up for auction is my 89 mustang gt convertible 5.0 with 5 speed manual transmission. car is in nice shape but not perfect considering it is nearly 30 years old. has stock original engine and transmission with just a flowmaster exhaust and cold air intake. engine is stock otherwise. has 17" saleen sc rep wheels with nearly new tires. car as been lowered all around. has brand new top which work's as designed. new front and rear seat covers and new door panels. the previous owner started to convert the interior over to all black as it was originally red from the factory. has the black seat belts, rear carpet pieces and few other trim items the comes with the car. 2006 Mx5 Miata with very low miles. I am the second owner. I bought it in February of this year. Stored in my garage until May. Took it on vacation to Tennessee in June. Got as high as 33.5 mpg with an average of about 31 mpg. Car runs and drives like new. The 6 speed shifts perfect. It rides smooth and pretty quiet for a small car. Very tight. I put on a new chrome luggage rack on the trunk, installed cup holder lights that are red to match the dash lights and a storage pod in the trunk to hold miscellaneous items. No winters for this car. A few very light scratches that have been touched up. Tires only have 3,000 miles on them. The car is a pleasure to drive but we have decided that we have to many cars. This car just arrived from Florida and was traded in. It looks beautiful and runs great. No scratches or pebble chips. Minor wear for a used car. Carfax shows a minor accident on the rear. It must have been small. The original vin tag is still on the bumper cover so it has not been replaced. It has had paint work, but professional. Perfect match of color and texture. In fact the whole car looks great ! Defects when we looked it over were..RH window not working, ABS light on and RF tire had a small defect on sidewall. Window regulator and ABS sensor were replaced. New front tires were installed to match the rear. [these pics don't show the new tires] Has very small ding on R-R wheel lip. Other defect, top has minor cuts repaired. [3] Not nasty, 2-3" Overall top is in excellent condition and don't know how or why the cut got there. Has nice heated glass window. Should be good for many years if you can live with the small repairs. New ones on ebay for $395-449. Car stops traffic and gets thumbs up everywhere. Will easily pass state mechanical and emissions.
