, owner's manual, and dealer invoice. This car is turn key and has had a lot of brand new parts installed in last 3 months, she now needs nothing mechanically with everything, including air conditioning, performing perfectly except the clock which is lazy. This super tight specimen runs with super compression way up along with oil pressure as can be seen in the picture provided while doing 90mph, and when hands free, the car drives as straight as an arrow, she stops and shifts perfectly with the 5 manual speed transmission, that provides lower revs therefore superior fuel economy. She sat for 17 years and was last painted in1984, when originally converted by shop owner " C.Tolbert of the house of Z's" in Sherman Oaks California. It has clear coat paint showing age and could be a perfect 10 with an updated paint job. This rare Californian model also includes factory air conditioning, hot heat, wind up windows, locking doors and a brand new retractable black convertible top. This vehicle's interior shows unreal, it is ultra clean with several hidden intricate upgrades such as brand new inner fuzzy door panels strips that make the windows like new, there are brand new left and right outer chrome door sills, in fact I have listed and described below the extensive labor and many new parts that have been recently installed. 4 Brand new tires with 1980's gorgeous forged wheels, new stock original gas tank, 6 new Injectors, new valve cover gasket, new ngk plugs, new spark wires, new vacuum lines throughout, new distributor cap and rotor, all fluids replaced, new pcv valve, new clutch complete w/master cylinder, new brake booster with new master brake cylinder, all 3 thermostat sensors, air flow meter, new k&n air filter cone w/boot, new fuel injectors, gas filter, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new fuel pressure regulator, new battery with cable terminals, brand new oil plug, brand new deluxe left and right door frame weather stripping, new deluxe 3/4 sound dampening under padding complete, new black carpet, along with new deluxe stereo w/usb port and 4 new JBL speakers. Best of all, you can pick up a highly original example of this one year only model for under $10K. The Z cars defined 1970s motoring in America, and that's best represented in one color: Gold Metallic. It's that perfect hue that seemed as disco-friendly as the leisure suit forty years ago, and it's still an attention getter today. But really why the color still works so well is because it's on a car that has survived all these decades unmolested. Careful owners did not park this one where it would get door dings, and no one put some huge aftermarket rear wing on this Z. Instead, this coupe has survived with all the clean and sleek lines that made it iconic, and its biggest upgrade was a set of later-model 280Z alloy wheels. This level of originality is especially nice to see considering Datsun only imported the 260Z for one year, and it was also the first year the 2+2 option was available. These are two extraordinary vintage vehicle facts that will make this survivor distinguishable its entire life. Open the door, and there is more evidence of this car's cherished life. The high-backed black vinyl bucket seats are in amazing condition. Behind that are the first-year rear seats, and they look like they've spent most of their lives folded down for better cargo room instead of steady use. Getting behind the wheel feels great thanks to features like the center console and three-spoke sports steering wheel. It's all part of an interior package where the Japanese studied the world's best sports cars, and then enhanced it with user-friendly design and unimpeachable reliability. As a result, the cockpit talks directly to the driver with gauges set into twin round pods for speedometer and tachometer. Auxiliary gauges are placed on a trio of dials set high on the specially contoured dash - a look that became so iconic, it was used for the modern Z as part of its retro-style. This Datsun even had luxury touches for its time such as the AM/FM radio and provisions for air conditioning. But what really made these cars so great was under the hood. The 260Z had a newly enlarged 2.6-liter inline-six that could rev like a European, but built a reputation for reliability never seen before. That's why it's no surprise this car still has its original motor and three-speed automatic transmission. It now breathes a bit better than its regulation-choked days thanks to a set of Weber down-draft carburetors. The result is a car that has an unmistakable vintage sound, but it fires up and ticks through the gears with the kind of confidence not felt in many other 40+ year-old vintage coupes. The same can be said for the tight suspension and front disc brakes. Here's your chance to get an interesting survivor that's also a blast to drive. The bargain price is just the cherry on top. 1974 1/2 Datsun 260Z for Sale 1974 1/2 Datsun 260Z for Sale Stock # 0027-TPA Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28269 Local/International: (704) 598-2130 Toll-Free: (866) 542-8392 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Atlanta Showroom 213 Thornton Rd Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Local/International: (678) 279-1609 Toll-Free: (877) 367-1835 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom 5400 Sandshell Dr Fort Worth, TX 76137 Local/International: (817) 764-8000 Toll-Free: (855) 877-2707 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM CST Sat: 9AM - 5PM CST Email: [email protected] Tampa Showroom 4610 Pet Lane Lutz, FL 33559 Local/International: (813) 501-1630 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] TERMS OF SALE Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. There are a few affordable 1972 Datsun 240Zs still remaining out there, but none like this one. All the great original spirit of the drivetrain and design have been kept, but now with a few modern upgrades to makes this classic a standout in any crowd. The 240Z did come in silver, but you know it never had the deep tones you see on this one. That's because this Z car has had a full professional respray within the last six years. Of course, there's a lot more that catches your eye on this coupe. The front spoiler and rear ducktail give this a modern aggressive appearance, and even the iconic alloy wheels have nicely had the spokes painted to match the body color. But as much as this is a custom look, it does not betray the original spirit that made this a legend. You can see it on everything from Jaguar E-Type silhouette right down to the factory badging, including the cursive writing on the trunklid. The original Z-car was made for two, and this one sports inviting black buckets inside an exceptionally fresh interior. The factory three-spoke wood steering wheel is a nice tribute to the best that Europe had to offer at the time and the shifter is perfectly positioned so you always find the right gear. The AM/FM stereo keeps everything looking original, and there's even provisions for air conditioning. One look at the engine bay, and you know there has been a lot of time and money invested in this Z car. Datsun's 2.4-liter six cylinder always looks great, and this one has been serviced with new components such as a Tokico master cylinder, Kyosan Denki fuel pump, newer ZX alternator, and upgraded three-row radiator. All of this is to help ensure that this motor reliably upholds the 240Zs reputation for delivering rev-happy performance. This is the car that helped make Datsun a household name by delivering the excitement of a European on the road with easy everyday livability. That's why you get a car with four-speed manual transmission, a lively fully independent suspension, and front disc brakes. But this custom Z car goes one step further with features like the strut tower brace and grippy modern Goodyear Regatta 2 tires. This 240Z gives you the best of everything classic looks, modern unique touches, and an unbelievably affordable price. Don't look twice of this one will be gone. For sale is a beautiful 1972 model (Manufactured 09-71) Datsun 240Z. The car was sold new by Robinson Motors, in Gadsden, Alabama on December 22nd, 1971 to its original owner, original Warranty Booklet and Warranty Card is in good condition, and confirms that this is a matching number car, with the original E88 head. The car even comes with both numbered original keys, and both keys match the key numbers listed in the Warranty Booklet. It is believed that this is a true 2 owner car, our research shows that the car was originally titled in Alabama, then re-titled in New York (without change of ownership), and in November 2004 the car was sold to a new owner in Central Florida. Mileage on the odometer reads 95351, it is unknown if this is the actual mileage, we just changed shocks on the car, and the old shocks seems to be the original ones from 1971, so the mileage might be actual, but I cannot guarantee it. The car is in excellent condition, with only small spots of surface rust in spare tire well and under battery. The original floor pans had some very small holes, we grinded the floor pans down to bare metal, and welded in new metal in a couple of places. After repairing the floor pans, the whole area was treated and painted with POR-15 rust inhibitor, and then sprayed with bed-liner. Frame rails are in excellent rust free condition, so is trunk area. I did have to replace the rear quarter front section on both driver and passenger sides (the lower section just in front of the rear wheels); there was a little bit of rust there, when the car was sanded down for paint, we could see that area had previous repair done. The car has the Dealer Installed Air Condition system. Smog pump and other emission related items on the car have been removed. Car has the original tool kit, jack and tire stops. Original wheels are mounted with Uniroyal tires, 185/75-14 in very good shape, the original hub caps are still mounted on the wheels. This car was delivered in Blue Metallic (Paint Code 115) with a white interior. The interior was redone by owner in 2005, and the exterior of the car was just repainted (September 2015) in the original color. There is a crack in the original dash, I have selected not to cover this up, and would rather leave it up to the new owner to decide what to do with this. All weather-stripping was just replaced, together with all four shocks (Replaced with KYB shocks). Please be aware that pictures was taken before new shocks was installed, after the installation of the new shocks the rear end of the car sits higher than pictures shows. The car starts and runs fine; there are no grinding noises while changing gears, motor just received a general tune-up, oil/filter, air filter, and new plugs and wires. Clutch and brakes are in excellent condition, the car steers and brakes in a straight line, and there is no apparent slack in the front or rear suspension and steering components. New battery and battery tray/hold down (original Nissan Parts) was just installed. Original radio works fine.Over 100 pictures are available, please message me, and I will send you the link to the Dropbox folder.INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR SHIPPING INFORMATION, SELLER CAN HELP ARRANGE SHIPPING WORLD WIDE.

One owner car with 68K+ miles. Owner had fuel pump and sender problems, removed tank and pump and never completed repair. Last registered in 1987 and stored in warehouse until around 2000 when it was moved to a parking lot under a tarp which promoted rust. Most rusted areas are shown with the exception of the spare tire area which the bottom is rusted out. Rockers, shock towers, rear hatch, hood and other areas still in good shape. Battery was installed, engine turned over by key and appeared to have good compression. All components such as wipers, lights, power windows/mirrors, rear wiper, horn and buzzer functioned properly. Clutch was to the floor with suspected bad slave cylinder. Shifter feels like tranny is functioning properly. All glass and trim items are present and in good shape. Carpet is mostly rotted as are seat, dash and door panel cloth. Tank, fuel pump and associated part are present and in the hatch. The radio and dash area that was attached were roughly removed by thieves. Everything else is present as well as the original owner manuals and a Datsun factory repair manual. Feel free to ask questions or for photos of any areas of concern.

1973 Datsun 240Z Original drive train is in good working order. I got this car as a partial trade. It took me 5 minutes to get the car started with starter fluid and a gas can. Just sprayed the fluid in the carbs and hit the key and it fired right up. I was amazed. I have not driven the car because the fuel system, including the gas tank will need a good cleaning. My guess is the car has been sitting for a while, but this is a solid car. With a good fuel system cleaning, flush the cooling system, change the hoses and radiator flush and check the breaks and you will have a good solid driver while you work on the body. As you can see from the pictures there is rust in all the common places, but the rust is only superficial body rust and all replacement panels are available. There is no rust in the frame rails or under carriage. Someone fiber glassed the floors. It’s an amateur job but the floors are solid. This is a solid project that would not take much to be a nice classic 240Z. Any questions Text me for quick answers. 407-592-3500 Scott
