2002 Jeep Liberty 3.7 in very good condition other than the right head has dropped a valve seat on # 2 cylinder . Rebuilt upgraded heads are aprox. $450.This motor had a early design flaw that affected the #1 and #2 cylinders with a lack of cooling which caused the "loose tolerance" valve seats to fall out.The rebuilt heads available have this problem solved. The Jeep runs enough to drive it onto a flatbed or trailer. The good points are that it has a new power steering pump,new rear brakes with new drums and a brand new fuel pump with less than 1 hour on it.( originally thought fuel pump was bad while my son was in school in Philadelphia but it turned out to be the valve seat).It also has new rear tires. Inspection of # 2 cylinder with a bore scope shows that the piston top and cylinder walls appeared good with some valve seat material sitting on top.The jeep has been in our family for some time and has been great,i have too many things to work on ( Lotus Turbo Esprit,TVR ect...) and just don't have the time to swap the head.The 4 wheel drive works great and my son used this as his daily driver for 6 years with myself doing all of the fluid changes ( Mobil 1) and maintenance.The Jeep is straight as an arrow and never been bent.Some minor rust on the bottom of drivers door. As I said was my wife's car used to go back-and-forth to work about four miles each day garage kept pet free environment and a smoke free environment I looked at the body and the only floor I can find and it is about a 1 inch hair line scratch in the right front fender that will easily be touched up there is no dent associated with this the scratch it is about 1 inch long.please remember this is a used car in near mint condition there are such things as light marks on drivers door handle and on the shift knob Chrome bezel from jewelry such as rings other than that I cannot find anything else bad to say about the car that you should have any concern about.we are the original owners of the car it was bought from a local Chevy dealer in my area the car was special ordered with every option available except sunroof my wife does not like sunroofs it has navigation it has backup camera it as a backup-warning system XM radio on star climate control autostart alarm system auto liftgate power seats power windows heated seatsand much more please see the Window sticker I have with the photos I also have all documentation original to the car owners manual bro sure window sticker Service records etc.Also bid with confidence the car has a little less then a one year GM factory warranty in place that is transferable.Kelly bluebook puts the car value at $18,600 I am asking below that there will be a $500 deposit to made to myPayPal Account that will be nonrefundable, balance of sale price and pick up of vehicle will be due within seven days of end of auction certified funds such as certified check or cash will be excepted vehicle may not be taken until funds have cleared the bank.
