Original California Coupe bought from "little old lady from Pasadena" Up for Sale is one of the most original unmolested Mustangs I have ever seen in over 30 years of owning 1960's ford mustangs. I bought this car several years ago from the original owner's nephew who inherited the car upon her passing. He could not start/drive the car as it had been stored in her garage for over 10 years. When I purchased this car it was all original except for oil/air filters, battery, tires, brake shoes, water pump. It had the used original spare in the trunk and the pink slip title. The paint was original Brittany Blue but was faded to red oxide primer on hood, roof, trunk areas. The car has no bondo, all factory sheet metal that is amazingly straight with factory gaps. The car includes Date - stamped original bumpers!My son and I started a complete restoration and had to stop prior to exterior painting. Well maintained and in very nice condition especially for 148K miles. Radiator, water pump, timing belt and idler pulley replaced in the last year. Tires have 60%+ tread. Small worn spot on drivers seat. I have owned the car for about 5 years and use it primarily for trips. Adult driven and never tracked. Cosmetically you could paint the wheels and perhaps the front grill area (look closely at the front picture). Windshield is due for replacement soon because of pitting--typical old windshield issue. A very nice driver looking for a new home. I have too many cars!

The original restorer found it in a field in Ohio and completely renovated the engine, body, and interior and won several awards in mustang shows with this car for the job he did on the restoration. It has a fully restored 200 HP 6 cylinder engine with a carburetor and distributer with less than 13,000 miles on the restored engine. It also has a brand new transmition in the original housing and is an automatic so anyone can drive it. Great braking system with new brake pads, fully functional heating system, and windshield wipers. The paint job and exterior is impressive, almost brand new, and will be sure to turn heads. The paint is maroon/ dark red with a shining chrome bumpers as well as well polished chrome door handles and gas cap. I cant say enough good about this FJ- its one of the nicest I've ever seen and if the mileage was actual at 8210 it would be totally believable. It has been professionally painted in a dark BLK/green. The mechanics are perfect, gears click like brand new. There are no scratches or brush marks on the undercarriage. The metal under all the black mats in the vehicle looks brand new, I have pulled up the mat in one of the photos showing the interior drain hole which shows no sign of water ever being in the interior.Tires are 5 matching radials with new Wheels(rims).
