Great shape Mercedes Benz 380SL Hardtop convertible ready for summer cruising ready. Turn the key and go. Who doesn't love a Mercedes Benz roadster. I put a lot of time and work into this car recently and hate to let it go, but it needs to go to someone who has a passion for these cars and will drive it. Owning two antique cars doesn't work for me, so I am selling this one as I rarely drive it.This car is road ready to go. I purchased this car in Florida from an elderly person that had had it since it was 2 years old. The car was solid, but had been rarely driven the last 10 to 15 years due to the owners age. Previous maintenance on this car was done at Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale or Palm Beach. This car is a great handling roadster whether on the winding, twisting roads of the Berkshires & Vermont or flying down a Turnpike. The car has always been garaged since coming up from Florida. The interior shows well for its age no cracks or tears. Has the (rare for this year car) heated seats, all gauges and dash lights work. Dash-cover car has some waves from sun. Paint is a good driver quality. I have shown 1 of the wheels and all 4 wheels are clean and free of scrapes (Great shape for age). Body has no rust, dings or scratches. Car is all original. When I replaced items I used original parts or OEM; even tune up parts. Glass is good for its age, no cracks or major pits. Radio is original AM/FM-tape. Tires have good tread, but are at least 7 years old. The removable Hardtop Carrier and Cover will be included in the sale I welcome inspections prior to purchase. Check out the vehicle history report. The car is a turn key driver vehicle in great condition with lot of recent ($) work into it. The price is an excellent value. Sitting 6 months maybe 1/3 quart oil and some of tranny fluidPaint bubbles on top of R-front fender (to small for camera to pick up) and couple of small rock chipsI put on soft top myself. Probably could be fit better, but works. The side windows could use new seals they leak car wash high pressureThere is some minor brake vibration does not affect braking, rotors might need to be turned - less than 2000 miles since brake job.Radio works, but it is original and not great sound.Idle is a little bumpy, no hesitation.
